I usually love shopping at Bath & Body Works, but this visit was extremely disappointing. It was my birthday, and instead of having a pleasant experience, I was made to feel uncomfortable because of the cashier's attitude. The cashier named Dana was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Her tone and behavior completely ruined what should have been a happy moment. Customer service should never make a customer feel disrespected, especially over something so unnecessary. I hope management addresses this situation and provides better training, because no customer deserves to be treated this way--especially on their birthday. read more

I will readily admit I'm not a fan of B & BWz products and fragrances overall. Not sure what it is. Too sweet or something. The exception? As they label it, " Concentrated Room Spray". I stumbled upon these useful little guys years ago and have been a devotee ever since. They were 3 for $11 the first time I bought them and are up there at 3 Xz $22 now! But,watcha gonna do. Every single time I come in here I feel like I'm being harassed by employees "Is there anything I can help you with?" "Can I help you find a scent?" "Oh return? You don't want to do an exchange?" This store is fully stocked and has some good deals for last-minute Christmas shoppers. I enjoyed the new fragrance lines that I sampled today, but the store is overstaffed with semi aggressive employees pushing the same products to you around every corner. Yikes, the staff here are rude. I went in for a simple order pickup and the girl helping me acted like I had personally offended her. The girl at the register next to me was checking out a woman who had her husband and kids with her. The wife was trying to make conversation with the young employee and the employee never said a single word back to her. No "thank you" or "have a nice day" and she didn't even tell the customer what her final total was. All around it was an incredibly awkward time spent in that store. read more

If you are sensitive to scents I suggest avoiding this place. When you walk in it's like hitting a brick wall of scents all at once. They have a nice selection of perfume/lotion/etc ranging in smell to cater to almost everyone. My mother is very sensitive to certain perfumes after having gone through chemo and she was able to find one that she could tolerate without it giving her a headache. The staff is a mix of friendly and not. The woman greeting everyone at the door was wonderful but as we moved further into the store it was like as you got closer to the back people hated their job more and more. If you go on a big sale day (tax free weekend, Black Friday, etc) do note this is a decent sized store but it has a lot crammed in. I could see someone getting claustrophobic in there and I'm sure the scents wouldn't help. They have everything piled and stacked so that only two (average sized) people can fit down the isles at a time. Overall not a bad place. Out of the three BBW locations I visit (Galleria, Northpark, Mockingbird) this is the best. The workers are very friendly and helpful even during the craziest and busiest sales. The guys that are usually in the front of the store are the best I've seen in all of the BBW I've visited in DFW area. Good job. Products are quickly restocked and sales are explained. I walked in 10 minutes prior to closing on 07/17/17. As soon as I got to the Coco Shea display, some of the store lights were darkened/turned off. This was the worst experience I ever had at any store ever. Bath & Body Works Dallas, TX North Park center, I was in a hurry and knew exactly what I wanted, except I wanted to make sure I enjoyed the scents I already had previewed online. As soon as I walked in there was someone "Matt a Manager" ready to ask me to help "what are you shopping for" even though I didn't want it. I replied briefly "shower gels" and kept on walking, another "Manager Erin/Aren" tried to say something, but I was in a hurry I ignored and kept on going. I got to the spot I was looking for maybe had a minute to myself to smell and approached yet again by "Julian", I purposely ignored him, but still answered his questions without making Eye contact, the same question he felt the need to ask 4 times in a row "what are you shopping for?","I answered" I was already asked that question" he then replied "well you can answer it again" He turned thinking I would continue to shop and ignore being talked to like that. I went up to him and forced myself to look at his name tag and explained, I was not nice but extremely clear " I was asked that question as soon as I walked in and answered and asked another 4 times before I even got to shop" He said "well you get to hear it a 5th time." I then went straight to a Manager Erin/Aren explained what happened and that I also work retail and never talked to anyone like that what struck a nerve with me was the fact that this Manager excused Julian and tried to tell me since I work retail I should know how to respond"I the customer am wrong for not responding to your associate who is trying to get me to spend money, increase store UPTs by converting me into a sale by talking to me like that?, When I had already planned on spending money had I just been left alone and would have asked for help if I needed it, yet you have a problem with me telling you how inappropriate and rude it was to talk to anyone like that. I'm done with Bath and Body Works I will never shop there again and neither should you. I let a Manager know 2x not just Erin/Aren but Matt who did the same, defend Julian's actions I called this time and his excuses were the same even though he was there, "Julian did nothing wrong" I cussed in conversation and repeated the question "You think you are going to convert people like that?" "you think your Units per transaction will be up by treating customers like that?" Livid barely covers what I feel. I let corporate know and now Yelp does too! I do not have to respond to any associate while deciding how I want to spend my money in any store I ever shop in, neither do you. I can't really comment on the pricing of this store since it's a chain and there are always good deals for your soaps, body washes, and lotions. What I can comment on is the friendly customer service - they're very attentive at this store and always ask if you need any help finding anything. They're not pushy and if you say you're just looking, they'll let you go on your merry way and shop without feeling the pressure to buy out the whole store. I told her that if I went into bath and body works I would be greeted within seconds and shown some products. I was right. I just finished stopping in at Bath & Body Works in the Collin Creek Mall and I will not be going back. First of all, the lady was extremely slow. I'm on my lunch hour and don't have a lot of time. Then she proceeded to talk to another sales person while ringing up my purchase. I had to ask for my change because she was carrying on an in depth conversation all the while holding on to my change while I waited and NOT taking care of me THE CUSTOMER!! I explained to her that I was in a hurray and thanked her for giving me back my change. She stone faced looked at me and wouldn't say a word or even offer a thank you for my patronage. She left a very bad impression on me and I won't go back. Further more, I will make sure to let everyone know about that store and how bad the customer service is. Way to go!
