Super cute store in downtown Wichita. Had picked up a list from Clifton Collective of local shops in Wichita to visit while I was here. They had local Wichita stuff, along with other smaller designers. They carried clothes and shoes, and many gift items for any occasion. Ended up purchasing a cute headband/head wrap and a pair of $25 glasses that I love. I might have to stop back by before the end of my trip to purchase another pair of glasses. I really wanted to find a local Wichita pin for my jacket, but unfortunately they didn't have any. All of the staff was friendly and helpful and welcomed us as soon as we entered the store. My brother and I went in looking for some Kansas magnets, which they unfortunately did not have, but the amazing young woman that was helping us recommended a different shop to us. This has been my favorite local buisness from the day they opened. And when the expanded in to the property next door, a dream come true! More room means more amazing things to find. They truly are a unique and eclectic place to shope. I jave seen others say they are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Do you want that same generic piece of jewelry everyone else has? No, then you should come to Lucinda's. I tried (and purchased) perfume that I had never known about before I saw it at this store. I loved it some much I got online to order other products. Lucinda's has also introduced me to jewelry brands I would never know about but still to this day order or purchase at Lucinda's. As for the staff, I cant say enough good thing abou them. Most every gift I have bought for another from this shop has been enjoyed more so than the usual. Lucinda's is one my favorite gift shops ever. It's a very trendy little store in Oldtown that sells clothing, jewelry, handbags, lamps, accessories, etc. It's a very unique mix of stuff too; you'll find things here that you won't find in your typical gift shop. Being a big Beatles fan, I was pleasantly surprised to find several unusual Beatles/John Lennon gifts, including a necklace with my favorite song lyrics ever, "You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one". A few other things I took home: a set of silver candlesticks for my mom, a blue beaded handbag and Marie Antoinette's sugary head on a stick. Take your credit card, it can be a bit pricey! read more

Seems everyone loves Lucindas and what's not to love. Whenever I want to go downtown I just ask my beautiful wife, "ya Wanna go to Lucindas" and I'm in every time!. It's open late and fun to stroll through on the weekend evenings after taking in a movie or whatever else your doing in Old Town. There's an array of things to buy, to many to list, from cute little knick knacks to designer clothing and shoes. The staff is nonexistence until you need something and then they seem to be right there. We like that the non hassle environment. Lisel always says "lets go in and just look" but of course it never turns out that way, there's to much cool stuff to turn a blind eye to. I'm giving Lucindas a 4, shy one star cause there's not much for me there, but I'm sure Lisel would give them a 6. read more

I'm 23 and last time I came here was about 2015 when I found a beautiful dress. I recently came back Friday 5/12/23 with my little sisters to browse and look for a Mother's Day gift for our grandparents. When I say the ladies working there we're rude.... Staring us down the whole time as if we were trying to steal?? Also didn't tell us to let them know if we need help until 30 min of us being in there. But the way she said it was condescending and judgmental. The other older lady with blonde hair, when it came time for me to check out the one thing I found semi cute... because side note: everything in that store is tacky and made cheaply from the clothes to the jewelry it's actually horrible. When I was checking out she asked if I wanted to use rewards I said "no thanks" she said "what's your address" I gave it to her and she shook her head and asked for my name. I gave it to her. She threw her hands up and yelled "well I can't find you". I said that's great I really would just like to buy this please and thanks" she proceeds to let me pay and give a condescending "have a nice day". Unfortunate because this boutique used to have some class but now it's just a tacky shop with ugly items made of cheap materials and rude staff so It's safe to say. I won't be coming back read more

I've been pulled into this store quite a lot over the past few years. Lucinda's is a must visit on an regular basis. They always seem to have different things when my wife and I go in. The owners are extremely friendly and hard working. There is a huge variety of merchandise in the store. They are conveniently located! If you're a dude reading this, grab a gift card for your lady friend- I'm sure it'll go over well. ;o) Anything negative? I struggle to find anything bad to say. I love Lucinda's to the point that I sometimes have to make a concerted effort to stay away. They have a great selection of clothes, jewelry, gifts, and other ephemera and fun tidbits. I can spend hours perusing all the clothing racks (especially the sale rack that is situated near the dressing rooms). It seems no matter how frequently I go into Lucinda's, there is always an amazing amount of new merchandise for my consideration. And most of their offerings are very reasonably priced. I once found myself debating between two coats. I ended up just getting both because they were equally cute and inexpensive. The staff at Lucinda's has always been an asset to my shopping experience. They have time and again been very welcoming and immensely helpful. Whether advising on an outfit or helping fulfill a special request, the staff has time and again taken my shopping excursion to the next level of ease and enjoyment. I never feel pressured or pressed, just free to look at my leisure and ask questions as necessary. I've shopped at here for years and look forward to many more of great fun and great finds at Lucinda's. read more

