My Xbox 360 was shutting down with two flashing red lights. Google suggested an overheating issue,…read morebut it was barely warm, so it looked like it wasn't just an acute case I'd be able to cure on my own, but a hardware compromise. Unfortunately it was way out of warranty, and it'd be $140+ for Microsoft to fix it (not to mention how long it would take to ship it and wait for them to repair it). Surprisingly there's few local options for game console repair, but I found Apex online. Its in a barely-noticeable industrial office strip but the owner was friendly and clearly knew what he was doing - he had shelves full of consoles he was repairing, and another guy showed up to have his Xbox fixed while I was there. After explaining my options (short-term fix vs. long-term fix), the owner fixed it the same day and covered it with a 90 day warranty, which made me pretty happy. One quick note - their website says they charge $50, but thats ONLY for the short-term fix, which he explained involves redoing the soldering that has cracked from the heat and caused this particular issue. In other words, if you want to get your 360 working again for cheap even if the problem reoccurs, that's your option. If you want "the works,' which includes having them install a better-quality cooling fan and replace some parts that aggravate the overheating issue caused by Microsoft's shoddy design, then it's $100. That's still cheaper than Microsoft or buying a whole new console. I will mention that the fan they put in is LOUD. It doesn't bother me yet since I use a headset when I play, but if you watch Netflix or DVDs on your Xbox you will definitely notice it all the time. The owner said if I want to switch back to the stock model fan, I can do so under the 90 day warranty he gives, but I haven't decided whether I will. All in all, if your Xbox 360 is on the fritz and out of warranty, Apex is your place.

This store ran an Instagram advert, and I noted they had good pricing on both screen replacement and battery. I inquired and was responded to within 5 mins. We set a time range for the next day, I went to his store and am very impressed with Nadar's service and pricing. Was a good guy who is fluent in both Spanish and English (dual passports). I value quality service at a fair price and this place fits the bill. On some sites it noted they are open until 8, but I think it is 7pM. I asked the owner about the one poor review and he noted that his father had passed away out of the country and couldn't get anyone reliable to service the store on that day the review referenced. So I hope this 5 star review can continue to counter balance the one poor review. I will continue to come here for my cell phone service needs.

He was extremely helpful and gave me a new case for my phone. He told me the Samsung A models were built to be discontinued in the future and it would be best if I were to get an S23,24 or 25 when/if I decide to get a new phone. He said the A models only last 2 years which is correct. He told me I could bring my old phone in and transfer the data from it to my current phone or if I wanted to wait until I got a new phone, they could transfer the data to it too. Best PC Haven said the charger was fine, ordered/installed a new part to plug into and returned my laptop for $120. Except the problem was not fixed. It was still exactly as I described when I dropped it off the first time plus the new, added problem of no sound (he'd forgotten to reattached the wired when he opened it up). I took it back and he kept it from Monday to Saturday without looking at it or initiating the return of the new part, which he said he was going to to. After I followed up, on Sunday he reattached the sound wire and said he just initiated return of the new part. I questioned him via text because he said he would order the part on Monday and almost a week had passed. Within an hour, he said my Dell laptop was now "fixed". Now the part wasn't the issue but it was the power cord. He had an HP cord that he was giving me "at no extra cost" but no refund for the new part which at this point appeared unnecessary. I took my laptop home and when I rebooted, got a warning about the power cord that could slow down operations. Understatement!!! It is barely usable now thanks to Best PC Haven. If I try to scroll my email or search or explore a website, the little circle just keeps going around. I can say with no hesitation that taking my pc to him was a huge mistake. And as a side note, the whole operation is unprofessional. You stand at the front door to give him your equipment and pick it up. And at least in my case, he clearly didn't test it after he worked on it to make sure the problem was solved and that he had not created new and worse issue.
