On line research shows I could get one for under ten dollars and then pay shipping, track the package, wait days to a week. Let's try to get one TODAY! Went to BP and the substitute nominclature was found. The cost was eye opening like an "ufda dude", but then a quick calculation even with my delayed math skills shows, it' a little cheaper than on line because no shipping charges and I'll have the battery NOW. After the employees informed their laptop service was limited to battery replacement, they not only suggested a local repair shop, but took the time to print out the address and directions to the recommended repair shop. Employee thought it was battery issue with my cellphone, and replace the battery and charge me $75, come to think of it, it's not. Also he told me I need a software update, I ask him to connect the Wi-Fi and check if he can update the software, but he told me they don't have Wi-Fi in the store, which I don't believe it. read more

Went to have battery replaced in my watch today. Glad I stayed and watched him attempt to replace the batteries in my watch. I saw the tech loose the screw to the back of my watch. He looked around for a moment and could not find it. He took the new batteries out of the watch and informed me that he didn't know how properly put batteries in the watch and initialize the watch. When he handed me back my watch the missing screw was still missing. I asked him if was going to give me back the watch with the screw missing? He stated the screw must have come out...wrong answer. You lost the screw and didn't look for it until I mentioned the screw was missing and he looked for it again and found it. That is poor customer service 9/5/2108 Took my watch to a professional watch repair. Watch no longer functions properly. There are pieces missing to watch as well. Watch has never been opened before taking watch to Batteries Plus. Went back to Batteries Plus and informed that watch is no longer working properly discussed with manager Sean Flinck and his resolution is sending the watch off. May take up to 8 weeks, informed him I'm from out of town. I will not be here in 8 weeks. No other resolution offered. Asked for corporate number and he told me to Google it! Bait and Switch I called the store after the company website instructed me to do so to determine the availability of a $45 motorcycle battery. I asked the store employee if they had the battery, giving him the model number from the company website. I was told by the store employee, "We have three." When I arrived at the store they rang a battery up for over $90. When I asked what had happened between the time I called for the $45 battery that they had three of and when I arrived, the same employee I spoke with on the phone said, "We didn't have three of that battery, we had three of this one." Do not use these guys for iPhone screen repair!!! It was bad from the moment I walked in and I wish I would've left and paid the 20$ more and gone to Apple. I brought in my 6s for cracked screen. They said it would be 2 hours, no worries. They looked over my phone with me and made sure everything was working properly and confirmed I only needed a screen replacement. I came back in 2 hours and they handed me my phone and said it was ready to go. I looked it over and the home button wasn't clicking or turning my phone on. I informed them and they said, "oh ok let's look". They said maybe they put the screen on too tight and we're just going to loosen it. 15 min go by and they hand me back the phone again and say. "It's ready to go". I look it over and again the home button is still not working. They take it back again and open it back up and fuss with it. The store fixes its phones behind a glass wall so you can see and talk to them. I'm standing and watching cause now I've been in here for 30 min. The guy fixing it seems confused and keeps opening the phone and fussing with the wires. I'm watching him and every time he opens the screen he places the screws on a rubber mat with individual sections, and uses a magnetic screwdriver to get them out. ( I want to clarify the details) By the 5th time he opens and closes the phone and hands it to me and tell me it's fixed. I check home button and it works but he has forgot to put two screws in. I tell him and he laughs and says sorry. He puts the screws on and hands it back... the home button doesn't work again and I hand it back. He and I are getting frustrated as now it's been another 20 min but I came in with a working phone and will leave with one. He finally gets the screws at the right taughtness and the all buttons and screen are working. 1 hour later I pay 110$ and walk out frustrated and annoyed, wondering if there were screws that didn't get put in or other issues since they had no problem handing me my phone without testing it or anything. I get home and make a call and my speaker phone doesn't work and when I hold it up to my ear during calls the screen no longer blacks out (as to not push buttons during calls). The screen is dim and can't be seen at certain angles so I know they used and off market screen for replacement. I'm stuck with these problems because as soon as you walk out they take no claim as to what happens even though they looked over the phone with me before the repair to confirm all working order. So save yourself the trouble and spend the extra 20 and do the Apple Genius Bar for repair!!!! read more

I had to have my S8 front glass\screen replaced. They also replaced the back too (for just the part fee) and so far I am very happy with replacements. Like new. Staff was extremely friendly and polite. Service took about 4 hours. Very knowledgeable staff and they didn't want to rush the process to make sure they got it right. With $10 discount this was the best deal around for replacement glass on S8. I would happily recommend them for any cell phone repairs. And bonus - I got a great deal on some LED bulbs too - 2 bulbs for just 99 cents! Thanks! read more

