But that was OK. I still got a farmhouse soap, farmhouse laundry detergent, the farmhouse oil, and a dryer ball. I loved the farmhouse smell. As you can tell. However, when I used the product for the first time, I experienced a skin reaction. My neck and chest became red and irritated, with a stinging sensation that lasted for several hours. I reached out to Bath Junkie to report the issue and share a photo, and I will say that their customer service team responded promptly. The representative I corresponded with apologized for the situation and advised me to stop using the product immediately. She said their product packaging was accurate. There was no offer to make things right, such as a refund or replacement, nor any apparent takeaway on their end to dispose of (or further test) the cherry or almond scents in my product, or change their labeling. I do have sensitive skin, but I've used a variety of customizable products from other brands (e.g. Buff City Soaps) without issue, and shop at stores like Lush, so this reaction was unexpected. Ultimately, I have to caution others with sensitive skin to be mindful when trying Bath Junkie's products, and do a test patch prior to applying more widely to the skin.

A great selection of products was only complimented by a friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist. I saw some products that I've seen before but I saw just as many that I can say I've never seen before. A specialty store done well. I noticed a huge retirement card that was nice and it was priced at $12.99. This was my first time here so I walked around to check out what all they offered. It is Christmas time, so they had a lot of themed items. I came across a section with retirement items and found a really cute mug that I purchased and it was $15.99. I checked out the ornaments and the one I liked said out of stock. I asked the worker how I could get one and she said I could check online, otherwise it's out because Hallmark makes ornaments for the year and next year will be different to make you keep on buying. I found another item that I purchased for a friend whose mom passed away. Her mom loved cardinals and they had a nice section of Cardinal things - I picked the Cardinal ornament. Miniso is the place to find adorable plushies, clothings and shoes with characters on them, makeup and beauty products for tweens and teens, keychains that look like cats dressed up as burgers, Japanese snacks, and many other fun gifts. The store is just fun-fun-fun to a power of 10. The Japanese snacks are limited, but what they did have was interesting and unusual. My child wanted a container of rolled cup-style Doritos, which tasted like normal nacho cheese Doritos, but were shaped like crunchy Cheetos. And they were in a cup. So novel! This is my biggest complaint here.....if Sally's manager knows that these are crap, why don't they just advise their customers about them upon purchase so we don't waste our hard earned money?!. OR give advise on a way to make them work properly? They do not give refunds. At a time like this where people save to have luxuries like something like this its very sad for a store to take advantage of consumers!!!!
