I was on vacation and needed a battery charger and fresh battery for my digital camera. The…read moreclosest option was Batteries Plus. The people there seemed perplexed by my request. I did bring my camera with me. They sold me the correct battery and a "universal" charger (only one they had). I made sure it fit in my camera. I asked them to try to charge it before I left because I got the impression that it had been on the shelf for some time. They couldn't get it to charge, and said their port wasn't really reliable, but assured me that I could return it to my local store (in Jacksonville) if it didn't work when I got back to the hotel. When I got to the hotel and plugged it in, I saw no indication that it was charging. When I tried again the prongs that slide to accommodate the battery broke. I had been very gentle, as it looked flimsy right out of the package. I tried rubber banding the battery into the charger and still no charge. I'm out $99. When I got home and tried to return it I found that most locations were closed in my area. I found the closest one on Beach Blvd and they took the charger back but wouldn't take the battery and only offered store credit. It makes no sense to drive back to the store where I got it while on vacation as it's 5 hrs away. Not impressed to say the least!

I have forever seen these batteries and bulbs stores, but never went in one because really cant you…read moreget this stuff at Home Depot or Walmart....but I was wrong. My bulb on my oven went out and it's some sort of fancy schmancy bulb that is now discontinued according to the man at Batteries and Bulbs, but wow is this store amazing. All kinds of car clickers and batteries for lawnmowers and tractors and golf carts and bulbs for everything except what I needed. But the store is totally cool. I will no longer goof on the store cause this place has the hard to find stuff for sure.

by no means do they fix phones. brought a phone in for a quick screen replacement (you'd think…read moreyeah?) no. I've now been to that location on 5 separate occasions. First to come back since my speaker phone was not working after replacement, which fun enough for me they were short staffed and just felt like closing an hour early that Saturday. failed to tell the person with a phone they were in possession of. Better yet - they were gonna be closed until Monday. They're such a joke. Got my phone back to them to get the speaker fixed and they broke my vibration. Brought it back to be fixed and they're YouTube how to fix it. Shocker, they can't fix it and let me know to come back when their boss, Nicholas running who offered to buy me a drink when all of this went down. Tragic excuse for customer service. They do not fix anything, I am $150 poorer, I am several trips of gas poorer, and completely and utterly shocked this company is in business and people walk inside.

I have never been more disappointed in a local business than I have with Ponte Vedra Golf Carts…read more I was forced to go with PV Golf Carts because their competitor, North Florida Golf Carts couldn't get straight when they were supposed to come pick up the vehicle - review of N Fl Golf Carts to follow. The Bad: 1. they charge for pickup and delivery - $40 including tax round trip - seriously, this should have been a clue to me 2. service (+2 minor upgrades) took a total of 3 days to complete! 2 days just to tell me what needed to be updated. The UGLY: ****in a mailer coupon (which is the reason i considered them to begin with), they offered $500 rebate for 2020 Club Car, 20% OFF "your choice of 1 Accessory", or $30 off Regular Service which is normally $105. If you read the fine print, you cannot combine any of the coupons. ADDITIONALLY, as an 'accessory' i had them add on turning signals and break signals $299 (+tax value) - when I told the bill collections girl on the phone i wanted to use the 20% for the turning signals 'accessory' that i just had put on, she said that it was a "SAFETY FEATURE" and not an "ACCESSORY". that would have been helpful to know in the beginning what is defined as an "accessory". In addition, bad business/bad customer service is arguing your advertising minutia with a customer over an additional $29 discount - it's the principal... The WHY I'LL NEVER GO BACK, and why I'll tell all of our friends who own a Golf Cart NEVER to trust PV Golf Carts: ****as I mentioned prior, the Regular service is $105, but when they call you regarding what they found wrong with the cart, the total for me ended up OVER $2,000 in repairs. Everything from replacing all of the batteries for ~$1000, to suspension bushings (which i knew were still good since i just lubricated them), and they even tried to sell me a battery water re-filler for over $200 which i also just purchased prior from Amazon for $30. Talk about your nightmare mechanic tactics!! What do Integrity, Customer Service, and Honesty all have in common? Answer: none of these characteristics exist at Ponte Vedra Golf Carts. Please be on the lookout for my follow up review of PV Golf Carts on Facebook - in the Nocatee Community Board, on Google Reviews, and on my report to the Better Business Bureau.