I went there and had a screen put on my daughters iPhone. After a couple of days half the screen quit working. I went back and asked for a refund but was asked if they could just put another screen on. I agreed to give them another chance. After about a week it started having issues again. I then emailed the store manager 2 different times asking for a complete refund and never received a response. I am one to always give a business a chance to correct an issue, but the lack of the common courtesy to even reply to my email is unacceptable. I am deeply disappointed in Batteries Plus. I brought them my old battery from a travel trailer to replace. They chose the replacement which I bought for $200. I could not get it to work, so I took it to the place where I bought the trailer. They told me it was the wrong battery and put in a different battery (not from Batteries Plus). When I tried to return it Batteries Plus would do nothing. So I'm out $200 and will never shop there again. read more

The young men who waited on me were polite, personable, and attentive...which often is NOT the case when you are nearly 70 years old and don't really understand a lot of how things work. I had my phone repaired.. smashed screen.. and when I picked it up the same two young men and a young woman were there and once again... The best!! I was not impressed with my first visit to this establishment. Prior to arriving at this establishment I received an email hours before telling me that my order was ready. So after my morning online class I drove down to pick my order up. My expectation was I would get there, show all appropriate IDs and order information, and then I would be handed my order, in a bag, easy peasy. What I got was an employee who first struggled to find my order in the computer. Then when he finally located it had to go pull it because it was not even bagged and ready to go. Then to my annoyance he doesn't bag my order. He just lays my batteries on the counter as if to say , here you go, and then just stands there. I begin examining the batteries to make sure they were the ones I ordered because initially he didn't even print me out any kind of receipt. Instead he asks me if I had received one in my email. I told him I did not recall. So then he prints me out one. What? Regardless if I got one in my email or not, shouldn't all purchases come with a receipt? Then to further my annoyance my examination of the batteries I received revealed that one of them had clearly been opened already. I questioned the employee about the open battery and he tells me that he was the one that had opened it the day before in error, for some reason that he gave, but he insisted it was still good. So giving paying customers, obviously opened products, is okay here? I had somewhere to be, and didn't want to make more of fuss, so I just accepted my order. I asked for a bag for my items, which I was provided, then I left. I did not like my experience with this place. And as I got in my car, I realized I was bothered by the fact he gave me an open battery and I did not like myself for accepting it. If I could do this over again I would have asked for a new unopened one because it was my expectation that the item I was paying for would be in new, unopened condition. Even before I left I asked what the store policy was should I have any issue with these batteries, like what guarantees did I have, the employee's teammate snipply chimes in and says "There are no guarantees." I was then told something about a 14 day policy. By this time I was truly over this place and just wanted to leave, so I did. I doubt if I will return here. Don't ever go here! They are rude and don't honor their warranties. My son has a iphone under warranty and we've had to go back to the store a half dozen times because they continue to give him inferior replacement parts and service. The first time we just wanted them to replace a broke screen but they broke the phone. They replaced that phone with a refurbished piece of junk and we've gone back multiple times to have it fixed or replaced because it never works right. These guys are jokers that don't stand behind their service agreements. Their mantra seems to be, "if the customer has a warranty, wear them down with crap until they don't want to come back again". My first experience with this business and I have had two different experiences. My first visit was the night I needed a battery for my vehicle, service was great and they fully explained what I needed to do in order to get the credit once I brought the old battery in. They also kindly informed me that they would swap the batteries out for free. Since was car was dead in my garage, I put the new battery in, however the brackets would let tighten. So we rigged it enough to drive it and the next week brought the old battery in for the credit and asked them to tighten the brackets to properly hold the battery. There was only one gentleman working that night who knew the job. Looked like the other staff were all in different stages of learning. I'm fine with that, however don't ask an untrained person to provide customer service without being supervised. The young lady trying to help me had no clue how to perform the tasks he was asking her to do. He left her to try and figure things out and things did not go well. He eventually came out to provide minimal guidance, with attitude. The way the untrained employee and customer, myself, were treated was not professional nor appreciated. Worst customer service ever. Took watch in for battery replacement. They broke the back off and after several visits to have them fix it, they finally agreed to replace the back. This took several weeks and then when the watch was returned, it didn't work. Response: Not our problem - we only were responsible for replacing the back. This store will have our business for many days to come. We have had numerous visits mostly related to cracked screens on our phones. The staff at this store are knowledgeable, friendly, fun, extremely helpful, and patient. Our questions have always been answered, and the work has been done well, and in a timely matter. Our most recent visit involved a cracked screen on an Apple watch. Toby took the lead on this for us. It took some time as we had to send it out, but the communication was maintained, and when it was done everything seemed perfect. A couple of weeks after we had picked up the watch we noticed we were not able to swipe the screen anymore. We called and explained. Toby said she would look into it and call back, and they would absolutely figure out a resolution. Within 5 minutes we had a return phone call with the news they would be replacing our watch with a new one, and what color did we want. We were shocked, and extremely grateful for this kind of customer service. We want others to know this is a store you can trust and count on.
