The selection of scents that is available, you will be able to find something for everyone. When we lived in Oklahoma, we would take a trip to Bartlesville to Keepsake Candle to visit. We would always make a trip around Christmas time to buy gifts for family members. They have great gifts that aren't candle related also. I loved going in and seeing what all they had because it was different every time. I love them and miss visiting the staff and store. I am so sad to hear that it closed. I wish that they still sold online or on etsy.

I have for some time now called NYC home, but I love to give these amazing candles as gifts to my friends here. I placed a fairly large order during the holidays, but procrastinated and needed them by a certain date (totally my fault for waiting until the last minute), but these lovely ladies at Keepsake realized I might not get my order as soon as I'd hoped, so they immediately emailed me and then spent at least 30 minutes with me over the phone helping me to pick and choose items they had in stock so I could have them shipped in time. They didn't have to do any of this for me and I really appreciate that they cared enough to not only work with me in order to meet my deadline, but also to deliver a consistently superior product. Best product, best people, and best service hands down. As a side note; bring the kiddos too! They have two adorable and friendly cats to keep them occupied while you shop. My fiancé and I visited a couple years ago with my parents and the owners were even so kind as to give us a tour of the candle making process and even dip our own candles. We all recall the scene of Pretty Women treated like trash! My experience today at 2:00 PM…read more Walked in smile on my face, ready to shop some Maileg. Two at the front counter, didn't bother to even look up nor greet me. I was the only customer! I am half way through the store in search of Maileg and the only young lady walked up from the warehouse, actually physically moving, greeted me. I shared I was searching for the Maileg collection. She dropped me off and was pleasant, but disappeared. Others walked by and just frowned that I was actually touching the display. Maybe more concerned, I was a going to shoplift, they were quick to take my items to the front counter. Although, the most pleasant (possibly owner) was headed to market, stopped to see if she could assist. Together we chose items and she took my remaining items to the counter. Suggested she would look for the items I inquired about. Epic, she left and of course they had even less pleasant things to say about their boss's I continue to browse and both of 2 employees at the front counter, notice my pink bag is still behind the counter. Started mocking my short hair cut and the clothes I was wearing. "Did she decide, she couldn't afford them?" Awareness not being a strength either of them held for a retail position. The gal that initially helped me, scolded them as I was still in the store. Same employee who was rude to me was on a roll! She spoke rudely about the mother who brought her son into the store to finalize on the bracelet for his sister's birthday. Same lady was very supportive about the upcoming JELLYCAT event. But in true form, the two of them, as she walked out with her son. Very talking trash about her! I am confident she is supporting both their wages. I made the mistake of completing my purchase and I promise; never again. In fact I am thinking of returning it tomorrow. I vow to pay shipping before supporting either of them. YOU are stealing hourly wages from your employer and speaking badly about her the moment she walks out the door. Big mistake, I will not stop here. I will make sure Maileg is more than aware of how you are representing them. Finally, I think she was more surprised my name was in there system. Yes, I have been supporting you since you opened. Not ever again.

They had local Wichita stuff, along with other smaller designers. They carried clothes and shoes, and many gift items for any occasion. Ended up purchasing a cute headband/head wrap and a pair of $25 glasses that I love. I might have to stop back by before the end of my trip to purchase another pair of glasses. I really wanted to find a local Wichita pin for my jacket, but unfortunately they didn't have any. All of the staff was friendly and helpful and welcomed us as soon as we entered the store.
