I knew they were overpriced but wanted to support my local gemstore. Then the girl, who was very nice, asked for a tip. I didnt understand why I was tipping and bc I am kind, I did tip. I realize that stores like this take advantage of people's kindness. What is even worse is store owners pay less base pay with the promise of tips so its the owners who should be shamed, taking advantage of not only their employees but also the kindness of people who patronage their shop. I even picked up a pencil plant or euphorbia tirucalli for you succulent aficionados out there. This is a gift shop that compliments their indoor plant shop! It has house decor, greeting cards, candy, candles, kid and dog toys, totes, and more! I really wanted the plant lady door mat and gonna see if it's there when I need a replacement for mine. It's quaint and smaller than I imagined. You've got to look up and down and all round so you don't miss all the different items offered. They will gift wrap your gifts even if you didn't buy it there. Today was awesome bc they treated us to HiFi cookies. I was told they will have them for sale in the future!
