When I started, I had the odd request of having my coach be involved in my care. Jackie has pushed me to tackle some challenging movements that I didn't think were ever going to be possible with the extent of my injury. Since starting with Jackie, I've had so many firsts- I was able to complete my first ever squat snatch after years of training; lunges & am slowly working toward box jumps. The space itself is very intimate, you will never have more than one other person in while you are doing therapy -which I love, both for covid reasons and just for the personal attention. The owner, Yolanda, is amazing!! Truly caring and very knowledgeable. She can put her hands on my back and tell me where my pain is w/o my even explaining...and she's always spot on! The main therapist that works w Yolanda is Judy, and she is so professional and unbelievably versed in every aspect of PT. Her knowledge is expensive !!! For someone who has gone many, many times I didn't think I would learn anything knew, but Judy has certainly opened my eyes. I've been working with George, one of their prosthetic wizards. He fixed me up in no time with a VERY comfortable BK carbon fiber leg which I love.
