My wife & I have had Sharam & BathMan handle a few projects in our older home over the past few years. The first time, after unsuccessfully having a relative set out to help us renovate our upstairs bathrooms. After being overwhelmed with the job and left with a complete mess we sought the internet to help locate an experienced bathroom renovator. After speaking with many, we decided to go with BathMan. Based on both our interview with Sharam as well as the BathMan ratings, we decided with Sharam, despite having to wait a start time due to his busy schedule. The wait was well worth our time, as Sharam & his crew delivered as promised, leaving us with two beautiful well crafted bathrooms. They started the renovations on the scheduled date promised, and finished the project in a timely manner. Being that I'm retired I was able to witness how careful & respectful Sharam and the BathMan crew were when working on our property, insuring each & everyday that any areas they accessed or occupied during the day were well vacuumed when leaving, & were left as if they had not been there. Something my wife very much appreciated. Sharam was both knowledgable & thorough, ensuring that any DIY shortcuts that had been made previously were proper & correctly installed. As well as being able to provide us with some excellent design ideas, products, & craftmanship. In the end, as mentioned, the bathroom projects were completed on schedule & most importantly on budget. We have since had Sharam back in our home to renovate the basement bathroom, as well as finish our laundry area, and tile our basement stairway. Again, Sharam & the Bathman crew delivered, providing based on our needs a beautiful basement bathroom renovation. It was once again completed on schedule, to satisfaction, & within budget. My wife & I have nothing but very good things to say about Sharam & the BathMan crew. They have been polite & extremely respectful when working in our home, with any minor queries being quickly remedied to our satisfaction. We are pleased with their work and have had no issues since completion. We appreciate them staying on budget & delivering as promised on all aspects of the projects we have hired them for, and more. Given an industry where one may feel that some renovation quotes reflect the value of the property, we felt the prices quoted by BathMan were very fair to what we felt was the high value we received. Please be advised that recently I have had three bathrooms completely renovated by Bathman as well as extra emergency plumbing repairs in other parts of the house. I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with Sharam. Prior to having my bathrooms done, I met with Sharam numerous times regarding the designs, fixtures, Etc. And have always found him to be easy to work with, professional, knowledgeable, pays attention to details and always willing to do extra to make me happy. The complete renovations and repairs were done on time and to my satisfaction. Furthermore, I have ask Sharam to completely renovate my kitchen and this work has been scheduled for August, 2018. Again, Sharam and I have met and worked on the design and that has been completely to my satisfaction. I went ahead and picked out my appliances, and Sharam was kind enough to do all the purchasing and paperwork required so that they would hold all the appliances until August when the renovations will commence. All this required close consolation and agreements on numerous aspects, he was always willing to go the extra mile to make me happy and have the package complete. In the future, I'm looking forward to working with Bathman and again to renovate my laundry area as well as installing new plumbing in my entire house. I am a senior 77 years of age retired 12 years from the youth Justice section, provincial government. I have spent the last 10 years continually renovating my home and have had many contractors and house doing various jobs. I have had to be very careful on who I hire do these jobs and I've always looked at contractors from the Better Business Bureau. Bathman has excellent ratings and specialized in the field of bathrooms, kitchens, Etc. It was difficult for me to find someone so knowledgeable in this field and trustworthy. I'm glad I chose Bathman to do all my work and I'm confident in him, it's workmanship and his trustworthiness. For a senior it's difficult to find contractors who are experts in their field, and take pride in their work and trusting. A couple of weeks ago, I had a major leak into joints of my old copper piping in the ceiling which was leaking badly, so I called Sharam and he immediately came over and repaired the pipes. It all began back in 2008. We needed to get 2 bathrooms renovated. We stumbled onto Bathman & thrilled to learn he does all the work himself; he does not sub-contract out. He listened to our ideas and also made some recommendations. We were very pleased with his workmanship, attention to detail, and every night before going home he would vacuum & clean all around him. He would also "vacuum" up the dust as he was doing drywall so the rest of our home had minimal dust. In 2009, we called him back to do a full kitchen reno with all new cabinets, sink, counter top & drop ceiling. His workmanship and professionalism are consistent, every day we came home to a "clean" home; this work took 3 weeks. We were absolutely ecstatic with our new bathrooms and kitchen. We had so many positive comments from family and friends at all the suggestions & little details Sharam did for us. In 2011, we decided to re-do our partially finished recroom. Smoothed out the ceiling and walls, removed the carpet and replaced it with laminate. The recroom now looks fabulous and we thoroughly enjoy that space. Last but not least, in 2012 we had the laundry, storage, workshop room updated as well. The ceiling was finished, he installed a whole new wall of cabinets for storage, another wall with kitchen cabinets and counter top for when we entertain in the backyard. The laundry area with cabinets - finishes it off real nice. Everything is now clean & organized. We have total faith and trust in Sharam/Bathman. He has also helped with smaller jobs/fixes. In 10 years, he has done 5 major rooms in our home; Anything else that will need to be done in our home - he will always get the first call. We contracted Bathman for a complete kitchen renovation project in our 50-year-old house that involved removing everything to the studs and upgrading the electrical and plumbing before installing new flooring cabinets, counters and lighting. We first heard of Bathman through our network of trade professionals as having a reputation of doing very good work. We did ask for a number of quotes from various other contractors. However, when Sharam came over he listened carefully, respectfully and was full of ready ideas and solutions. He came back with an excellent plan and we felt confident that he knew what he was doing. As with every renovation the goals change as you discover unexpected things about your house along the way. Sharam was never fazed. He always thought through the problem and came back with sensible and cost-effective solutions that worked and kept the project moving forward. Bathman has completed two fixed-price renovations to our 22-year-old house. The first was our ensuite bathroom including new flooring, tiling, shower, tub, sinks, countertop, cabinets and lighting. The the second was a kitchen reno including new flooring, sinks and garburator, cabinets, lighting, tiles, and paint. We also relocated two major appliances and installed an island with electrical outlets. In both projects we found Sharam and his team a pleasure to deal with. The quality of workmanship was very high and Sharam's commitment to customer satisfaction shone through constantly. For example, the people who hauled away the old appliances left marks on the hardwood floor of the room adjoining the kitchen. Sharam offered to (and did, in fact) sand and refinish the entire room, even though it was not his crew that created the marks in the first place. In both projects, Sharam's long experience in kitchen and bathroom renos was invaluable as he consistently came up with good solutions to the inevitable technical and design challenges that crop up in any major reno. He also has a good sense for style matching and we let him select bathroom mirrors that went well with the rest of the project decor. I was very pleased with the work Sharam and his team did on our basement suite which needed a renovation. The work they did was superb. The bathroom was thrown together by the previous owner and Sharam had great suggestions on how to make better use of the space and make an attractive bathroom. They gave a reasonable quote and kept to it. While doing the renovation he discovered that our water shut off taps to the house were broken and he fixed that. Every night they left a tidy work space and they always told me when to expect them and when they were leaving. Sharam did an excellent job renovating our ensuite bathroom. He is very skilled and takes great pride in his work. His employee Amir is also very qualified. Every day the team cleaned up, no mess was ever left behind. The job involved plumbing, tiling, electrical, drywall, painting and installation of the fixtures and was all done by the team. We have owned a lot of rental homes, but never have we come across a professional like Sharam. His work is always excellent, completed on time and for the price we negotiated. (I had a bad experience with another contractor who would disappear suddenly for a few days off and on before the job was finished). Sharam was easy to work with. We had Sharam do a bathroom renovation for us almost 5 years ago including installing a new shower enclosure and tile work. We have been very happy with the work done and it has held up very well over the years. We recently needed to have the caulking updated and contacted Sharam who came the next day at the time he said he would.
