When I first started, I had severe lower back pain that spread to the top of my spine including all around my neck. The pain wasn't going away on its own so I needed to take action, and Angelo did a great job diagnosing the key problems, coming up with a game plan the first day I saw him. He prescribed stretches to do daily as well as going over what exercises we would do in his facility to help strengthen my back once and for all. He also broke up stiff muscles in the beginning to unlock my muscles and get the blood flowing again. It paid off and now I have much more flexibility than before. Everyone even says that I have gotten taller and this is due to the fact that my posture is the best it has ever been. On top of everything, Angelo is the nicest guy and the most seasoned expert I have ever spoken to when it comes to physical therapy issues. It is all because of him that I have gotten rid of my back pain, and he is so knowledgeable on everything. I recommend anyone with back or any physical pain at all to visit Angelo, you won't regret it! Anywho, I walked into their Hanover office one day to ask questions and tell them about my medical history to see if they would treat me. The receptionist, Sue is SO kind and friendly and was very informative about my benefits too. She makes you feel like you've been a patient forever. I accidentally gave my debit card to my daughter and couldn't pay my co-pay one day and she was not rude about it at all. (Most offices are snippy as if you did it on purpose) She is a lovely person. SO to the therapy. I was scheduled with Brendan who I got to meet on that day as well. He was very thorough during my initial evaluation and he explained in detail what his results were of the exam. He has an optimistic personality and a sense of humor, which is important when you've been down and out for 2 years. Then on to my treatment, he is always very careful to ask how I am doing during my treatments and again, answers all my questions in layman's terms. I told him about my bad experience with another local PT office. He makes sure that you understand "why" he is working on a body part what he is working out and how you will benefit from it. I was also given home exercises and he made sure that I was doing them correctly before I went home and did them wrong. Brendan also does a good job of really showing you and telling you where and what you should be feeling while doing the therapy. He makes sure that your doing the movements right in order to make the most of the exercises and you never feel rushed. This is very important with PT. I have a lot of work ahead of me but I feel confident that I will get pain relief, get my range of motion back and I can get back to work! I would tell anyone to visit Anderson PT in Hanover and ask for Brendan. I also had a bilateral TMJ reconstruction over 15 years ago and he has knowledge about TMJ problems. Working in the dental field for 28 years, I know how difficult it is to find professionals who specialize in TMJ, so if you have TMJ problems, you can call Brendan!

Within 3 months I went from continuous pain and terrible flexibility, to no pain and the best hip flexibility I've ever had. I'm impressed with her knowledge, technique and demeanor. She took the time to listen, as well as teach, so I can continue to improve on my own. Recently, I've had tightness and pain in my forearms/wrists. When I injured my shoulder doing Jiu Jitsu it was initially very frustrating to be kept off the…read moremats and like many people with a nagging chronic injury I initially started doing self guided physical therapy exercises and eventually went to participate in my preferred activity without consulting a professional. After several months I noticed I had diminishing returns on time spent and still had nagging problems participating in my sport at full capacity. It was a breath of fresh air to receive treatment from somebody who looks at the whole person and their goals instead of simply bringing them to minimum comfort level and being pain free through avoidance. She customized my plan to my goals and kept me active in my sport during the treatment period. She also helped me address muscular and flexibility imbalances that likely caused the injury in the first place. I highly recommend Leah to anybody who participates in sports and wants their body in top working condition for their goals.

Laura is extremely talented, knowledgeable - she knew exactly what was going on when she first saw me. Based on her experience and expertise her assessment for a biweekly visit for 6-weeks worked perfectly for me. I saw Mike on most of my appointments during the course of 6 weeks. Mike is excellent, very knowledgeable, and helped me with all the exercises a huge deal. The friendly conversations helped me go through some very basic exercises very quickly. The facility is meticulously clean, appointments are on time. I always received a reminder text the previous day for the appointments. The ATI app also helped with exercises at home. Kudos to ATI, I am so much better and able to go about my life while knowing how to handle soreness and pain should they creep up again. Highly recommend ATI.

Laura, in my view, is unprofessional. She is loud and thinks she is funny. She was not amusing to me. The manner in which she spoke to a new therapist in training was rude. She spoke to her harshly several times while standing next to me. I have trained numerous nurses over the years and never treated another nurse the way Laura treated Ashley. I have a work related back injury. I only went for the initial visit and had enough. I going someplace else. I have body image issues as I am overweight right now. I didn't need to hear that I have a "neck like a turtle". "I have a flat butt and flat shoulders". "I have a degenerative disc disease body". Hearing these comments from Laura at the start of my appointment just stunned me so much. It was difficult to get past psychologically. Then having pay attention to her abrupt instructions on exercises was stressful. After explaining each exercise she would tell me how many to do and just walk away to do something else with someone else. I didn't know if I was performing the exercise correctly. Shouldn't a PT make sure you are doing things correctly? Of course. I also felt the "chicken wing" song was childish (another therapist playing a bongo while she sang to me). I will never go back again and won't refer anyone I know to go there. I think Laura needs some feedback as the other therapist working at ATI that day seemed professional.

I cannot express how thankful I am for Dr. Wagner and the knowledge, guidance and help he has given…read moreand continues to give me. To give a little background, I swam in both club and college and eventually found my way to triathlon once done with my swimming career. Last year I decided to train for my first full Ironman and about 5 weeks out from race day, developed IT band syndrome, causing pretty severe pain in the knee while running. As a swimmer, I already knew a good amount about training and rehab but had no idea how that fit in a cycling or running regimen. So I reached out to Dr. Wagner and knowing I was on a short timeframe, he was able to fit me into his schedule right away. Dr. Wagner educated me on what the likely causes could be and how I could go about treating the issue and I am so grateful for all of the information he was able to share with me along the way. However, I am most grateful for the fact that Dr. Wagner didn't just treat my injury. I felt that he treated me for who I am and what my goals were and took all of those into account when evaluating the best approach to rehab my injury. Other providers would likely have told me not to race and to start full rehab right away. Dr. Wagner worked with me to develop a plan where I had the potential to race, depending on my pain tolerance and ability to perform without sacrificing form. Sure it wasn't the quickest way to recovery but again, he treated me, not my injury. I am happy to report that I was able to follow his recommendations leading up to and during the race and finished successfully. Once done with the race, I was able to jump right into getting it healed up and am hoping to be ready to go for next tri season. Fortunately, I now have a ton more information about how to successfully prehab and avoid any future injuries. Dr. Wagner continues to be an excellent resource and I highly recommend him if you are in need of a knowledgable and compassionate PT.
