Warning! unfortunately we have not had a good experience from this dealership after buying several vehicles over the years. I recently got taken in by the 0 percent finance offer and rebate offers advertised. once in store I was told I could only have one or the other which is common, however my vehicles value 2017 Ram which blue book trade was 17-21K. They further said well since we are giving you 0 percent we will offer you 12K trade in. feel free to look this up. Apparently you are just a number to this location. Sad but after years of being customers we will go somewhere with better customer appreciation. Done with this dealership. They are poorly managed and completely unorganized. Stay away!! I found a nice used car for my 16 year old son online and gave contact info when using their trade in estimator. A salesman called me in the morning to set up an appointment to come drive the car. Repeat, he called me. I told him we were coming from out of town and he said it would be ready. When we arrived, the salesman was busy with another customer, and pawned me off on some poor kid who started trying to find the keys. Come to find out, the car had just left on a 2 hour test drive. One of the guys behind the big raised desk area where the secret computers are, sales managers I guess, asked if I wanted to hang out for a couple of hours to wait for the car to return. Lol. So we left disappointed, and went to look at a different car which we ended up buying. Driving home, I get a text from the dude at Baxter saying the car was back, but the guy is coming back later tonight to buy it....but it's still available right now if I hurry in! Omg!!! So his plan was to disappoint a second customer on the same car. Guess it doesn't matter how much of people's time you waste, and how many 16 year old kids you disappoint, as long as you get that sale huh? I've bought several cars from Baxter over the years, but for whatever reason the LaVista Jeep store has been a joke every time. They also said that I had other things that needed to be done that we're not broken . Because of the age of the car . Considered getting things fixed until 2 weeks later when the check engine light came back on and the gas cap light came back on . And when I asked them they said it was a different problem although I took it in for those reasons . They scammed me out of $2,500 . And then refuse to back up their warranty . It's been over a month of trying to get someone to respond back to set up an appointment. Many promises of being contacted but never hear anything back. I've had terrible experiences with Baxter sales at two locations. So, I'm assuming this location is no different, but this review isn't about sales. Long story short, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, especially if they need a truck for their livelihood, but if you want to hear the full story, continue reading. I scheduled an appointment for 7 am April 1st. I took the truck in the night before so it would be there right away in the morning for them. I work in the area, so we had drove by multiple times on April 3, 5, and 7. The truck never moved, and they had called me on the 2nd and 3rd, asking to keep the truck longer, which would be fine if they had been working to diagnose the problem. Whats the point of scheduling an appointment if the truck isn't going to touched for 6-7 days? Finally, on April 8 they called and said they knew what was wrong with it and one of the parts was going to take 10-14 days to get. I asked if warranty would cover it since I was on a 1300 mile trip when the problem started, and the truck was about 1000 miles over warranty. Service person wouldn't even try to see if Ram would cover repairs. I called on 4/21 around 430 pm (13 days later), asking for an update, they said part will arrive tomorrow, only takes an hour to install, should be ready for pickup tomorrow. Called again 4/22 around 430 pm (14 days later). First time I called, someone picked up and transferred me to service, it rang for over a minute with no answer, and then phone went to a voicemail. Called again, someone answered, same story, part tomorrow should be available tomorrow. Called again 4/23 (15 days later). Someone picked up and transferred me to service. Was put on hold for approximately 7 minutes. This person told me the part is backordered, part will be arriving next late next week. I started getting irritated, service lady said she'd let me talk to manager, and he basically blamed everything on corona virus, including not touching the truck for six days. I get this virus is no joke, but thats an easy excuse. Don't schedule appointments if you can't fulfill your obligations for 6-7 days. Now, I'm no expert in shipping, but I buy a lot of stuff online, if something ships and is supposed to arrive the one day, and then the next day, back order doesn't mess with that. In my experience, if its back ordered, it'll give an expected in-stock or shipment date, not an arrival date. I called 3 other dealers, each of which told me they could get the part in 6-7 days, and it was not on back order, hmmmm... Almost seems to me like someone didn't order the part, or a more frequent customer brought their truck in with the same issue and put my part on it. On day 20 of waiting on the part. I called again to get an update. First time, transferred to service, rang a few times, hung up on. Second time, initial phone person never picked up after 2 minutes of it ringing. Third time, transferred to service, was put