Went for new batteries for vehicle fob. Tech checked out the fobs the batteries weren't low he cleaned out moisture from inside and they both work great now. Soooo nice and no charge for that service. So we bought two new I phone cases from them. I love batteries + I bring watches for new batteries and our alarm fob for new batteries. The worker I got the pleasure of dealing with was so patient and kind. I had told a friend that I have an angel for my tree that my mom gave me before she died, and the bulbs don't work anymore. I said I didn't know how to fix it. She suggested I go to this store and see if they could fix it. Sure thing...I called before going in and the guy was super nice over the phone. So I went on in and he saw me hiding the angel and helped me right away. He told me one of the bulbs was out and td me how to fix it. He didn't charge me either. He was so kind and caring. Very un-helpful. I took in a rechargeable battery to buy a couple more. The clerk asked what voltage the battery was. I had no idea so he just gave me the battery back and told me to go figure it out. He certainly did not want to put any effort into helping me. It took me about 30 seconds to find the battery online and have it shipped to me. However, today, my 6 yr old son and I went in with several hallmark ornaments left to me from my dad who passed away earlier this year. The 2 young guys seemed off... 'stoned?' Or just slow. I was the only one there. They said they'd have to charge me a premium on batteries, singles because usually labor is involved. I offered to do the labor myself which I did. I took 3 batteries to test in 5 ornaments, each takes the same 3 batteries similar to car remote alarm batteries. I was in a rush, but other customers came in and the guy left me waiting. I asked if I could get those batteries so I could install them myself while he helped the new person since i was there first and they kept leaving me to help others... no response... then another guy comes in and he goes to help him, I ask if he can open them like the regular guy does for me... ignored... at this point I asked again to help since I was there first and my son has to go to the backroom... he told me I could do it at home if I didn't want to wait... this sucked... my son was excited to see them working... I was there first... then another young guy that worked there and said "you can be patient, we're busy..." jeez! I'd be gone already if they'd have not broken away multiple times!!! I asked for the managers card... I was told they" we don't keep the managers card..." I held it together in front of my son but in 3 yrs coming here I've NEVER been mistreated as much as I was today. consumer beware!! I bought two high end automotive batteries $360 a piece, from the Modesto CA, Batteries Plus because of there warranty. One went bad the other is OK, I brought the battery in and they said because the car sat at the airport for two weeks it voided the warranty. I went home read the warranty. It says 30 days of non use and the battery has to be over 10 volts, and it was 12 volts when I brought it in. I copied the warranty and brought the battery back in and showed them the warranty. The employees contacted the manager now for the second time and all they can say is we reserved the right to determine if the battery was maintained. And we will not warranty your battery. They said I could come back when the manager was there. During the three visits I made two other people were there having the same problem, the last visit the other customer's battery was seven months old and in the replacement time period for the battery and all they would say is you did not maintain your battery, he said I drove the car everyday. After hearing his discussion, I left with out trying a third time.--- don't trust there warranty and I would not buy a car or marine battery from this establishment read more

The website does not list the country of origin for their motorcycle batteries. The store sold me untested battery, needless to say when I got it home and installed found it to be bad. Returned it to store only to find the other battery they had on shelf was bad also. Two bad batteries on shelf? Found out they were junk Chinese batteries. They were unwilling to upgrade me to an American made battery ($15) difference since it was a warranty, same day return. Very deceptive advertising on website so BUYER BEWARE. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The batteries were very heavy & he loaded them in my pickup for us (also took the cores into the store for us). UPDATE: So it's March 2023 now, and I've moved on to an iPhone 13 and gave the "fixed" iPhone 11 to my brother who's been wanting an iPhone. Thought it would all go well until one day he accidentally dropped it. Afterwards, the phone only stays on for 2 minutes and then dies. We took it to Apple, and they told us that since I went to a 3rd party store (this one), a common problem is that when repairing things like this they sometimes don't fix the battery properly. That's why that one drop pretty much made the phone useless unless fixed again. More money down the drain, ugh... Luckily, the T-Mobile store nearby was doing a deal where if you traded in an eligible iPhone, you can get an iPhone 14 for half the price! Too bad my brother didn't buy iCloud. He probably had some important files, pictures, contacts, or porn saved into that phone. Oh well. I feel bad that I did not ask the name of the gentleman that helped me but just look for the person with the biggest smile. He listened to my problem with my iPhone (I cracked my camera lens on my phone) and within minutes had it fixed. So I usually always go and give this place my business for light bulbs and key batteries replacement. Well my daughter wanted LED lights, and so we bought some a couple months