As soon as we walked into Heal Yeahh, we were immediately greeted and felt welcomed. We have kids that love these kinds of shops and are always asking questions and wanting to explore; the owner not only welcomed us into the shop but was happy to appease our kids' incessant questions. Even though I was short on time, the team member did a beautiful job helping me and sharing recommendations for beginner witches. I knew I wanted to start a crystal collection, choose a pendulum, and pick up a few spiritual items. Normally, I like to research books before committing, but I purchased a couple on impulse. my only disappointment was learning afterward that BOOKS are FINAL SALE. I had been under the impression that unopened, non-creased books could be exchanged (not returned) within 10 days. There is a sign displayed, but the wording could be clearer. Had I understood that all books were FINAL SALE, I definitely would have compared prices before purchasing, made a different selection, and purchased only one book. I admire how they place bookmarks inside the books of purchase. The bookmarks double as their business cards, such a smart way to consolidate promotion & usefulness. I adore that unique feature. That said, the friendly service was amazing energy made for a wonderful experience. Witchery has definitely earned a spot on my must-visit list whenever I'm on the island.

Instead of handling the situation with kindness or understanding, a staff member made us clean it up ourselves. My sister was wearing a dress, and they still insisted she pick it up. To make matters worse, they made my young sister walk outside to throw the trash away herself. Accidents happen, and this could have been handled with basic courtesy and professionalism. Instead, the managers and staff came across as rude, unwelcoming, and lacking any sense of customer service. We left feeling embarrassed and disrespected. Unfortunately, because of how we were treated, we will not be returning. There are plenty of places in Galveston that treat their customers with much more kindness and respect.
