Well, my taxes were filed without my consent electronically on 6/15 which I then found out with letters from the state and IRS I was now in default of previous payment plans.. when I called Exclusive to enquire what had happened I heard, oh the documents were in my bin to file so I just filed.. and now I'm left to figure it all out because the hours the tax preparer (I won't add her name) is having to take to call IRS and she never phoned the state (or I was told she tried) is extreme obviously and it's my fault I guess because I did owe taxes from past years I have been paying. I received a deflecting email a week ago and all I've asked for is a refund and my 2023 taxes.. a week went by so I emailed asking for both then was only advised to retrieve the tax documents from their portal and I'm not sure how to do that when they are not there only 2022 is there. I emailed back and no reply. Please know if you're thinking about using Exclusive on Huguenot Rd ... you may wish to use someone who can actually say they messed up and they are sorry and how can I make this right instead of excuses and sending me on a wild goose chase for tax documents not even uploaded yet although they can file without my consent.

If you ever brought a home you know how important it is to have clean tax paperwork. Unless to have a single W2, I wouldn't recommend going to these Liberty and HR Block tax places. I used to do that and I still believe I overpaid one year which prompted me to pay the extra money so my taxes can be right. If you are in the Richmond, VA area, I highly recommend AJC.