back. Well they didn't work and we never put them up, a cord was missing or something. I knew on the receipt that is states you cannot get your money back after 14 days. My iPhone 6 wasn't charging, so I brought it in for a new charging port. Before installing, they checked first for dirt/lint build-up in the charging port. It took them a few minutes to clean it out, but, holy cow, it was all it needed to connect properly and charge! This was a free service, and I appreciate Robert and his staff's honesty that the port didn't need replacing. This is my second time here. The first was to replace my phone's cracked screen and get a new battery installed. That was months ago, and I've had no problems with either since then. Don't buy from this business. I ordered an AED battery on March 20, 2022 and was told it would be 2-3 weeks before it would arrive. I waited several weeks and heard nothing so I called and no one got back to me. I waited a few more days and called again and 3 days later received a phone message stating my battery should be in the next day. Again, no calls so I waited 2 days, called again and was told it wasn't available yet and they had not idea when it would arrive. When I asked for a refund their system would not work and I have to go down to the store to get the refund. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE business practice so they have lost my business. read more

I purchased 2 wheel chair batteries. They said the battery's would be under warranty till June 2023. The batteries were dead so I took them back and was told they have to have 10 % life left in them. I ask how would I know that when they just stopped working! I asked to talk to the manager, they said he wasn't there he would be in on the weekend. I also asked them to call and they looked at me as if they were scared to do the call. So went back on Sunday and asked for the manager and again not there the guy who was talking to us talked in circles again too. ***READ THE WHOLE REVIEW BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY . Don't ever go to or support this fraud ass company !!!!! Let me save you a bunch of money, time, and headaches! I bought a brand new Duracell battery for almost $200 9/2020 only for it to leave me stranded & asking for jumpstarts here & there WHILE HAVING MY 3 MONTH OLD BABY !!! I called a mechanic to look at my car & alternator to see if there was something killing my battery all the time & he ran tests & said my car is in perfect condition & has full power . He recommended me to take in my battery since I had got it 10 months ago & paid extra for 3 year warranty . I originally had bought it from the Stockton location but I was in Modesto so I brought it in & explained what happened & Jaccob immediately says well if it's under 10 volts your warranty is voided & there's nothing I can do at that point. I said well it's been dying on me a lot so I'm sure it's really dead & he instantly blamed it on my car saying it was draining the battery. He didn't offer any other options until another coworker came out & said well we can put it on the charger for you & try that route & if your battery charges back up to 10 Volts or more then my warranty is good . I asked how long it will take because I had to get to work the next day & didn't know if I needed to find a ride or if it would possibly be charged by then & they shrugged & said they didn't know it depends on the battery. So I left the battery there & called back The next day to ask the status on it & they said it's still 0 volts .... now , what does that tell you guys ??? it's a faulty battery that I got stuck with. I already ran tests on my car that came out with nothing wrong. I tried to explain that to them & then Jacob started to talk to me like I was dumb. I hung up & called back the Stockton location since that was where I originally had bought it & by that time the Modesto store had already communicated to the store manager Anthony so he automatically took their word for it & was against me. He was laughing at me when I was telling him My frustration & how I have a baby & doing this all on my own. I was just trying to get a replacement battery not trying to fight or be rude or cause problems . They were bouncing me around telling me to call corporate , call this store , call this person , call that person , HANGING UP ON ME making me call back to re-explain all over again to another rep wasting 4 hours of my day to get nowhere. I ended up having to call in to work the next day to get my battery situated . I called back to Modesto store who still had my battery charging & got ahold of Shannon the Modesto store manager , she said it was charged up to 11.6 Volts . I thought Perfect & was instantly relieved That my warranty was still good , she said she needed to call Me back in 30 minutes to make some calls about the warranty . She called me back and gave me the stupidest excuse on why it wasn't going to be honored . They switched up their story & said nope your warranty is still voided because you brought the battery in under 10 Volts LOL !!! I SAID YEAH BECAUSE IT KEEPS DYING !!! They originally told me if it charged up to 10 volts , my warranty is covered & now that it charged to 11.6 it was still voided cause nowwww the excuse is it was brought in under 10 in the first place ?! DOES THAT MAKE SENSE YOU GUYS ?!? I said okayyyy so what do you want me to do ? take the battery back home & bring it back tomorrow with it at 11.6 & ask for a replacement & Shannon said nope it's voided & I'm going to put it in your notes in case you do try to do that so that it will not be accepted ! You guys, I was so so so frustrated & goddamn mad at that point !! I am such a good & honest person that tries to do right & get stuck with a shitty battery & all for them to screw me in the end & lose out on almost $200 .
