Went to warranty some batteries after 2 months. Not a big deal and they come test them. Kid is like I don't know a lot let me get someone else. No body else comes. He then tells me to take them out so they can replace them. As soon as I do that they magically don't have them. So I asked for new ones and to put the credit towards them. He says no problem then comes back and again they don't have them. So they offer a credit back and I go inside to do that and again magically they some how don't offer credits. read more

I'll talk about the price last, but first, it's about customer service. My battery died this morning in my Ford Escape. A friend, after jumping my car, recommended Batteries, inc. It was a bit of a drive for me and there were countless Auto Zones and Advance Auto Parts within minutes of me, but I trusted my friend and drove down to Batteries, Inc. I was immediately met by the owner, I think his name was Jeff, and his wife, I think her name was Jennifer maybe? He had me pull in my Escape into the bay and proceeded to test the battery and do a load test. The battery was at or near the end of life but because it died, I knew it was time. I took a breath waiting to hear how much it was going to be. I had been paying $150-$200 for batteries over the past couple years from the chain auto parts places. The price I was quoted was under $100. "Are you sure?" I asked? "Yes" he said. "Is it a used battery?" "Nope he said." He explained that he buys in bulk and doesn't have the overhead that the retail shops do. In under 10 minutes, the old battery was out and the new battery was in and I didn't have to wait for the employee of one of the chains to wheel out their tool cart and fumble trying to figure out how to change the battery out. Jeff again tested the new battery, alternator and did another load test to ensure the new battery was working. The car started right up. The low price was appreciated, but the customer service, which is what I specialize in in my business," was the way businesses USED to care about their customers. For that reason I wanted to write this review and praise this couple for the great service and of course, the very affordable great price. I am most assuredly going to buy batteries from here from now on. Only one note. The business is in a small industrial section of Hoffner with a bunch of little warehouse businesses. You may need to make a couple turns within the little complex area but you will see the sign eventually. They also sell wipers, and the owner said they hope to be doing tires soon. read more

I use to go to this company in the past to get reconditioned batteries for my car. The batteries that they sold me would last 3 years or a little less which was GREAT. However, up in the later years to 2019 and forward, their batteries did't last for more than a year which I found very strange since the car I own has my car battery go in the trunk which is much cooler than than the engine compartment. Florida heat is the primary killer of car batteries. Cold weather is the lesser of the killer during the winter months here in Florida. After buying 4 more reconditioned batteries from Batteries Inc, they all went bad within a year. I talked to the owners about this which is a husband and wife team and they both told me that their reconditioning process for their batteries had not changed and there must be something wrong with my alternator that charges the alternator. So I had my mechanic check my alternator and it was working fine. What they told me was total BS. I use to work for a car and truck battery company in the past and know the tricks to shorten a reconditioned car battery's life span. The truth is is that they stoped doing full reconditioning on their car and truck batteries so they could make a higher profit for themselves by INTENTIONALLY shortening the life span on their reconditioned car and truck batteries forcing their customers to come back sooner to buy another reconditioned battery. They no longer are about producing quality reconditioned batteries but instead producing batteries that last a year or less so they can make more $. The funny thing is the last 4 batteries I bought from them, they kept trying to get me to buy a new battery for my car instead. Go figure. Bottom line is the owners of Batteries Inc are all about $ and could care less about quality reconditioned batteries like they use to 6 years ago. How sad it is that greed took control of them. Highly recommended to not buy reconditioned car or truck batteries from Batteries Inc since they stopped selling high quality reconditioned batteries but instead started selling low quality short life span reconditoned car and truck batteries. I finally quit doing business with them and went to a more reputable company that SELLS HIGH QUALITY RECONDITIONED BATTERIES instead. read more

This is a great company! They were knowledge and helpful. We needed 4 batteries for our golf cart. The staff was very well informed and guided us to the best product. They were able to obtain the batteries, even tho they had to make a special trip to Kissimmee to obtain the 4th one. This is "above and beyond" service! This place is the cheapest prices and the sweetest people. I literally made a yelp account so I could give them this review! I walked in and got help immediately and the guy remembered me when I called got me a battery for $50 which is unheard of and gave me a year warranty on it. I have subs in the back of my car so it's hooked to my battery and the guy replaced it battery and put all my pieces back on in no time. Then I went inside and talked to couple I assume was married that owned the company and they made me feel so at home and even gave me a notepad and a pen for doing business with them and thanking me for my business.
