The only answer I can come up with is the parking lot and location but now since I'm utilizing the gym in this area more frequently I made my way over to check it out! The parking lot is fantastic and there is a beautiful Sephora located inside. There is a decent variety of options for everything you may want. I was looking at the athletic wear. I even had spoken to a sales associate about an item I had found wondering if there was another available and she was very willing to look for me and even looked on the computer which I thought was very kind and thorough. There was a clearance rack wear I found some fabulous discounts and there were other sales going on. Some of the original prices may be on the higher side but if you know how to shop Kohl's I think that you can do very well. There are always discounts, Kohl's cash, 15 percent off senior day on Wednesdays,15 percent off military and veterans on Mondays ! Stop in a check it out. There was someone in front of me being assisted and I did not wait long. The staff member was very friendly, quick, and personable. The transaction took maybe 5 minutes. I then decided to browse the store since I was given Kohl's cash as part of my refund. I did not see anything I really needed though. The store was actually pretty big in size. Everything was laid out on the same floor and somewhat easy to maneuver. I went through so many departments. I think I browsed through all departments except for the children's sections. The clearance items were scattered in different places so if you were looking for a specific clearance or sale sign, you would be out of luck. The store was tidy for the most part and clean. It was also nice because there were barely any shoppers, which I definitely prefer. I wound up leaving after looking through everything because ya know, budgeting!

I brought in my items in on June 15, 2023 and I have not yet received payment for items that Dana, the owner, told me she sold. It took 2 weeks to put my merchandise on the floor initially or so she said. She does not allow you to pick up merchandise that does not sell and says it is donated which I question. How do I know what she is doing with all my donations? I asked to whom they are donated and she refuses to communicate or answer the question. Something is so amiss here so seller beware of this business and its proprietor Dana. I asked for the copy of her contract by mail, email and FB to no avail. She keeps saying she has sent it to me and I confirmed my email and she is still jerking me around. When she did finally send through FB after numerous request, I could not even read it as the print is so small. When I asked about the contract and questions pertinent to it, she practiced avoidance and is currently ignoring my calls and communications through FB. Most recently, I reached out to her on Friday, August 11th through FB and she has ignored me. I sent another FB communication on Monday, August 14, 2023 and asked for a courtesy reply and she is still ignoring me. All this does is create mistrust. Anyone that practices transparency and is professional, answers questions from a customer and does not seek to avoid answering specifics and ignoring the queries. Dana has proved herself to be unprofessional, recalcitrant and untrustworthy. She told me she will not donate all the items I brought in and will keep the more expensive items until they sell. That is no where in her contract and she does not provide any paperwork regarding sales on your items, what she priced it at and what it sold for and she makes you call up every month by a certain date to request a check or you do not get paid for you items. As far as I can see, she has stolen my items and has not paid me and it is past time. She refuses to communicate in any form so unfortunately my next call is to the police to report my stolen items. This game she plays has been going on for almost 2 months and it is not acceptable. She has not posted any of my items on her FB page since I dropped them off and some items are higher end. I wonder if she ever placed them up for sale to begin with. She has broken trust and I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH HER AGAIN. The Target beauty section is one of my favorite sections as it's always organized and carries a great selection of Fine'ry perfumes like the minis which are great for your purse or travels. Also, check out their accessory selection as they have a wide range of fashionable pieces that are great for everyday wear. You can't forget about their clothing area as they typically have a great selection of everyday to work wear and a huge swimwear selection that's perfect for any pool or beach day. Also, make sure you stop by their clearance area. They have a lot of great gems there. I spent thousands a year without thinking twice. Prestige counters. Designer packaging. The whole thing. So I honestly did not think Ulta would have much to offer me. And then I started browsing. Not five minutes. Not a quick glance. I actually walked the aisles for at least an hour. And fairly quickly, I realized there are lots and lots of makeup solutions to be had in there if you drop the attitude and just look. What shifted for me is this: it is less about the brand now and more about what the brand is going to do for me specifically. As you get older, your makeup needs change. Mine absolutely have. I am far more into healthy skin and healthy lips than I am into a bold lipstick. I hardly wear lipstick anymore because so many formulas dry my lips out, make them crack, and peel. I have also become more sensitive to certain chemicals, which has naturally slowed down my spending. I used to buy constantly. Now I barely buy anything new unless it really serves a purpose. And here is where Ulta makes sense. Drugstore brands have stepped up. Maybelline, for example, has dramatically improved their product offerings over the years. I would much rather buy a cheaper mascara and replace it frequently than cling to an expensive one just because of the name. Mascara tubes collect bacteria. I prefer to toss them often. And frankly, Maybelline has some terrific mascaras for the money. Just ask the Love Islanders. The biggest realization for me was that I am not brand loyal. I am result loyal. If something works for my skin, my sensitivity level, and my budget, that is what I am buying. It is high time I get over being a former Sephora loyalist and admit that Ulta actually makes a lot of sense for where I am now. Saving money while still getting what I need feels smarter than paying for a logo. My reasoning has changed. My skin has changed. And apparently, so has my makeup strategy.
