We have three young children (ages 1, 3, and 6), and they have always been taught to purchase before opening any items. They do not open merchandise to take or steal it. I told the manager that if they could show me video footage proving one of my children opened the packages, I would gladly pay for the damaged items. Instead, I was told that "corporate called" and identified our children, but they refused to show any video or explain which child they were referring to. They continued to accuse us without providing any evidence. They also was unsure if it was our kids did it or not as they confirmed there were opened item before my kids walk pass the aisle. Being accused of something like this, especially involving young children, was upsetting and embarrassing. If a store is going to make such a serious accusation, they should be willing to support it with clear evidence instead of expecting customers to accept it without question. My 3 and 6 years old said they did saw the opened items, but they did not opened it. I hope Daiso reviews how situations like this are handled. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and accusations should be based on facts, not assumptions.

I always leave with someone when I visit this store. The employees have always been friendly when I've been here, many times there's an employee walking around the floor offering help or a dressing room if needed. The pricing for items is all over the place since it's a bunch of different small businesses - but I would say most of it is reasonable. And before I started spending money on my hair again, I used to get a bear hair color and do it myself generally and all over purple color, then I started buying colored deposit shampoo, as well as tubes of vivid purple colors and just use the smallest amount of hair roll it up with my finger, wrap it in foil and leave it in there just like they (the professionals at the salon) do. I've also and often purchased makeup products there, as well as earrings, all sorts of nail supplies, a waxing machine, so I can do my own eyebrows and upper lip. Not to mention all the items I need to color my own hair, paint my own nails, and everything else. It's very common for me to drop a few hundred dollars every time I go in there, but they do have a rewards system. So about every other time I go in there I get $5 to $10 off depend depending on how much I've spent last time &/or the time before. The staff is always very knowledgeable and helpful and spend a great deal of time helping me find items and explaining to me how to use them. I'm very fortunate because my particular Sallys is within walking distance from my house (not more than eight minutes) and it's perfectly placed between a Walmart and a Publix so I take a pull along basket and get everything done at once .
