This store is supposed to open at 8:00am, but did not. I called the Snellville store to see if I could get any information and was told that these are independently owned and he had no information for me. I watched as other customers tried to enter the locked doors of a store that should've been open for business, then leave. Finally at around 8:40am, a guy pulls up in the company truck and saunters on in. I wait about five minutes to let him get the lights on etc. before I walk to the door. This guy knows I'm there and knows I was waiting for him. I mean, I was the only one in the parking lot and parked right in front of the store and he parked right next to me. Still, I waited a few more minutes for him to come to the door. He finally comes to the door, opens it and while blocking the entrance says, "How can I help you?" I just look and then he invited me inside. Wow. I should have just turned around and left right then and there. He was so unprofessional and plus didn't bother with wearing a mask. He did a battery change for me and I got out of there. There was no acknowledgment of not opening the store when it was supposed to or the fact that I waited so long (which I should not have). I will never go back there. I'll take my business to another location. I hope that wasn't the owner, but he was driving the company truck. What a jerk. read more

I've never felt the need to leave a bad review but honestly I'm upset . I got my phone fixed from here about a month ago and the screen went out! It didn't crack , it had streaks in it and the screen was ghost typing. I went to a different repair place closer to my side of town called iRepair (midtown location) & they fixed my in 45 minutes. They also informed me that whoever fixed my phone last time FORGOT to take the film on the inside off the screen. Which inevitably led to me having to pay about $200 to fix it. I won't be returning ever to Batteries Plus Bulbs & I suggest y'all do the same. Hire thorough and competent technicians please. If Apple wasn't closed due to corona, I would've just gotten my phone repaired by them and saved the trouble . read more

Do not get your keys made here. Prepaid for the key and cutting. They cut the keys and said it's not going to work because it's too long. They kept the cutting fee and refunded the price of the key. Was not notified that they would keep the cutting fee. This is the second time and should have known from the first experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. It's better to go straight to the dealer and get keys made. Lifetime batteries are not worth it!!!! You can go ANYWHERE and buy batteries for CHEAP!!!! read more

Very nice people at this store and it's very well stocked with batteries and bulbs. They no longer handle recycling fluorescent tubes though (for free - they do charge $0.48/foot for disposal) and neither does Home Depot. Just an FYI. read more

I have to admit, i don't really look for or expect much of a customer service experience when buying batteries. I mean, they're batteries. 35 years old, and I continue to be surprised every day. This place has great customer service! I needed 3 lithium batteries. I was about to buy individuals at $8.00 each until the salesguy suggests a 12-pack for $26. Ummm, i don't know if I'll use 12 lithium batteries in my entire life, but $$$-wise, this is a no brainer. He also cross sold me some triple A batteries that were 50% off. Wait a minute...are these things old? Why so cheap? Nope! He made sure to point out the expiration date on all the batteries I bought. Thx awesome sales guy! Way better than radio shack. I've been to this location a couple times and never had a problem until today when I came to get my watch's battery changed. When I gave my watch to the worker for its' battery change, I got it back with a lot scratches on it that weren't there before. When I noticed this I came back into the store to tell the worker that they damaged my watch, but they said that they don't have the tools to fix so it has to be sent to a different store for it to get fixed. It's just inconvenient for the customer because I have to leave my watch and not have it for a month for a tool that the store does not have. I just think that the store should have proper tools to carefully replace things like batteries. read more

My friend had traveled all the way from Statesboro, GA to visit with us and wanted to buy 2 batteries for her handicapped power scooter while she is here. She said the medical supply store near her home provided her with the wrong battery and her scooter died in a short while after using it. Immediately, Battery Plus came to my mind to help her get her next battery. I called up the store in the morning and told them the type of battery we needed. The sales person, Roberto, said they have the batteries in stock and we could come by at any time during the day. I also found a coupon on their website that we could use to save $10 on our purchase. We went ahead and bought two batteries of 12V each. The coupon was honored at the store and the sales person did something way beyond the call of duty. Since my friend is handicapped, the sales person had helped to install the two new batteries on her chair at the store. Wow! What great customer service. The two staff there were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We are so impressed that we said we are definitely coming back here when we needed some batteries. Each battery was $87 each minus the $10 discount coupon. My friend is very happy with her purchase and is blown away at how helpful the staff are. I went ahead and bought me a new battery for my power backup to keep my laptop running. The sales person knew exactly what I needed and I paid $38 for mine. I had a 10% discount from my other coupon to apply it to. Overall, we are all very happy with our purchase. We will be back, for sure. I was a little disappointed in the fact that they don't carry the battery I need for the cell phone. The store is clean and well stocked and the staff are wonderful, the clerk tried to order the battery I needed but was unable to. I brought my iPhone into the Duluth store to get the battery replaced. The woman tried two different batteries which did not work. She put my original battery back in the phone and that one no longer worked as well. The manager Clay to me it was a software problem and there was nothing he could do. I left upset feeling that they were responsible but did nothing about it. I returned today to speak to the manager again who attempted to fix the issue again. He could not fix the phone but told me he ordered me a new phone to replace my old one. I feel better now. I can now recommend this store as they were willing to make things right. I purchased a car battery around $250 online, I went to store to pick up. It has a five-year free replacement warranty. I also tried to return a flashlight that I had purchased some years back. It also has a lifetime warranty and was told at time of purchase to bring it back in if anything goes wrong and they would replace it for a new one, no questions asked. I found out that's not the case. They kept telling me that I didn't purchase it from there. I actually did purchase it from this location. Another associate the following night, showed me on the computer where I purchased it. The store owner said that it would cost me $10.00 to replace it. Due to they no longer carried that one and the one that was comparable was $10 more than what I had paid and that I would have to pay the difference. So I asked for my money back I was told no, that he would not do that. I was repeatedly lied to. Telling me I was not in the system when I was. If they won't stand behind the small purchase such as the flashlight, then how am I to believe that they will stand behind a $250 battery without trying to charge me for an up charge because they don't stock the same battery anymore. So I had them to refund my money on the battery. Real smart there Mr. Owner. I don't know of any other store that handles thier warranty this way. It's pretty bad business. I don't know if it's just this one location with this owner or all Batteries Plus stores, who knows. The owner called me after I called the 1-800 number and Corp. office contacted him. He offered to replace my flashlight if I purchased the battery. I agreed. The problem here still is now I have a flashlight with no warranty and I also lost my rebate because when I first purchased battery it was last day for rebate. So they still pulled one over on me. Tried to use them to have some key fobs cut, big mistake! First visit,guy cuts the key then tells me my key fob isn't the correct key fob for my car. (I brought key fobs I purchased on internet) Second visit, guy tells me he won't cut the key unless I'm willing to pay them to program it. I don't need them to program it, I can do that myself. I had a battery I had a battery that was not on a charger that was on my 4-wheeler and it ended up dead and Dan at the Buford,Ga store said it should have been on a trickle charger. So I had to buy a new battery even though the warranty is a one year warranty. I had to have a battery that day that's why I bought another one. I'll never buy one from there again.