on hold for 11 minutes, service appointment person answered, couldn't give me any updates and would have someone call me back... Not expecting to hear anything back because when I had left voicemails previously no one ever called back. Day 21 of waiting for the part (day 30 being there), never received the call back that I was supposed to receive shortly after calling yesterday. Not surprised. Will update after I call later today. I use my truck for a couple of different side jobs and many other reasons. This is unacceptable, and I am losing money because of this terrible stealership. BUYER BEWARE! Do not purchase vehicles from this dealer, I purchased a 2017 Audi A4 in 2020 thinking that because this is a big dealership I wouldn't have any issues, well I was wrong. I brought the vehicle to Carmax to see how much it was worth and they told me that the odometer had a rollback, this is such a big thing that Baxter never disclosed to me, also I'm pretty sure it illegal that they didn't and it takes a huge amount of money off the cars value. After I found out about this I went to speak to the sales manager, his name is Todd Anderson and he told me that there wasn't any issues with the car and gave me a copy of the title, that's when I noticed that the mileage on the title didn't match the one in the car, I then went to the dmv to see if they could fix it and they denied everything even though I had the title for when the dealer purchased the car from another state and the newer title for when I purchased the car. The mileage was wrong on both titles by almost 2k miles, I don't know how the people at the dmv didn't see and fix this or how Baxter keeps denying that they did anything wrong even after 2 years. Another issue is that they offered me a warranty that would give me free oil changes for 3 years and some other stuff, so I went ahead and purchased it. I went to get my first oil change and everything was fine but at my second oil change they told me that they didn't have the equipment to perform the oil change so I asked the service representative, how did they do the first oil change and she said that she didn't know and that the mechanic who did it didn't work there anymore, so she basically told me that they weren't sure if the oil change was even performed on my vehicle or not, for all I know I could've been driving with old oil and this could've affected my engine. This place is pretty much a joke. Everyone is friendly & the price is fair but since no one is capable of delivering complete & accurate information, it's a wonder they sell any cars at all! Sales Manager #1 wasn't able to give me a single piece of information about the car (other than providing a CarFax report) for a week without receiving the VIN from the car that I was trading in. Enter Sales Manager #2 who not only needed a week of his own but then every piece of information had a price or cost included that didn't add up or match what it was supposed to. He finally put me in direct contact with the parts person who turned in fewer mistakes than everyone else who then handed me to Sales Manager #3. Fortunately his job was simply to take my money so it couldn't get worse, right? Now I show up to buy but the Sales Contract is completely wrong & he doesn't even know that I have a vehicle to trade. I've driven 3 hrs to get the Jeep & sat around waiting for corrected paperwork for another 1.5 hrs when I get introduced a head finance lady to hhandle the "final vehicle transfer" but she doesn't have the correct info related to the extended warranty that I selected AND doesn't include the title pepper work before sending me back on my 3 hr drive home...which brings me to Sales Manager #4 who gets a title clerk involved to send this paperwork after the date that I was told they would get it to me only to find out that IT WASN'T SIGNED BEFORE THEY MAILED IT. Now I get the joy of sending it back & waiting for them mail it back to me a 2nd time while driving around with expired temporary tags on a car that I've already started making payments on but can't even register in my name, not to mention the lost days taken off of work.(although I should have received pay from their dealership for having to audit every detail of everyone job) Seriously, how hard could it be? I dropped off my jeep for cams lifters and other engine work. I never revived a call the vehicle was done. On top of that they left work unfinished. This is an insurance job and they STILL left certain areas in the red. Like transmission fluid rear differential fluid was in the red. After you work on an engine it's usually necessary to change the oil and filter. They sure charged me for it but the work was NOT done. And I attempt to make it seem like they did. They didn't even put a sticker in the windshield. I've been trying to call with no response. They never called me to give me any updated on my vehicle. The paperwork handed to me in saying the Recommend all the things I've have fixed be re fixed?? Along with other big recommendations I didn't even see or hear of until looking through paperwork. So it had to towed from our home and now has been in Baxter shop literally over a month!!! I am so upset cause it always a different story or a different day it will be done! Just moved to the area and have a habit of keeping up with the maintenance on my vehicles. Took our late model Jeep to this place and requested an oil change. To my surprise they were doing buy 4 for $80. $20 per oil change isn't too bad. I purchased this deal, (now realizing oil changes may be the only thing they may be confident in doing) and requested to have the cracked marker light ordered. The customer rep said "we'll have it here in a couple days and will put it in for you for free, the part is $37." This worked due to me heading out of town for a few weeks. Came back a few weeks later; no call, no email, called them to check on it to find it wasn't even ordered yet. First visit, was disappointed but just ordered the manufacturer part from Rock Auto for around $8 and put it in myself. 