I have been in awe of their thematics and intentions behind their selection of stems, filler, and greens. On my last order which was all handled via text (yes they offer texting services!), we were able to create a Celestial Winter Wonderland with hues of burgundy and wood elements. The final creation once I approved a few stems, denied a few, and selected the vase led to by far one of my favorite creations to date. I came to get a going away gift for her co-worker. My mom specifically wanted a trivet. A trivet is used under a hot plate while serving food. It prevents the table from getting any damage due to the heat from the hot plate. This trivet is made out of ceramic or porcelain. I didn't even know what it really was until I looked it up. Lol. I did but I didn't know that was the proper name for it. My mom requested a specific trivet. This one has a photo of the star on the mountain here in El Paso. People say whenever you see the star on the mountain, you know you're home :) I have to agree with that. There is no place like home or El Paso. It's a very unique place. Anyway... This market sells items like homemade soaps, chapstick, home decor, art and more. The trivet was $18 plus tax. Proceeds go toward the 8-3 shooting victims. A local photographer sells these items, along with more of her art and photography. I wouldn't mind having a meal at the bistro sometime. The staff from the bistro were very nice and polite. The customer service at the market place could've been a little bit better. The two women there were helpful but not entirely friendly. Overall an ok transaction.

So, I am zooming in to a seminar tonight on "the chocolate regimen" hosted by ale Chocolat du Bouchard in Illinois. I have been craving chocolate since I signed up for this event...they are in Illinois and I am in El Paso Texas so I needed some good chocolate for tonight to enjoy while I watch the presentation. The operative word here is good chocolate- not left over Halloween candy, but the kind of thing you would eat if you were royalty. And so, being a Princess in my mind I opted for some truffles from this Hallmark store that is the closest one to me. I called them to see if the were open with current new restrictions. The lady who answered the phone (Pat) said they were not allowing customers into the store but you could place a phone order and they will bring what you want to your car when you arrive!!! It does not get any better than this!
