I had products in mind and I'm really glad she gave her honest opinion. She preferred products on the moderate price range and had me test them out. A little goes a long way and she actually saved me money so shout out to her! She did have me try a couple different brands and I stepped out to check them out in other lighting. She agreed that would be a good idea because it's bright white lighting in their store. I went to target next door and the lighting was trash so I took selfies in the car and then I was immediately sold when I came back it was perfect timing because she just got off her break. She checked me out with no issues and we just laughed about random things. Unfortunately they didn't have the living proof no frizz oil I was looking for so I'll have to go to Nordstroms but no worries. I'll definitely come back and work with Reaira again! The place was really busy but I love girlhood because it just felt like we were all getting ready together and sharing mirrors and excusing ourselves when we got in each others way. That was my mistake for waiting so long to open the box but I was hoping that a business that I have supported for ten years would have a solution. I intentionally shop here over ordering from online stores to support freestanding businesses. Unfortunately when I attempted to exchange the dryer they politely said there was nothing they could do and I left with a dryer that I will never be able to use. This is not a good place to invest in dryers..... hard lesson learned. They sell products with missing pieces. I would have had a better experience if I would have ordered the dryer online because the dryer would have came with four wheels . Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a great selection of soaps and other items such as decorations and knick knacks. I went to two other locations and was given all but a "Aww, that's too bad. Sorry, I guess" and to be honest I was pretty hot under the collar. I was in the area and decided to just stop in and see if I could plead my case. Without even a second thought, Leah went above and beyond to work her magic and I am so so grateful. When I say I will go out of my way to only come to this Kohls location from now on, I mean it.

If a Marshall's and a thrift store married, Gabe's might be their offspring. All merchandise is new…read morehere but it's haphazardly organized with sometimes very limited availability of sizes, styles, or quantities. Gabe's is massive with a slight warehouse feel. When I walked in, the far corner seemed a shuttle ride away. Patience is necessary at Gabe's. For example, despite row after row after row of shelves of mens shoes I never found a pair in my size where they were supposed to be. Different sizes were all over the place. Also, some styles I liked I couldn't find in my size. Still, there were some impressive premium brand names like The North Face and Red Wing. They sat alongside shoes made of all synthetic materials and clearly intended for "value price" retailers. The mens clothing section provided a similar experience. Racks were so jam-packed with items it was difficult to browse them. A quick circuit of the store disclosed household, pet, and pantry items; toys; foods and pantry stuff, kitchen wares; garden products; and other things that seemed to be clearance, close-out, or overstock inventory. The junior's section seemed the most promising and organized. There were a handful of nicer brands: Aeropostale, American Eagle, and Nike. That being said, there was also a lot of polyester as well. The prices were good (maybe not for the Ariat boots or Nike) for most items. The linens consisted of some known (to me) brands and there was a good variety of cute sheets, comforters, and bathroom necessities. This is the spot for inexpensive king and queen-sized bedding!! Long story short: if you've got time to kill, you could like find a few things. If not, you may have a few laughs. Either way, it's a fun stop.