2nd visit: Millage is getting high so needed another oil change and requested them to do a coolant flush, transmission service, and differential service. I also pointed out that the license plate mount was loose asked them to fix that and the two plastic fender rivets that were loose do to me not having the special tool to tighten them after changing out the light. They recommended at this mileage to do new spark plugs as well, I agreed. Picked it up after 2 days to find they only did the transmission service, spark plugs and diff service. 2 out of 5 things I had requested. Again disappointed at the lack of respect for my time and poor service. I still have it in me to give them another opportunity to have me as a customer (for some reason). 3ed visit: I asked the service department who they did their outsourcing to for their aftermarket parts and accessories and was told they do it in house and sent me to that department. I spent about 20min with the gal in charge of that and gave here a list of items I wanted to upgrade / order. She asked for my number and email address and said she would have a quote to me by end of next business day. This was about a week ago, still waiting... Meanwhile, after three days I called a local shop, they got the Jeep in that afternoon and got everything done that I asked for and ordered about $1200 worth of accessories that we requested from this joke of a Baxter place. Baxter has quite a racket going on with their warranties. They sell you on a warranty then when you need something fixed, their staff is so unknowledgeable about the warranties that they charge you a $170 diagnostic fee and only after doing that do they they call to find out if your issue is covered by the warranty. Pretty nice way for them to make a buck off people, and they're big enough to get away with it! My seat heater went out, so instead of telling me that wasn't covered by my gold package warranty, they charged me $170 to tell me WHY my seat heater wasn't working, and after that they realized it wasn't covered. Moral of the story: don't waste your money on "service" from Baxter. Don't buy their warranties and instead take your car to local mechanics who are far more knowledgeable and honest. To top it off, they won't acknowledge this as being an issue, but explain it away as "it's just their policy" and "you sign the paperwork when you drop you car off" read more

After spending 5 hours at the dealership and agreeing to a $45 higher payment than we really wanted for my jeep, we signed papers and went 3 hours home. The following Monday I get a call that my payment will be $80 higher than we signed for. They decided to give us a little more for our trade to bring the payment down a whole $10.... So we drop the gap and extended warranty so we are only $45 more a month over the payment we signed for. So much for honesty and standing behind a deal. Buyer beware! read more

I have been dealing with Baxter on Chandler road for months and have had the worst experience in trying to handle the situation of the things that were not done when my vehicle went in for routine maintenance. I have been dealing with the owner and i have had enough of people saying things that are not true. So i picked my car up from Baxter and i had drove maybe 6 blocks and felt my car wobbling, i immediately called because that is not the way i dropped it off. The owner answered the phone and i asked him what did they do to my car now and let him know what it was doing. Thinking it might have been snow packed being we just had a ice and snow storm.... So i said lets give it a minute and see if that was the case. Meanwhile i took my car in for another opinion. They inspected my vehicle and then told me what the problem was and told me not to drive my car. I parked my car in my driveway where it has been sitting because of a 3 inch flat spot in my rim. With brand new tires that could ruin my tire. I let the owner know this and have been fighting since November of 2018. As my car sits the check engine light comes on and they won't fix that either. I am very disgusted with the overall service... I will never step foot into another Baxter if my car is not fixed and back the way it was before they got ahold of it. I took pictures of my wheels and my car before it went in for a second opinion. There was new scratches and thats why i did this. I just put new tires on and my rim was fine... I am very peticular with my vehicle i treat my vehicle as if it were one of my children... And when the weather is nice and im not at home or at work im at the car wash spending hours washing my car. This is the third dodge dealership I've been been to and i have had the worst problems. Perfomance in LaVista put s dent in my fender and a couple scratches on my wheels they denied they did it therefore i refuse to go back there. Went to the Baxter on 180th where i bought a brand new charger and the customer service was great but it was just to far to