I needed batteries, and they were about to close. We were working wild land fire, when are the batteries gave out. I was speaking with a gentleman who was about to lock the door his name was Steven. He stayed at the store waiting on me for 30 minutes to get there. The batteries were on the counter, after paying for them, he helped me load them Into my truck. Paid for a battery for my phone on a monday was told by person #1 that it would arrive in a week, by Friday. Friday comes along, no call tel let me know it had arrived. Person #2 said it wasn't there, had no way of tracking it, or finding out. Person 3 on a Monday said it would arrive in another week (2 weeks since I ordered) because they don't even order from their freight until Sundays. He also said that Person #2 had told me that. Person #1 also said he wanted me to give him permission to access my camera and files to make sure everything was working, once the new battery would be installed. What on earth would they need access to my private stuff for? I called a phone repair place, same day and lower cost than battery plus. Battery plus cannot refund me either unless I am in person? Like other 1 star reviews indicate; don't expect this place to actually honor any warranty. I brought in a battery that was just a few days past 2 years old. The battery has a 3 year warranty; almost a year left. But they won't honor the warranty. Little child working at the counter took my battery & said he wouldn't want to try & charge it, because it was obviously frozen & the sides were bulging out. He said he'd have wait for the manager to come back, then he'd call me. Apparently employees can't do anything without a manager holding their hand. The child called me back after a few hours of waiting. Said the manager decided they weren't going to honor the warranty, or do anything about about it. So I went & got the battery back. I'll definitely be contacting the manufacturer directly, as well as corporate. This store is a joke & the manager is an incompetent stain. I thought I needed a new battery for my laptop, but the person helping me told me that the problem was the new Windows 11 operating system that was recently added, not the battery. He told me to be patient; eventually, upgrades would remove the bugs. Indeed, that's what has happened. The advice didn't cost me a penny, and saved me much heartache. I was stranded at the river w/ my 3 dogs because the battery on my car clicker was going dead. Car alarm was going off & the car shut down in theft mode. 30min later I got the car to start & headed straight here. Very unhappy with their cell phone repair. Took my brand new iPhone in to get a crack on the screen fixed. Phone was working completely fine prior to them fixing it. Afterwards my home button now clicks loudly when I press on it. They claimed they didn't do anything, but I know otherwise. Do not go here to get iPhones fixed. read more

I purchased 2 Sasco light bulbs from this store on October 14. The bulbs did not fit in the application in our home so I returned them for credit to the store on October 30. I showed the front desk checkout my credit card charge from the store from October 14. He then went on to say that he could not see any history for sales on the computer past 2 weeks plus the store has a 2-week return policy therefore I was too late to get a credit return. Last year I had my iPhone battery replaced by the pros here. They were very professional and helpful. They made the replacement quickly and answered all my questions. This year when my poor phone flew out of my cold, cold hands and landed on the frozen sidewalk I went straight back to Batteries + Bulbs to have the repair done. Friendly But Incompetent (atleast for phone repairs) I needed to have my screen replaced after a drop and was incredibly disappointed by the fact that I had to go back to them 3 times in 2 days because of their faulty work. They were confused about the inner workings of an IPhone and led it to be completely unusable until after THREE attempts of bringing it back in. Once they were done "fixing" my phone I had to call them and ask how the repair was going. They had forgotten to notify me that they weren't fully done with it and were going to have me wait until the next morning. As my phone is my one way of communication I thought enough was enough. I took my phone home and now I plan on going to somewhere else for my business. I wish I would have read previous reviews! read more
