The longer the store stayed open, the less helpful the employees became. Nowadays, if you go in there especially in the daytime, the people who seem to be the "shift leads" will tell you that they don't have any way to make custom fragrances, and that they're out of everything, and that they only have a handful of things premade, and they cannot make anything new. I went around Christmas time to try to get some body scrubs and some dish soap and laundry soap. I was told that I could only buy what was on the shelf already made, and that they would not be Custom fragrancing anything. I told my husband I was disappointed I couldn't get my favorite fragrances, so he went to the location in Roswell, which was more than happy to help him and I got a wonderful set of body scrubs and soaps for Christmas. He said the people in the Roswell location were very friendly and told him that in Canton they should be able to do the same thing and they could not understand why I had been turned away. I went again to the Canton location in January, hoping to find different personnel on a weekday and was again told that they did not have any fragrances to make anything customized. When I walk into the Canton location, I feel as though my presence is not welcomed. The associates in that store stay behind the fragrance bar and do other tasks while customers are shopping and it's hard to get their attention if you need anything. If you do get a question to them, they act bothered as if they wish you would just go away. I noticed another shopper the last time I was there and she was being ignored. She had questions, and the person behind the counter was dismissing her and acted as if she wished the lady would just leave. it was not like this at all when the store first opened and I remember being treated very nicely. I remember the wide variety of fragrances that could be made and I remember being able to choose whatever I wanted for my scrubs and laundry soaps. From now on, I'm going to have to shop in the Roswell location because the people in the Canton store are so unfriendly and can't be bothered to deal with customers. I used to work in retail, and in fact, I worked in a shop called Garden Botanika where we made custom fragrances for our clientele. It was one of the most enjoyable parts of my job, and I loved helping people and I never took the job for granted. I was happy to be employed and I was happy to be getting a paycheck and I was happy that customers were coming in getting excited about our products. I think there is a big difference with this generation today, because they seem to want to work for nothing, pick up a paycheck, and scroll on social media instead of helping customers. I think the Canton location really needs to take a hard look at who they have in management at that store and take a look at what the customer experience is on a typical basis. They probably need to send in secret shoppers to see what the experience is like.

The prices aren't exactly cheap nor are they ridiculously expensive. It's in that sweet spot of treat yourself occasionally range. They do offer deals. On my visit, it was but 5 get 2 free. The orange scent is my favorite. You can have a soap making event there which seems like a novel idea. The customer service was friendly and helpful. Recommended.

I was immediately drawn in by the holiday décor which was warm and inviting and definitely captured the spirit of Christmas. They had great signs with funny messages such as my favorite which said" I'm not bossy, I just know what you should be doing". I made sure that my husband read this one because he sometimes gets it confused. I also loved the one that said " I love you more today than yesterday. Yesterday you got on my nerves". Again, funny and something my husband and I both felt appropriate for our unique dynamic. They have new beds, change the bulbs often (my bed had only 60 hours on the bulbs), a wide selection of tanning oils and lotions, and an overall pleasant experience. I came upon this boutique by chance and stopped in on a whim after the shop was recommended to me by another store owner downtown. Actually, I'd passed by this charming little boutique several times and hadn't noticed that it's a boutique because it's actually located inside a converted old home in a combination residential/business area on a shady, tree-lined side street. Once I walked inside, I found so many cute things that I didn't know what to look at first, but I immediately spied a bunch of cute Paula Deen kitchenware/decor I tucked into one corner and I immediately made a beeline towards it. Elsewhere, my husband I found a big clearance/sale section located in another room and tons of eclectic decor items, including candles, pillows, pottery, glassware, some vintage pieces, plus racks of clothing and accessories and so much more. Every room of this old home was chock full of unique wares (don't think about not hitting the second floor-there's even more in store upstairs). Don't forget to stop in the bathroom, too, because most of the fragrances, lotions, cosmetics, and candles are in there! It smelled so good, it almost felt like a spa. Staff was really friendly both times we were in the store. Prices are good outlet prices and just about everything was 70% off, and a few things (back wall clearance stuff) were 70% + an additional 20% off. Posted sheets on the wall made it pretty easy to calculate (close enough) what prices would be for different items. Looks like they do a good job of displaying for the current season so I would be guessing, but would think they probably have 4 major updates to inventory during the course of the year. If you're shopping for a high quality purse at a reasonable price, I'd recommend coming to these outlets just to shop here before making a purchase anywhere else. I see others are also complaining about that. There are MANY Blairsville people that shop KOHLS and at one point a rumor they would build one here. Earlier this month I called the store on a Sunday because I could not get there until WED....the gal said she could put a 2 day extra pickup on the record and told me to call back Tuesday and ask them to take my order to customer service for a hold to pick up WED. I called Tuesday as instructed by her and told them as to what she had told me...I was told 'no can do'. Asked for a manger and she said 'no can do'...that "Online orders are pulled already and shipped back and they cannot override them" Later that day I got an email from Kohls saying thanks for your pickup. WELL I just ignored the email until the bill came today and sure enough it is on the credit card bill?!! I am basically DONE with Kohls. They have lost a faithful life long customer since they opened in Canton. I guess the manager took my order? So much pulled for return to online center?!
