I can walk in at any time, and any one of the Gen Z girls... are extremely kind-hearted, so very helpful and helping me size my clothes. I recently lost a lot of weight and I had been basing my size off of my old plus size. The other week, I was in and I asked for a 2XL and one employee said, that I should try either a LARGE or XL in regular sizing. In disbelief that I could fit in those two sizes, I took them to the back and tried them on. To my shock... I fit very nicely in a LARGE .... Wow.... The girls tag-team each other so a variety of employees all help all of us in the dressing rooms... brilliant idea on the management's part. I cannot stress enough how accommodating these employees are for my age group (I am 56). I quit going to the other competitors in the Empire Mall, just on the helpfulness of each employee at this Maurices location. Each and every time, I'm almost near tears of JOY, leaving and I always make sure I personally walk up to the employees and sincerely thank them for their kind help. Bless you all.

I visited as a return customer to the Shoe Carnival in Sioux Falls due to a $19.99 boot sale…read moreadvertisement I received in the mail. There was amble parking and I was greeted warmly when I walked in, asked if I could be helped and was immediately directed to the variety of boots included in the sale. I was only in the store about 10 minutes before making my purchase and as they had three registers open, there was hardly any wait. I received a kind "Have a nice day" before leaving. I had one other store to run to and upon leaving that store, I realized that I couldn't find my smart phone. Panicky, I checked all over the second store to no avail, had a stranger assist in calling it and left my home number with the staff in case it was turned in. I knew I only had one other place to check and went back to Shoe Carnival. Again, I was greeted immediately by a different employee, Adrienne (I'm not sure if I have the spelling right) who asked me to describe my phone case and retieved it instantly with a kind smile. I could have cried! Thank you to Shoe Carnival, Adrienne and whoever turned in my phone. I am truly appreciative of this business and the trust I have in the staff here. I went from having a pleasant shopping experience to them making my day! Thanks again!

I would not recommend. i had a wax done and they were not thorough so I brought it up in a review…read more They offered a free wax which was nice, but every visit after the complaint they would be rude to me and even heard the ugly one with glasses say that's the one when I was walking to the back. I had the club orange membership which according to the waxing the city membership you can cancel via mail,email, phone, or in person. I called to cancel, and they said that it had to be done in person because they are independent and not corporate so do not get the membership with out knowing what hoops you have to jump through to cancel. When it comes to the actual waxes they were okay not nearly as good as I've had through European wax center, but sadly they are not a choice in my area. Would rather shave daily then deal with them monthly.
