Case in point, changing your beneficiaries. 4) My Edward Jones account seriously underperformed relative to my other accounts (see #1). Specifically, the performance between January of 2016 into the fall of 2017 was so poor (in my estimation), and the response to my complaint about it was so conceited, and so dismissive that that was when I choose to end my relationship with Edward Jones. 5) Directing my account myself, putting my money in something with returns that matched my expectations was expensive (see #2) 6) It cost me about 3% of my account value to roll over my account to another investment company. UPDATE: I got what I thought was a final statement. It turns out Edward Jones didn't rollover the total amount in the account. They shorted it about $51. I still have a login at EJ, but that account is not connected to my login account anymore - just an old one that was terminated about 5 years ago.

Not done - I was bullied by a representative when I called and decided I will just let this go and pay them. After the max amount they can garnish, no contact from them. Here I was waiting on a statement so that I can move forward. I received a notice from the postmaster that a cert letter to be picked up by "Sentry". i called and was informed that a second round of garnishment is in process. the next paycheck - sure enough they started taking monies again. AND the next day another envelope came as like the first time (I have not opened this one yet). I am not sure what my next step is - but I believed I have been bullied by this Company who are abusing their access of personal information and processing "legal paperwork". I am currently researching legal wage garnishment process and so far I am finding that they are not following the legal process. Anyone has any input or added information, please keep posting. AND during my conversation with SENTRY Rep - this person wanted me to tell how much is my reported income on last tax return??

I am retired & have been drowning in medical bills since 2013. They will file court papers in a heartbeat and not even follow the laws regarding this type of business. They will lie about paperwork being "delivered" to you - court paperwork with a date that a reply is required by the court and conceal the fact that it is legal paperwork so that they can win by default judgement and add on all kinds of additional fees, etc. if they are reported and it is decided by the appropriate agency that it is uncollectible they will to remove the debt from your credit report and the agency you filed your complaint with CANNOT force them to issue a refund, etc. In my case, I paid the principal balance plus their bonus and it still was not enough . They are absolutely sneaky and greedy. Be very careful if you receive any legal paperwork from them and go on the web to ensure that their court filing meets ALL of the requirements they are bound by law to adhere to. I understand that people need to work as we did our entire lives - but what kind of people would enjoy hounding and threatening sick people on a fixed income?
