I had no familiarity with Credit Unions, so I started doing some homework. They offer all the banking services you need - online banking, fixed rate credit card, debit card, checking & savings, car loan, etc. All your deposits are insured/back up by the federal government up to $250,000 in a similar fashion to FDIC through the NCUA. All of the staff at the branch on Park Ave have always been very friendly and easy to deal with. I had gotten used to the attitude of the big banks, assuming that was basically the only option available. I'm glad to learn that's not the case. I highly recommend AllCom Credit Union to anybody in the Worcester area who wants to be treated like a human being when handling their banking & financial matters.
