Needed a pedicure badly. So I opted for Baxter since I was in the area. They're open at 9:30 which is good. I made it there a little after 10am. A nice gentleman greeted me right away. Service were overall good. I picked the mango paradise pedi. Which is a few steps up from just a regular. I gave them a 4 stars because she rush thru a bit. I normally have a lot of cuticles and it wasn't really all taken care of. My cuticle be soo bad that it's a reason why I alway get a step up from regular pedicure.. I was done with the whole service in least then 45 mins.. I would say I'll come back but wouldn't upgrade my pedicure at all.. Its easy to get in. No appointment necessary. And no matter what kind of pedicures you opt for. You'll be done within 46 mins. read more

Worst pedicure I've ever had. I waited 40 minutes past my apt time to be seen. Massage was minimal, my toes are not straight- she barely filed them. Worst of all, she made me bleed while doing my cuticles and it didn't stop the rest of the time there. I had to leave and immediately go to CVS to get hydrogen peroxide since my toe was throbbing. Love! Love! Love! This is my favorite place. I have been to so many nail places, I thought I found my jam until I came here. I love the staff, they are all so kind and always stay late to make sure regulars get what they need before they close. I work full time and sometimes during the week is a struggle to get anywhere around here before they close. Its so nice to schedule with them and not be rushed out the door. They simply shut the door and finish up properly. They do a great job and are very clean. My gel nails stay on for 3 weeks with almost no lifting. My toes are always perfect and dont chip before I get back for my next pedi. The massages are on point! Horrible experience as it turns out. Started out well. Took us on time when we arrived and were very nice. I'm not loving my SNS full set but my daughters started popping off by the next day! I called and made an Appt to have hers fixed. Lin said that was not a problem and that they would take care of it. When she got there she was treated horribly. They asked her for pictures, told her they would only fix the broken ones. Which were about 8 of the 10. Told her if they broke again they wouldn't fix it. Beyond unprofessional and rude to a kid! Told my child to get a lawyer!!!!!! We came from 45 minutes away! THE ONLY HALF FIXED THEM AND KEFT THE ONES SHE GLUED BACK ON WITH NO CORRECTION! She started texted me who was at home. She was almost in tears and frustrated. I got on the phone with the male manager who explained to me their policy isn't to fix nails because the customer breaks them! We will NEVER be back there!!!! Cool, im the first to review! Awesome place. Had a great conversation with the guy that did my pedicure. They've only been in the Baxter Village Town Center for about six months. The spa chairs have privacy curtains if you so choose and I was offered something to drink when I sat down. They actually will offer you a glass of wine! I didn't have any so I don't know if it costs extra but I still thought it's a nice touch. This is the first place I've ever seen that uses disposable liners in the pedi tubs and they also wear gloves so I imagine they are good with all other hygiene practices. I'm from out of town but as far as cost, they are only a few dollars more than Walmart and other places I called. Im always concerned with hygiene peactice, so between theirs and their hospitality I think the price is worth it. I'll definitely go again before I go home! read more

Baxter nails gets about a 3.5 score in my opinion. I took my daughter there for a pedicure and she enjoyed it. My pedicure was rather painful and the lady doing doing my service was not gentle at all. I had bruising on my legs from the "massage". The price was around $100 for an adult and child pedicure which is a little higher than other spas in the area. The gentleman who runs the place is a very sweet man and is always complimentary to my family when I have been in. Although they are kind and welcoming, I probably won't be back soon after the last experience. read more

They got there , the lady told them they will have to wait. I had the best experience with Sofia yesterday! I came in for a gel manicure right after a yoga class at Om upstairs (love that I can pair these spots together as cheesy as this sounds, but this mom of a toddler needs everything to be done as efficiently as possible these days!) and not only did she do a great job, but the location/atmosphere/pricing are all fantastic too. Came here without an appointment to get some acrylic nails off and get a gel manicure. Luckily there was no wait time, and they did a really nice job of painting the stubs of my nails I had left under the acrylic. When getting the acrylic on (from another place, not here) the woman had sawed through a few of my nails on certain spots but they were really gentle and never made my nails sore with the drills or the file. They had an awesome selection of dip, gel, and traditional polish and they had the exact color I wanted. They did a great job with the gel and really got in there to take my dead skin nd cuticles off. I wish I lived here because I would definitely make this my new go-to nail place! read more

I've been here twice. I get dip manicures. These are my real nails that are dipped in an acrylic powder. This time I asked for a light pink and white ombre instead of white tips then a sparkly polish on top. My daughter got something different. They do a great job. The best part is that sometimes other salons have gotten the dip powder on my cuticles and this causes a gap when they grow out a little. Most of the time you cant tell until it's been a week or two and suddenly your hair gets snagged in your nails. This never happens here. I found a place on regent parkway and 21 I liked until that kept happening and I came here. Now this salon is my go-to. They are very nice. Had a pedicure and it was great too. The tub has a cover and they wear gloves. My last dip manicure was $50. Sometimes it's more like $40 or $45 depending on what I want. Clean place. Nice staff. They offer you water or a soda. I went there to get a pedicure and they were so RUDE! This guy basically paints my nails and puts a hot towel on my leg and tells me he's done. I looked under my feed and still saw dry skin still there. I complained and he told he it was "perfect" . This is a nice salon in a very cute area. The kids pedi chairs are adorable and they have little DVD players at each one. The only reason I took off a star is because it was really warm and stuffy because they did not have the air on. It was nice out but the door wasn't even open...part of the pedi experience is to be comfortable and being hot and stuffy isn't so fun. I really want to love this place. I really do, because it is in my neighborhood, they are open on Sundays, and later in the evenings than many of the places I've tried nearby. However, I've been three times, and my toes have chipped within the first two days of each pedicure. Everyone who works there is extremely pleasant, and the experience itself is nice, but I can't justify the higher price when I can go to a competitor down the street for less money and get a polish job that lasts for weeks without a chip. Also, I am not completely sure, but it appears that they have disposable liners in each foot bath that they replace after each customer. I was one of the last customers there on a Wednesday night, and it looked like maybe the employees were taking the liners out of the baths and rinsing them off, and then replacing the same liners back into the foot baths. So, the liners are possibly being reused and are actually protecting the baths, not the feet of the customers. read more

Alright I'm a guy, and comfortable enough with my manhood to get a manicure so there. I had a meeting down the road and had about 30 minutes to spare so in we go for a quick manicure. I've only done this one other time in my life so let's face it, I'm not going to be a regular but on the surface it was a great experience. My nails are generally bitten so this lady had her work cut out for her....but she handled it like a pro. Nice clipping, filing, soaking and hand massaging. All in all, nice! The lady was pleasant and worked efficiently to get me out of there in the alotted time. I will say this, my nails have never been so shiny. This is my absolute favorite place for a Pedi. I always get the deluxe which costs 40$ ad includes a hot stone massage. Been going here for almost 3 years. I don't do manis only pedis. What I love: for the most part the pedis are always consistent and last the longest I've ever seen. I had a pedi this past January and no joke it only had minor chips. Uh that was 4 months ago! Typically I go every 6 to 8 weeks. Love the chairs and it's always very clean. The staff is quiet which I rather like, but they know me and always ask about my family and job. What I DO NOT love: Yes it is kind of pricey. Places I've gone in the past charge about 30 or 35 for the same service. I have had one time where one person was rushing. I spoke up and said "I am getting the deluxe right?" And she Slowed down. They should have a no cell phone policy. I can't stand coming in to relax and the person next to me is jabbering away.