They sell Free People here! They sell Free People here! And while that sounds pretty awful, it's actually amazingly awesome, as Free People is one of my favorite clothing brands, and I hadn't seen it anywhere else in Wichita until a couple of months ago when I was shopping (for gifts...for other people...of course!). I also love the unique dresses and shoes, purses, jewelry, and cute little oddball gifts. The staff has mostly been helpful and friendly, although once I got the "prettier than you" vibe and that wasn't so great. But it was just once. This Trendy shop is sandwiched in between a few other restaurants and shops around the Old Town Warren. I like the location. I like that I can stop by this shop after eating sushi at Hana Cafe or watching a film at the Warren. All 3 of these locations are open late. Thankfully there's a parking garage, because the parking situation downtown sucks. Lucinda's is a cutesy fun shop; with trinkets, clothing, accessories, and decorative odds and ins. I'm glad Wichita has this locally owned Kansas City-esque store front with unique items but like majority of these shops, they are usually over priced. I bought a cute knitted hat for my sister for Christmas. It cost me almost $40. Online stores offer similar items at cheaper prices, however stopping by might give you gift ideas for free. This adorable little shop is located in Old Town tucked away next to the movie theater. It carries tons of cute little trinkets, cards, and clothes. We even found the cutest Christmas ornament for my 8 year old daughters teacher. Pros:They also have beautiful shoes, clothes and the cutest sock monkey pull over hats. Lucinda's is a great place to find that gift for that person who has almost everything! Because Lucinda's also has almost everything! Lotions, jewelry, bags, soaps, candles, chandeliers, clothes, wind-up toys . . . and that's not even the half of it! The staff is nice and really helpful. As I was looking through a tub of buttons to make a pair, I was encouraged to just dump it on the counter to make it easier. "Come on! Don't be shy! Just dump it!" Two of the cashiers helped me search through what I dumped out and the cashier on the other side decided to try her tub. I happily walked out with my matching set of buttons! While I love Lucindas for thier great jewelry and adorable Indie clothing....I think from now on I'll stick to ordering the brands I like online so I can skip the nasty attitudes of the majority of their staff. I've been going to Lucindas for about a year now and in the beginning it was wonderful and the staff was always more than helpful. I'm not sure what happened! There's two ladies in particular that are constantly following me around like I'm going to steal something. I understand that employees need to be cautious of shoplifters but it's rather insulting when it happens to you EVERY TIME you go into their store despite the fact that you purchase something EVERY TIME you go into their store. I made a stop there last night and after my experience, I've decided it's just time to quit going. I was carrying around two dresses that I wanted and a skirt from rack to rack trying to find a top to match the skirt and was approached by a staff member who told me she would need to hold my items at the register. I told her I wasn't completely decided and was still trying to find something to match to which her response was "Well you can't just carry it around." Really? I see plenty of other folks carrying their unpurchased items around the store. If I was dressed in Deb's clothing or something equally cheap and awful, I would expect this behavior from their staff. But I was wearing a $150 dress that I bought from Lucinda's with the most adorable heels that I got in an NYC boutique last month! I, fed up with her vibe, opened my clutch and thumbed over my cash and told her I wasn't looking to steal anything. She was more than willing to let me hold on to my items and suddenly wanted to help me pick out jewelry to match. I ended up looking up the brand names of the clothes I had picked out on my phone's web browser and found an online boutique that carried them. I put my items back on the rack, walked out and decided that would be the last time I set foot in Lucinda's. I've probably spent over $3000 in that store over the last year. I dropped about $500 just on clothes one day because I LOVE their clothes brands. I feel like I've given them pretty decent business since I discovered their store and in return I just get treated like a criminal. read more

I adore Lucinda's. I like to visit once every couple of weeks because I always find something new. They carry fun gift items, from pretty jewelry to unique socks to gag-gift type things (like an inflatable cat unicorn!) Check out their sale section too, because even though nothing is outrageously priced here, you can get an even better deal by checking out their sales, which are great. I also get really good service whenever I visit. The staff is always friendly without being pushy or hovering, so that also keeps me coming back. My only complaint is that they're too small! It's a shame there is no room for expansion where they are at now. Old Town needs more shops like Lucinda's! read more

Prices here can be high, but that's boutique shopping for you. I have many items from Lucinda's, and they are treasures to me, especially my Wichita t-shirts. They have great sales throughout the year, and I enjoy looking through their shoes. I wish Lucinda's would carry non-Wichita clothes that aren't always so Indie, but I understand that that's probably a big portion of people who shop there. The store is a little cramped, but I still love visiting every time I go. read more

What a fun little boutique to shop in. I happened to be in town for business and since I haven't yet started my Christmas shopping, was in search of unique stocking stuffers. This big little shop has everything you could imagine and many things you cannot. It is the perfect spot for the eclectic part of your personality but has many items that lends to the practical as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices are fair for the type of items. They do not have shopping baskets (you might need one) but they offer to set your items behind the counter so you can have both hands free to fill both arms again. Don't be fooled into thinking this shop is just for the ladies, gents. There are plenty of items to pique your interest and imagination too. read more

I don't live in Wichita, but visited there recently on business (I live in Atlanta.) I arrived early evening at my hotel in Old Town, had no car and thought sure I'd be spending my whole evenng watching TV. What a great surprise to find Lucinda's! Lucinda's is one of the best boutiques I've visited in my travels around the country - clothing, jewelry, gifts, they have it all - and unique items you won't find elsewhere (and I travel a lot!) The jewelry selection alone is worth the trip as well as the Free People and vintage look clothing items. They also have some great gift items suitable for men or women. You can splurge, but also find very reasonably priced items too. They're open late, so great for business travelers with some time to spare after working all day. I intended to give it a quick look and spent over an hour there browsing (and buying!) The staff is friendly and helpful but lets you shop at your leisure without pressure. For anyone visiting Wichita (especially those staying in Old Town) make sure you visit Lucinda's - to shop for yourself, or those back home you want to bring a special gift. I took home "gifts" for me and did some early Christmas shopping for the family. I've gotten compliments on the jewelry in particular and (no offense folks) people are surprised when I tell them it came from a great shop in Wichita! read more
