The installers get paid 3x the amount as any other installers in the market. The cabinets are marked up 75%. I created a design and compared our prices to competitors down the street who can get you a better deal. Some of these stores are kitchen and bath ideas, southern interiors, rite out, kiba studios, cabinets by perch, best choice custom cabinets.. and more. When I presented this information to my regional and the president of the company. I was told I am making excuses. When I was only presenting facts. They want that store to do 3 million dollars a year and say that it should be doing the same numbers as a store in California, Florida, or any other high market place. They say market does not matter about prices. They are way over priced... and don't care about their employees. Any review below this that says "Matt" was my customers and they fired me with no written write ups based on performance. I was the top sales person this year in the store at 300,000 so far and I was fired for performance. The President tells families with disabilities that it's no excuse to not drive to a business that is not answering our phone calls before you even clock in for work. The VPs get drunk and act super unprofessional at yearly meeting. So drunk they are carried out to their rooms or other misconducts happening with no forms of punishments presented to those involved. My regional didn't even know the policies he wanted me to fire the older man that was working with me and says things like "walk him to the pasture". He would then tell me to do it without HR approval. They don't even know the correct protocols so the regionals want to talk on the phone so there is no recording of them saying incorrect protocols to managers then they can blame the managers so they can sit behind a computer and not do anything all day and not have to answer for the performance of their stores. This is a high turn over rate company because people that suck up get rewarded while the people doing the right thing get punished.

One of the things that I loved was the size of the kitchen - but the countertops were most difficult to maintain, and the cabinets did not provide the flexible storage that I was looking for. The counters and metal cabinet bodies were original to the house which was built in 1962. The doors had been modified at some point (likely in the 80s or 90s) and were not original. I knew that, in choosing new cabinets and other finishes for the kitchen, I wanted to stay true to the aesthetic and design of our home, as well as work with the fabulous terra cotta floors that are in several areas. After extensive searches, I found what I was looking for at Cabinets to Go. When I reached out to their website for door samples, my information was provided to my closest store which is in Sherwood, Arkansas. I was helped immensely by Store Manager, Heather Higgins. Heather not only helped me really solidify my plan, but she was a great sounding board in some of my choices and really was with us every step of the way with this (except the backsplash - that was all me). Our choice for the Chelsea Linen European style was to draw in some of the tan tones in the floor, as well as to introduce blue into the palette. The countertop selection worked out well, since it has subtle touches of blue and VERY small pops of a brownish hue that pick up the flooring color really well. The backsplash selection was more difficult, but when I saw this tile on the Tile Shop's website, I knew that I had to go take a look at it at their Little Rock, Arkansas location. The colors work perfectly, and the design is absolutely something retro that fits in with the chronology of our home. Heather repeatedly made modifications as I would change my mind about certain things, listened to my concerns, and pointed me in the direction that really made the most sense. As you can see by the "After" pictures, my vision came to life very well. The switch from a range to a wall oven and convection cooktop has afforded us some drawer space that we'd not had before - and I'm sure couldn't live without at this point! Her recommendation for the contractor to work on our kitchen was fantastic, too. We highly recommend Cabinets to Go for your needs - whether you have a vision (and drawings, item numbers, and dimensions like I did) or are just starting on your renovation journey!
