Both of us brought our own vessel to use (we had also done some thrifting), but there were several options in-store as well. The team at Sable did a great job explaining the process to us and overseeing our steps. They were not at all rushed, so we had a fun, relaxing time choosing our scents, mixing our oils, coming up with fun names for our creations, and chatting and catching up with each other. The two of us chose very different fall scents, and we both were so happy with our finished products! We will definitely be back to create a new treasure in the spring!

They have been hosting small businesses to do popups and the day I went was to visit a friend who runs a micro-bakery called Smorris Desserts. There are so many cute things and also other small artists and creators hosted in the store as well such as Atelier Celeste which is one of my favorite local ceramics artists. I bought a super cute necklace from their jewelry/build your own charm bar near the registers. They had a mix of gold AND SILVER which was really nice since so many places I go to often only sell gold. I also got a cute bag charm for my purse. The prices were honestly really reasonable especially for a small local business. I think if you're able, I would try to get gifts here for friends, parties, etc. The staff is also super great. Lindsay is one of the people who I often see there and they are the coolest, kindest, and most knowledgeable people about the are. They have everything from cookbooks to baby toys to stickers. There are gifts for almost every age and demographic. There are often goods from local artists and creatives which is really nice. One of my favorite features is the monthly art locker. For a one-time cost, you get a physical key with access to a locker with monthly goodies! The staff may be some of the kindest I've met. You can always talk about your day or learn about what's been going on downtown. There is a shop cat named Yuki who is soooooo cute and is my personal "where's waldo" whenever I'm in the store. Their marketing and promotions are really fun and the videos often make me laugh. They offer some free and paid events, making it a nice place to meet new people and engage in creativity. You have plenty of time and material to mix scents and try so many different options. After your scents are created, you can have them made into ANY of their products from hand soap and shower gel to bath bubbles and perfume. They have so many different products from $18-70 and you pay for the product you want. They will make your products on the spot and you take them home. Experience: we made a reservation and had our 5 month one with us in a car seat/stroller. The inside is warm and inviting yet bright and airy. Our baby was able to stay in her carseat on the chair with us the whole time however it's not really a "baby" space so know your baby prior to taking them. They do allow walk ins (I recommend making a reservation) and another couple joined us as walk ins. Cassidy was our experience guide and she was fantastic! She explained all of the steps and was there for any questions however allowed us to do our own thing. It was so fun to mix up different scents and see what stood out and what you thought you would like but didn't. We ordered 3 products and after Cassidy made each one, she had us smell to ensure it was exactly what we wanted. Tips: -Make sure you have your phone for the experience. You will log your scents and create your product mixes through the QR code. -The length of the experience is based on you. We decided to do 2 scents each and then decided on products. Our appt was at 11:15a and we left at 12:05p however, the couple that walked in and joined us, made 1 scent with 1 product and was gone prior to us. -All of their products are refillable with a 20% off discount. You can refill them with the scent you had or make a completely new one! Just bring in your used container and go from there. We absolutely loved our experience and will be back! They just opened a location downtown Detroit and we have already told several of our family members to make reservations!
