Sergio runs a great business. He was by far the most responsive of the local services in the South Bay. He accommodated me by letting me inspect the dumpster size I needed beforehand and dropped off the dumpster perfectly on schedule. Sergio Sr. is friendly as well, easy to work with. He placed the dumpster where I wanted and expertly laid it onto our driveway without scraping it or our carport. On time for drop-off and pickup. They're a little old school with paper-only receipts and contracts (no email copy or confirmation). He does follow up to confirm dumpster drop-off the day before. My mother recently passed so I have been cleaning the house and needed a dumpster. When I called they were very responsive and even delivered it a day early. Later that week I asked when it would be picked up. They replied Thursday to Thursday but if you need it sooner just call. Thursday came and went. then Friday. I called again and he said his driver got covid but it would be picked up on Monday. On Monday he told me Tuesday for sure! It is now Wednesday and it is still in the driveway. Is this place a SCAM. I have texted and called, no response. I was forced to postpone listing the house. I can't remove a boat from the driveway that was sold. I also can't park the vehicles in the driveway and my truck was broken into last night. I asked for a receipt and "crickets" Non responsive. They finally picked up today. Yippie! read more

At 18:50 the day before the delivery day, they told me I had to pay an extra $100 because of my address in Fremont. I have told them the address when I asked the quote. Do not ever use their service. They tried to be nice to you when you order dumpster but once you paid then their service is horrible. I asked them to pick up after two days using the dumpster, they agreed. Then I saw the dumpster still at the house and I cobtact them. They say they do not pick up dumpster unlesd pay cash. I paid through credit card already and pay cash again? They tried to double charge. I cannot believe this is how they run business. Their business will not last long by running this way. Here's why: - Requested for a dumpster on the same day and he delivered! - Price is ~$50 less than competitors around the area - We rented a 30cu yard and it so happened that we went a little over from the maximum level of the dumpster. And sure enough, he was very considerate and took the dumpster with no additional fees! He gave us a warning but he managed to bring it to a facility without CHP on his tail - Frequently follows up and so easy to work with! I use Bay Area Dumpsters at least once a year for general garage and house clean ups. Ordering is a breeze, they deliver on time, they pick up when they say they are and as of yet I haven't run into hidden fee issues. I always worry that I filled the dumpster up too much as sometimes it crests the top of the walls but they never charged me more. I think they go by weight and not height (like one other dumpster I ordered). Anyhow...the drivers are excellent too. We have a pretty steep gradient to our driveway and they come equipped with metal bars to lock the wheels in place so it doesn't roll. Nothing but good experiences here. read more

Lisa the person who answers the phone is rude and very un - professional The communication is unclear and there are no set guidelines which I shared with you about what to include in the dump and which not to. Then they charge extra if the dump contains something which was told previously as OK to include in the dump. Then they would threaten to leave the entire dump on the drive if you are not OK with the company charging extra on the collection day. Don't ever use their service I seriously advise against it. Changing my previous review because my first experience must've been a fluke... I used this company for the second time and this time I felt scammed. Like previous reviews have mentioned they charged me over weight chargers that I know were not necessary. We didn't fill the dumpster, not even close and yet were charged for 2 extra tons! When I called to ask about this and another price discrepancy, I was met with a "we'll look into it and call you back" .. That was two weeks ago and I've yet to hear back. I was planning on getting at least two more dumpsters from them as we have projects coming up in the next few months, but I will be finding a new company.