keep going there... Therefore i started going to the one on Chandler and have had nothing but problems with this location... I am now making payments on my vehicle to sit in my driveway because of them. Very disgusted in the way I've been treated, lied to, and words being put in my mouth. When on the phons trying to take care of the wheel situation I could not get a word in and they just wanted to argue about it therefore i hung up. I own all Chrysler and Dodge products. I am now done with the Chrysler and Dodge products and will bs furthering my interests on chevy products. I am very angry and disappointed that i havs a brand new car that i can't drive and still havs to make monthly payments because of someone's carelessness. I was basically called a liar on the phone today. I am very angry and disgusted dont know what to do... This is my car and my pride. I treat it like it is one of my children. First: they sold me a vehicle which had been in an accident and showed me a carfax with a different VIN by one digit Second: I sold the vehicle and have been on the phone with a so called "financial manager" multiple times telling me "oh, yeah. I will get the paperwork sent right over" and then I never see it and when I do call back...again! He either isn't there or the people i talk to are absolutely useless and rude. They sold me all of these extra add ons that I can never use. I would recommend to anyone who is reading this to pick another dealership. They are high end scam artists and when you need them to take care of paperwork or something to do with the vehicle you paid $34k for they don't care. They got their money and now they are on to the next. I have already had friends literally standing in their dealership looking to buy something and they have left because of the issues this dealership has with honesty, care for customers and respect. I have taken my Dodge Durango in three different times to fix TWO problems. Out of the three times they actually only fixed ONE problem with my transmission. I told them that when you take the car thru a car wash or it rains, the inside SMELLS like a cat litter box! The first time I was told that they washed it three times and could not duplicate the smell, when they brought me the car it was filthy, I asked about it and she said, "would you like me to wash it for you? I thought they already did...3 times??? The second time I had to take it in I requested a loaner vehicle so I could get back and forth to work, I was given a truck that was so filthy you could not even see out of the window. I tried to use the washer fluid and it was empty. Had to stop at the nearest gas station just so I could get home safely. They had my vehicle for 3 days and NO WORD from them. I had to call and get my own updates. Again, they never touched the sun roof, said that they needed to order a part and would let me know when it gets in. Finally, the part comes in, no follow up at all. I had to call them to see when my vehicle was going to be done. When I talked to them on the phone I was told that they just finished it (5:00pm) and BOTH items had been completed. When I got there I was told that I they could not duplicate the smell and again did nothing with the smell problem. I asked, did you wash it? She said yes. She brought me the vehicle dirty, again I asked her how were you able to wash the vehicle and not get it clean? She changed her story and said it was raining and they decided not to wash it. They turned the vents on high with two air fresheners to mask the smell. Now I am told that I can go wash my vehicle and come and get one of the service managers and take him for a ride so he can smell it. I do not live in Bellevue and went out of my way to take them my vehicle. They have had it THREE TIMES now and have not done what they are suppose to do. I called Dodge, they wanted me to take it in on Tuesday so that the dealership will have it when they call. I started calling on Friday for an appointment and left messages up to Monday. NEVER ONCE received a return call. Had to call them again, they can get my vehicle in, but can not give me a loaner to use. I have already been inconvenienced enough, They also put 20 miles on my vehicle the last time they had it. Why would it have 20 extra miles on it? I also had to ASK for the paperwork for the work that was done on my car because in the three times it was there I never received anything. The mechanic Jake is Awesome. He even came out to talk to me the first time about my transmission issue. I just wish the other departments could figure out what they are doing. I gave them my offer and they countered which was more than I was willing to spend. Then, after three days of calling them back and trying to negotiate a deal, they blew me off. Then day number four comes along, apparently after three managers tried to get a hold of me, they offer me the same deal as the first day. I'm sure they expect gullible people to come in and just take whatever they offer thinking that we won't do our own research but that is not me. worst place to buy a car due to shady dishonest sales tactics. sales guy was actually alright but management is corrupt af. i think this is all Baxter dealerships as i got horribly burnt at the ford dealership off of dodge street but figured that perhaps it was just one bad dealership. but no the Dodge and Jeep dealership in bellevue is just as horrible. they forced me into a extended warranty that i repeatedly told them i did not want. i may have even yelled