When…read moreit was time for one to pass over the rainbow bridge she came to my house with a vet tech and put her down in my arms. And gave me the chance for one more sleep with beloved Daxie. Several puppy's later. I have a Lab that has seizers and he is on meds that have stopped the seizers. I saw her at a store yesterday and when I said hi, she asked how my boy was doing. She remembered me and my Boy and asked about his seizers. She has a great memory! She is without a doubt the best Vet I could wish for!!!! She is definitely an Angel sent from God. Keep doing what you do Dr. Waterman. You are awesome! My family and Bundy appreciate You!

I loved Lawndale Vet. But I can tell you the moment it changed for me…read more Sometime in December 2025, Dr. Tricia Burnett left the practice. No warning at all to her long-time patients. This is when it changed. I am acutely aware of this because a few months earlier she had walked me through the fatal heart condition of my rat terrier. And she know rat terriers because she has one. And I was so glad to have her with me, alongside on this journey, as we ented into my dogs last stage of life and a treatment plan. And then Dr. Burnett was just gone. No warning, nothing. And since then I and my three pets have been bounced around between vets labeled Dr. Staff Veterinarian on appointments. No consistentcy. And the brother to my elderly rat terrier also got ill, and the service has been atrocious. I have been told by one of these visiting vets how much they typically don't like rat terriers. I have been told I have to wait for "my" visiting vet to come back on staff to interpret test results before meds are prescribed for a sick dog until the next day (the results were there) because it was now 5:00 and the new permanent vet wanted to leave (I got this in a text) when I had called earlier that day for results. So I'm just sad. I have two elderly dogs who have received 10 years of really great care from Dr. Burnett, but now that they are dying, Lawndale Vets is turning their back on them. If anyone knows if Dr. Burnett has taken up with a new practice, please let me know?

Dr. Magnotta was her first vet and she was great! Ver compassionate and took very good care of Millie. But she left not long ago and I was nervous who would be Millie's next vet there. Shep, our other fur baby began his visit there and Dr. Barker (ha ha) was his vet. She was just as awesome! Shep is older (black lab, about 15-16 yrs) and has trouble with his back legs so we needed to find a solution to help alleviate his pain. He wouldn't go up and down the stairs at home nor the ramp we built for the back deck. Anyway Dr. barker started him in Adequin shots and I swear Shep was a whole new dog! So now Mille and Shep both see Dr. barker and I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a vet. Bottom line, the staff at Guilford Jamestown is wonderful and compassionate people and we will continue to make them our primary vet!!

Our dog has ear problems so the first vet was helpful but on the follow up visit a different vet looked at our dog. My wife came home and cried because this piece of crap made her feel so bad. Run from this place,,,,,

Since they only deal with cats, you can be sure they will get the attention they deserve. I had a senior cat that had a great deal of joint issues. They provided laser therapy that eased his pain and made the last year of his life exponentially better. I had him for 18 long and great years, I didn't trust just anyone with his care, but the Cat Clinic was the one place I felt cared about him as the sweet old man he was and not simply what profit he could bring. If you are looking for a group of people to make your fur baby feel the same amount of love as you do, this is the place! Additionally, I just adopted two sweet kittens yesterday from The Cat Clinic!

Please do not bring your beloved cat here if you love your pet! My cat Ethan, has been seen there…read moresince October 2022. We've had 8 visits, and have spent over $5,000 there. His diabetes has never been worse off, since we started being seen at the Cat Clinic. His doctor, Dr. Beachy never followed up with him despite his blood sugar reaching close to 600. As a result, he has developed chronic pancreatitis. A very painful condition for my cat! I filed a complaint, the office manager, Dustin contacted me afterwards, and apologized...stating, "historically, this is not how they treat their patients but that Dr. Beachy was the only vet there for a long time, as the other had moved out of state". I expressed that's no reason for my cat to have suffered. He was very apologetic, and was in agreement saying, "their behavior has been inexcusable". Dr. Slava had just started there and agreed to take Ethan on since she did not have as many patients. Dr. Slava is actually pretty amazing, but, she's moving to Florida, soon. I called (5/16/23) because Ethan is in pain and declining since we were just seen once again last Friday. Unfortunately, Dr. Slava is out of town due to an emergency. Dr. Beachy is there. Dr. Beachy gave the same advice advice she gives when she's too busy to see patients, "take him to the hospital". Last time, she gave this advice, it cost $1000... and all he needed was fluids. Something they're capable of doing. I give him fluids at home too, but wanted him to receive it over a few hours to flush his pancreas, and to be looked at by a vet. I was upset that Ethan was getting brushed off, once again. I was told, by Autumn (5/16/23) "since you don't like our advice don't come back here!". When I called to speak to Dustin, I was informed he was out of the country...and that, they'll be emailing me all of my cat's records. This is complete abandonment of a patient that I have spent over $5000 there in almost 8 months for them to take care of. If anything is to happen to Ethan, I will hold the Cat Clinic fully accountable. A screenshot of l've spent on Ethan there, since March ($1200!). Plus, the $1211, in January to have 8 tooth extracted! Dr. Beachy never even came out to meet me after surgery. I contacted his vet back in Missouri yesterday (after the Cat Clinic abandoned Ethan) to see if she would refill his Gabapentin (Horton's Animal Hospital (South) in Columbia, Missouri). She would not refill his medication because he NEVER had pancreatitis issues when see there for years! The Cat Clinic caused his chronic pancreatitis!!! Right before Dr. Slava left town on an emergency, she changed his insulin to Lantus. Now, he's on a new insulin that requires monitoring and the Cat Clinic has abandoned my cat! This is complete negligence and malpractice! These people should not be in business! If they can treat my cat this way after receiving thousands of dollars, they'll treat yours the same way! Run!

If you find a lost pet, do NOT take them to Southwoods!…read more I found a sweet dog late one night and immediately grew attached. Wanting to do the right thing, I had him scanned for a microchip at the nearest vet, Southwoods. He was chipped--and that's when things took a disappointing turn. The staff at Southwoods told me they were legally required to keep him, even though I offered to foster him until the owner was located. I gave them all my contact information and asked them to pass it along to the owner. I offered to keep the dog at my home in case the owner reached out. They refused and insisted he could not be returned to me. I later discovered that Guilford County Animal Services has a Stray to Foster Program, which encourages good Samaritans to foster found pets during the stray hold period--and they even offer support and supplies. I wish I had known that beforehand. Southwoods also claimed they would take the dog to the shelter the next day if the owner didn't come, and that I could possibly adopt him from the shelter after the hold period. In reality, they took him to the shelter the same day. Based on this experience and the misinformation I was given, I would not recommend taking found animals--or even your own pets--to Southwoods. Please consider going directly to the Guilford County Animal Shelter or following their Stray to Foster guidelines if you find a lost pet.

The care my babies have received is priceless. Not literally....they've cost me tons, but the quality of care has been worth every penny. The love and compassion they showed when I had to put my first two babies down two years apart was how it should be done. Knowing that they care makes an absolutely devastating experience manageable. They're special people (and fun)! I've always enjoyed going just so I get to see and talk with them, and over the years, I've had to go A LOT. I trust them and I appreciate them more than I think they'll ever know.

Groomer: Bad, really bad. I personally pay far more attention to negative reviews than positive. They tend to be the most honest and also the most relevant. Then again, that groomer was professional. Referencing challenges to a job does not serve as a disclaimer for any mistakes that are made. In fact, it does the opposite. I do not recommend this place, whatsoever. To all Veterans who read my reviews, thank you for your service. Have a safe and joyful July 4th.
