The candles were returned to us with all the black soot still there. The candles are not even filled up at the same level. Tony called today, and was told it is Christmas & they are too busy to pay attention to quality control... so much that the owner said she now has a sign in the door saying so. I am in complete shock that ANY store owner would be ok with an item looking like would leave their store. So yes, as you condescendingly stated, your product did not live up to our expectations! Wicks Nola is more than just candles though they have linen sprays, aromatherapy focused products, and more. I have seen these candles everywhere for my entire life and I had no idea! This shop is small, but as soon as you walk in you are inundated with the sweet smell of all of the candles they sell. They have a "scent bar" where you can sniff and smell all of the candles to your heart's content. I will say that I was pretty impressed by how strong the candles are and how "on the nose" the scents were. They have a cupcake scent that smells exactly like fresh bakes cupcakes. How do they even do that? The girl working was friendly enough and greeted us with a "hello".