it at a time. i signed the paperwork and they went to wash and fill up the car. they were gone for a long while, maybe they fill up their vehicles in Lincoln??? idk but they came back with the bumper bashed in. i said this was not like this, sales guy didnt want to say much so we go get the manager and of course he said oh yeah it was, we got your money and signature so you get what you get! Made an appointment to view a van we had seen on their website. Was greeted at the door by Damone and Chris from the sales staff. Terrible used car buying experience! The sales person we dealt with was nice. We finally got a deal and financing negotiated after a couple of days and then it was several days before they could get the paperwork together for us to sign. The finance person we dealt with was horrible, he repeatedly lied to us about several things. There were a couple of minor repairs they agreed to make on the vehicle. These repairs took them over a week of them having the vehicle to complete. During that week they had the vehicle they didn't bother to get the title inspection done so we could license it in Nebraska so we had to pay a late fee at the DMV because they didn't get that done until after the in transits had expired. read more

We called Baxter to see if they had the recall part for my vehicle they said, "yes." They were setting it aside for my appointment. I took my vehicle in at 9 AM and was suppose to pick it up at 2 PM. I got a call at 1:20 PM saying that they didn't have the recall part! (Keep in mind that they sent two confirmation emails and called my husband the day before the appointment to make sure we would bring our vehicle in). To top it off, when we picked it up, the steering wheel clicked and two warning lights were now on. We drove it for a week, as the Drivers' Manual recommended. It said that of the warning lights didn't turn off to contact a dealer. Therefore, we stopped at Baxter and told them what was wrong, so they set up an appointment a week later. We again took our vehicle in at 9:30 AM; they immediately said it wasn't their fault, and they didn't touch anything near steering wheel. They said our clock spring was probably broke in the steering wheel, and they could diagnose the problem for sure for $109.96. They said I could wait it, since it would only take under an hour, but I declined. THANK GOODNESS! As they weren't finished with it until 2 PM! When I came to pick up my vehicle, along with a the $109 bill, they said they also found more wrong with the car to the tune of $7,506.43! We declined these services, of course. We do NOT recommend BAXTER ever. The Service Advisor, Mellissa Smith, was a unprofessional and rude BOTH times. Also, don't bother calling Chrysler, because they will just back up the service department. You know you are doomed the minute they ask you your mileage and you are over by 1,000 miles. Bottom line: Take your vehicle in to have a RECALL fixed, and chances are you will get your vehicle back with more damage than when you started. I would not recommend going there. Horrible customer service, and a horrible dealership. We will not be purchasing any future vehicles from this dealership. Plattsmouth is far superior and yet much smaller. It just goes to show that the hometown businesses still provide much better service compared to big city chains. read more

I called about looking at a kind of rare car a mazda speed 6 and was told I could come in and look at it. The sales person that I talked to on the phone was available when I got there but said he had a appointment coming in soon so he would have to find another salesperson for me to talk to five minutes goes by and I get greeted by another salesmen and they say they are having trouble finding the keys for the vehicle that I wanted to look at. They told me to come back tomorrow. I called the next day and they still said they couldn't find the keys and were going to have to have call a locksmith to come out. I said ok let me know. I get a call the next day and they tell me the car was eagerly waiting to look at was already sold. They said that's why they couldn't find the keys for it. I was not happy. They tried to get me to look at another car and I declined HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW A CAR HAS ALREADY BEEN SOLD FOR A FEW DAYS!! read more

Oftentimes I will review a place before I buy. It was, therefore a concern of mine as I read a few reviews about Baxter Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Bellevue. I had found a truck online and it was at this particular dealership. While I had some concern, I had previously done business with one of Baxter's sister stores in Lincoln back in April and that experience was very good. So, I thought I would pursue this truck. My first few phone calls were with a salesman named Rahn T. He was polite and seemingly knowledgeable. After a few days and a few calls, we finally made a deal. But for a few days after the deal, I became concerned because my Salesman simply disappeared. Finally after three days and wanting to make my plane reservations ( I was buying the car out of state...I am from California), I wrote a couple emails and made a call to their sales manager (Jason). It was at this point, things changed dramatically. I received two phone calls from managers and a third one from my original salesman. Over the next three days I was completely impressed and satisfied with their response. Rahn was also very responsive and helpful. He even called me