I originally went to repair all and after watching the white guy try to make some extra money on a customer by lieing and then charge me a deposit after him coworker already ordered my part, I figured I'm not bringing my phone back. They start high and change prices later if u ask. I'm so glad I found Modesto phone repair. Jon was incredibly honest and tried to salvage my phone first before switching any foreign part. When it didn't work we went to plan b and when plan b didn't work he said he tried everything but too much damage was done. He didn't charge me for labor. I appreciate his honesty. Update on review , this is not how you treated my wife you guys made her feel stupid and that's why she got upset you also tried saying we broke it when it was currently working fine you stated you did everything to work with her but you offered to put the original screen back on which had even more damage then prior, you except some not to get mad or be frustrated when you go and tell us to go go Apple but yet never told us it was after market until we went to Apple and the worker told us why they could not proceed with diagnostics since there system would flag the screen , also update : every since getting the screen fixed phone over heats and the screen was poorly installed , phone is kept in a case at all time with zagg screen protector and we noticed the screen is lifting up as if it was not installed correctly, the screen protector seems to be higher quality then the display screen , no solution was provided and you treated us poorly , you state we made communication difficult when you didn't offer communication to begin with if it was either you or your worker you just wanted to kick my wife out and put the screen back on because you didn't want to deal with her don't state that you tried to do everything you stated when you did nothing like I said save your time and don't came here at all , all these point in this response is just literally bs . This guy will fix the screen but won't tell you any underlying problems once you pick it up. Went home to see my front camera wasn't working, for him to tell me that it's on me and went to go put on my original screen, for it to be in worse condition than it was coming in, and was already giving me a refund and telling to take it to Apple. Because doesn't want to deal with a "headache" after trying to understand why. This guy will make decisions for you without talking it over with you. Waste of time when you come here. read more

Update: originally I gave 2 stars and a not so happy review (see below). However, my husband returned and let them know how I felt and showed them their work. They were SO friendly and apologetic. They let us know that most likely they forgot to remove the film on the other side before install and would fix it right away. Our iPad looks great now! I will definitely be returning if any of our electronics break. 2/16/2020: Guys are super friendly but my husband just got home with our iPad that had a screen repair today and for $90, I am SO disappointed. Yes I have a screen that is no longer shattered but there's air bubbles and finger prints all INSIDE! I've cleaned and wiped it over and over and the marks and bubbles are definitely inside. Like who wants their screen to have finger prints and bubbles inside and constantly looking dirty. I can't believe they thought it was okay to give to a customer like this. read more

Very unhappy to have ever stepped foot in here. I had a chance to have the bad side of this business. Brought my broken screen phone, they repaired it at a cheaper price than anyone around. (Should have just went to a more reputable place.) The phone screen they installed was already different than oem. Then the face recognition didn't work, and then the finger recognition wouldn't even work at all. Not to mention that the phone would glitch out randomly and more often than needed. I was going back and forth to the store and seeing what they could do. In the back of my mind, by the way the phone was acting, it was definitely a knock off cheaper screen they installed. Then after they supposedly did a software install, I went back and checked it out and knew right there that it still wasn't recognizing to use fingerprint lock and was still glitchy, but he insisted for me to take it home to have my wife (it was her phone) to try the face recognition and it will work. I didn't want that liability on me to have that screen break on me too so I kept arguing with him that I would rather take my old broken screen back and money and go somewhere else to try and fix it. They insisted that I take it home to try it out and that it was fixed. No it wasn't, I called him that day again and told him that it still wasn't fixed. Told me to bring it in. Low and behold, within my day of going back, the phone screen broke. Never wanted that liability to begin with and now, of course won't give me my refund back to try and fix it elsewhere because of the issues. Wasted about 5 trips there and home for a headache. Save yourself the trips to this place. It's not worth it. read more

Needed to fix the back glass panel of my Samsung Galaxy S10+ and decided to drop by. After some questions the total for the fix would be $62, which I think is not bad although I have no idea of the usual prices. The only thing I can possibly nit pick at is the fact that after the repair there was a little bit of adhesive on the back, but honestly that is nothing you can not get off yourself. Overall they are very nice people and really gave me as much information on the whereabouts of my order as they could. They even called back in the guy who does the actual repairs as I had missed a call from them telling me he was ready. Great little business and I will always return to them whenever I need any type of repair. read more

Went in on Monday and got my daughters iPad fixed. Picked it up a few hours later. As she was using it tonight the home button completely broke and moved upward to the point we can't even use it. Spent over 100 bucks to have her stuff fixed just to brake 2 days later. I will be calling and speaking with who ever is in charge because this isn't okay. Don't go to these guys they scamming people I bought a new screen for my iPhone 8+ with these guys that was noticeably cheaper than my old screen and only lasted a couple months until the bottom half of the screen was unresponsive to touch again.
