B&BW is one of my favorite stores. They were having a good sale, so I ventured inside. I grabbed what I needed and made my way to check out. At that point, I encountered one of the longest lines I've ever seen. They had all workers at each station, they were moving rapidly, but it was still a good wait. Who doesn't love BBW! Some locations are better than others. This one is a good one. I have ordered things from on line and have been able to pick up from this location with no wait. I have been able to make returns and exchanges with no issues, everyone is this location as always been friendly or helpful. Came to this location today after a doctors appointment in the area. It was fairly busy but staff helped me find what i needed and the women at the register were nice, friendly and helpful. Bath and Body Works on 125th Street is just as nice as the other locations. I guess there's not many Yelpers up here that do business at this location. I can't remember the last time I stopped in here. I've been going to the location in the Queens Mall lately. I know I can get the same variety at each location. I've never had a problem with customer service. I know what I'm looking for ahead of time. I'm usually shopping for a gift. I attempted to make a return to your Harlem store at 112-118 W 125th Street New York, NY 10027, and the way the that I and other customers were treated was reprehensible! The woman at the door told me that I had to stand in line to get inside. I have never seen this at 441 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10017 nor at 304 Park Ave South, New York, NY 10010. My deductive reasoning informs me that your company is treating the customers this way because the majority population that patronizes the Harlem location is primarily African-American. read more

I stopped in today (3/9/23); and had a great experience as I browsed and shopped. From the greeting at the door to the checkout at the register. This is my "go to" location for my favorite BBW candles. It's right by the 2,3 trains and sits next to another favorite store (Victoria Secret.) The staff are very helpful and they know their products! Anyone on the floor can assist you with picking out some amazing smelling goodies for your home or body. I would definitely recommend this store location to friends and family. It's convenient, close by, and always has a good stock of whatever is advertised on the website. Avoid this place! Poor customer service! Both in store and online. I placed an online order for store pick up which they delayed in filling resulting in many of the items being sold out. Then they canceled the remaining portion of the online order for pick up. I was offered to repurchase everything at a much higher price. Scam! Avoid this business! Been shopping at this location since it opened. Always was welcomed with great customer service until receiving the worst check out process with the most rude and disrespectful cashier named Lisa. (On candle day, 12/1/23 at around 7:45am). I pride myself on being extremely nice and compassionate however this cashier made me feel as if I was aggravating her, her tone, body language and overall communication was very aggressive as if she was looking to argue! (That is something I do not condone or do). Looking to make a formal complaint to corporate regarding this one rude cashier as I would hate for her to treat any other customer this way. I had an awesome shopping experience in this location of B&B! They have lots of different fragrances in candles, body wash, cologne, body splash, lotion and shea butter lotion. I usually wait until the mid-year sale to get good deals but I was around the neighborhood and I felt very tempted to stop by and smell their fall collection. I got a promotion of buy 2, get one free in body care (got two body washes and one shea butter lotion), and 5 hand sanitizers for $6. The staff was helpful, the store was clean and organized, and the music was not as loud as other locations I have visited. Thumbs up to them! read more

Had the worst experience while I was at this location. I got a bottle of Bourbon Men's lotion...and it smelled like fish oil. There was a young lady by the name of Danielle Boxill, who was incredibly rude to me. I asked her sexy ass for her phone number and she proceeded to tell me that my lips were chapped so I definitely need to leave the store. She gave me no eye contact and when I asked where was the Golden Crust she said up my mother's ass. She also had a see through white shirt that was wildly inappropriate. read more