upon my arrival at my hotel. In addition, Two men in particular who stood out were Azizi and Reuban, both in finance. Both of these men did everything they could to make things go smooth and organized. And, the most amazing thing was their willingness to come into their closed agency (Sunday) on their day off to do the paperwork and get me on my way. I was unable to get a flight at any other time other than Saturday night. So those men sacrificed a portion of their day off on Sunday to accommodate me on Sunday. I have purchased nine cars from nine different agencies over the past 10 years and never have I seen such willingness to accommodate my needs. Amazing! I think the negative reviews on here about Baxter CDJ of Bellevue only refer to the past because I saw a real difference from those reviews. I came all the way from California to buy a great truck and came away completely happy and impressed with their sales and finance teams. If you are influenced by reviews, I suggest that you put those negative reviews aside and give them a chance to prove they are a different team from the past and are a quality agency today. I would easily come back from California to buy again from them because I trust them. So can you. I can be very picky and insightful into people's actions. These guys proved to me that they mean business.....business designed around you and I as the customers. read more

I recently had my Jeep Commander at this Baxter dealership for an oil change and a tune-up of my Hemi engine. I asked the work be completed by 11:30 so I could make a lunch appointment on time and I asked that my driver's side floor be vacuumed. At 11:20 I hadn't heard anything (I had a ride back home to wait), so I called. The service person I had spoken to when I dropped off my Jeep wasn't available because he had gone to lunch. The person I spoke to stated the work had bee completed. So why wasn't I called! I waited for a ride back to the dealership; then paid for the work. I noticed when I drove away late for my appointment that the driver's side floor area was not vacuumed! read more

Terrible customer service. Test drove a Dodge Challenger, before servicing, fine. They finished servicing it we did paperwork, paid, organized financing, etc.. Drive the car off the lot and it has a knock in the engine, stability control lights going off, and A/C doesn't work. We take it back and ask for our checks back and to void the deal. They don't care, takes 20 minutes just for the manager to tell them to give us our money back. Representatives were rude, and when the mechanic opened the hood it smelled like the radiator had burst. I walked in knowing what I wanted to buy, having spent a few months researching vehicles and after finding one on their website. I scheduled a test drive of the vehicle I desired. The salesman was annoying and overly talkative. He also smelt of cigarettes (nearly turned me off of purchasing the vehicle I did, thinking it was the car not him). The salesman didn't even stick around to finish the sale, having made other plans. He left after offering little more information on the purchasing process. I had walked into the dealership with a loan already, but the financing manager insisted he could get me a better deal (likely to also get a cut back for financing through a bank with him). To shut him up, I agreed to let him try. He failed. He didn't apologize for wasting my time. He didn't speak to me again the rest of the evening. I felt he wasted my time (extending my purchasing experience by over an hour). Eventually I did walk out with the vehicle I had chosen from them, and with a headache to boot. I would not recommend going to this dealership. I know I will not give them more business. Since then they have continued to contact me for business even though I have repeatedly told them to leave me alone. The latest request also included a request for me to leave a yelp review. By far the WORST car buying experience yet. Bad customer service and they will do anything for you to sign, desperate. So I went in determined to buy a vehicle. I got greeted by some old guy which I don't remember his name. I told him I was interested in a Mazda 6 and he takes me around the whole lot to not even see ONE Mazda 6. We go inside and he just seemed lost. I show him one from another location and he gets happy and says they can bring it up for me, so I agree. So he says to give him some info to run my report and see how much I get approved for. He then proceeds to tell me "he wants the sale" really? I get it's your job, but he said this atlas the twice. He gets anxious and starts saying he needs me to sign here and there just to bring the car no commitment. He acts all fishy being short and not explaining things so I bail. He comes with his boss and his boss is just pretty talking. His name was Justin you can tell all they wanted was to sell the car didn't care about thoughts. The salesman had no customer experience. Justin leaves and the salesmen tells me that if I sign it's no commitment to anything, once I do he tells me I need to pay $200.00!! Seriously?? So I tell him to go get Justin and as he does I leave angry! Poor customer service he did not know how to explain anything, Justin had dollar signs in his eyes and was an overall horrible experience! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! And looking at the comments I'm not the only one that thinks the same! I went to WOODHOUSE and happy to say I will be purchasing my new vehicle from there!
