Went in and was greeted by the two ladies on staff, even though the register is located near the rear of the store, and both ladies seemed engrossed in an inventory projects, they both acknowledged my presence and made me feel welcome. Upon checking out, I was informed of a Saturday sale on their candles. Too bad, I will be back in Atlanta on Saturday. Personally, I beginning to think that candles are like fingernail polish...they are coming up with the same fragrances but attempting to fool the consumer with different names and labels, but the $20 off a $40 purchase coupon can go far if you know how to spread it around. A pleasant visit at one of my favorite candle store, and while they seem to be shutting them down frequently in the metro area, this seems to be true gem for the chain 26 of 100

This mall is located across the road from the University, (great move!) and from the outside it appears old and dated. However, when we went inside, we noticed that the place was very bright and sparkling clean. I love the open design, the split food-court, generously sized play area for kids, the super cool double-decker carousel and overall vibe. When we were there, we did not encounter many people but as we perused the major anchor stores, (Dillard's and Macy's), we only encountered friendly employees. The mall appeared to be a mixture of mid-level stores but did have something to fit every budget. There was also a barbershop and nail salon available. They had great seating areas consisting of benches and upholstered seats as well. I love their comfortable carpet that runs throughout the mall. It felt very good and provided nice cushioning. My husband and I found it very odd that an At Home store could be accessed from within the mall. It was actually one of the anchors! Why not? This is the changing face of the American mall. While my favorite stores here were relatively small, that was to be expected considering this is a much smaller community. However, if your needs are simple, they will probably have what you need. Personally, I was very disappointed in their lack of quality shoe stores and think that they need to work toward improving the available options. A great choice if you are looking for more urban options or comfortable spot for your morning stroll. ***This mall does have a police presence. When it didn't arrive and the tracking showed it hadn't left the store the first thing I did was call the store that it was supposed to ship from to see what the hold up was and I was told that they had no way to look up my order in the system at all and that I should call USPS well I had already checked with USPS and they informed me that they had not received it. I then call customer service who can see that I've placed the order but have no idea where it is and that it was estimated as 3 to 5 days instead of the original estimate and the only solutions I was offered was to wait for it or a refund. After 7 business days and 11 days overall I went to my local store to see if they could help me since the package still hasn't left the store. When I got there they did look it up but had no information. I left and called USPS they said they didn't have it and that there was no way that it wouldn't have been scanned at all in 11 days. I then called the store it was shipped from again this time they did look up the order but said they had already sent it and they didn't have it. So I return into the store asking if I can speak with a store manager to resolve this. The store manager said that there was nothing he could do but issue me a refund and sell me one at the same price. Well GameStop has already taken my money a refund according to your policy can take up to a week. I don't have money to buy a second one and wait for a refund that is a lot of money. When I asked if he could call the district manager he refused saying he wasn't allowed to give his number out. I explained that I was not asking for him to give me the number but simply to use the store phone to contact them and see if they had the authority to resolve it. He refused to call anyone saying he wasn't allowed abd that he could email him. I have already waited almost a week and a half I don't want to wait for someone to stumble across an email and get back to me when? I left the store called customer service the only thing they offered was to escalate it to a team who could look into it but couldn't tell me how long that would take or when I would get my product. This is supposed to be a Christmas present for my husband which I had to work extra to be able to afford and now I don't know if I'll be able to give it to him. I feel as though my money has been stolen and no one wanted to help me just pass me off to the next person. I hope the company can improve there services because this does not make me want to be a customer. I have worked in customer service and retail all my life including being a store manager myself and I would never treat anyone this way. My manager cared very much about making sure customers were happy and would personally talk to them if needed when I called to resolve an issue that I couldn't or didn't have the authority to do. This company clearly doesn't care about their customers.
