What stood out to me before I even met her was that multiple doctors, all from different buildings and institutions, independently told me the same thing, "If anyone can help you, it's her." That alone says everything. From the moment I met Dr. O'Neill at Spaulding in Braintree, I felt something I haven't felt in a very long time... I truly felt seen. She didn't rush me. She didn't talk over me. She didn't treat me like a chart, a case, or a number. She treated me like a human being who has been carrying pain for a very long time. Her empathy was immediate and genuine. She spoke to me gently, listened fully, and truly validated everything I've been experiencing for years. The injections themselves were unlike anything I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. (I've had hundred maybe even thousands of injections over the years) She was able to inject in places no other doctor has ever addressed, areas I didn't even realize could be treated because no one else had the experience or confidence to go there. I felt relief right away, and in the days following I've noticed slow, meaningful progress, the kind of progress that brings real hope. These help people with a CTD, connective tissue disorder, like my Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. They prevent my fingers from hyperextending and eventually dislocating. Donna VanHelene has the knowledge, skill and patience to design each custom finger brace with the TLC it needs. Then, during follow up visits, she will adjust and refit the custom hand braces as needed. Everyone in here is great, May Le (don't know the correct spelling), Annie, Dr. Michael Rauch (the chiropractor) and Jalisa are all so incredible. Walking into this place, you can just smell how clean and well taken care of it is. (If you can smell it, you know it's a very very clean environment) May Le and Annie are so welcoming! Making sure you check in correctly and having just a positive attitude from the beginning. Dr. Michael Rauch is exceptional at his work. His hands work like magic and I've never seen (and either has my mother) such a doctor care for his profession! After a few minutes of checking your back, and a few lovely sounds of cracks, he takes you into a muscle stimulation room where the machine works wonders on your body! Lay down with a hot towel over your area of injury and you can slowly feel the results getting better and better after each visit! And lastly Jalisa! I would be in that massage therapy every single day if I could! She makes sure every part of your injury is tented to correctly. Like Dr. Rauch, her hands work like magic! There's not much to say after I have a session with her, I'm left speechless! Not only because of how relaxed I am but how I can feel how much better my muscles are. There's not a much better place to go than to CKT, great staff, great knowledge and a wonderful get away after such a horrific accident! They also do regular massages if you ever want to relax! No one was at the front desk, so I called and the person who does the adjustments (doctor? Chiropractor?) shows up with the officer lady who I think had lice or bad dandruff and then she has all of my information wrong. After I spent time filling the information in the computer it crashes and then the lady says to re enter it again and it crashes again. She walks away and the the person who supposedly is the doctor acts like everything is peachy creamy. I am ready to walk out but think maybe they just suck with technology but may be a good doctor. I was wrong. The person who is supposedly a doctor has the office lady do some shady back scan even after I told him I had current ex rays which he did not even want to see. I told him my pelvis and sacrum were bothering me but he only adjusted my neck and said it takes time. As I was leaving he said he would re adjust but I said no thanks. Don't be fooled like I was by their somewhat professional looking website. This place is an utter disaster. The website says the supposedly chiropractor is passionate and has a calling. He is neither passionate nor shows a sense of calling to serve patients. Someone needs to look into this place. Something is not right there. Be WARNED!!!!!!

Not only did they not take responsibility of their errors the office manager defended the desk personals errors saying she did everything right. I couldn't have my pt that I waited a month for because they didn't have a referral for me because nobody told me I needed one. And that is only one of her wild goose chases. All I wanted was for them to know they needed to educate their front staff better as not to inconvenience other patients like me. This office manage went crazy yelling, waving her hands, talking over me in a very sarcastic tone saying that she didn't feel safe with me in the building. She wanted me to leave and not talk to the doc on duty. She said if I didn't leave she was going to call the police. Then finally after she ranted at the doc her side he came out but she wouldn't let me talk to him privately. She stood in the doorway and wouldn't allow me to close the door. She interrupted me and the doc repeatedly with threats and her opinions of things that had nothing to do with the event of the day. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic pancreatic cancer at the young age of 41 in March…read moreof 2014. We were absolutely devastated. Doctors told us he wouldn't last the summer, and they immediately put him on an aggressive chemotherapy regimen. During his treatment, we also decided to look into "alternative" medicine. By the grace of God, we found our way to Yi Luo and Eastway Acupuncture & Wellness. As soon as we met her, we were immediately comforted by her gentle nature. Though she didn't know us, we could also tell she cared and desperately wanted to help. In addition to getting weekly acupuncture, Yi recommended a combination of herbal remedies and bone broth soup. We did everything she told us to, though some thought it odd that I'd give my husband a warm foot bath (with herbs!) every night before bed. And I won't lie - he didn't love the taste of the soup, but he gulped it down while I watched, arms folded, until he finished every drop. When we went in to get the results of my husband's first CT scan, I asked his oncologist what a "good" result might be. His response was, "About a 30% reduction in overall tumor volume." We were astounded when we learned my husband had a 94% reduction in tumor volume. In July of 2014, after my husband finished his chemotherapy, we went in for another CT scan. I'll never forget his oncologist turning around his computer monitor for us to see the scans. I remember leaning in for a closer look. "Where are the tumors?" I asked. I remember the scans looking like Swiss cheese when he was first diagnosed. The doctor looked at us, and with a kind smile, hunched his shoulders and said, "Gone." My husband was declared disease-free by CT scan that day. There was no explanation by any of his doctors. He'd achieved the impossible. He was called "a miracle." Nine years later, my husband is still cancer free. Now I have no idea exactly why we were given this gift, but I do know that Yi's care contributed to my husband's healing. I don't believe there's any evidence that acupuncture can help cure cancer, but I do believe it relieves stress and lessens side effects of treatment. Those two things and the genuine care he received absolutely contributed to my husband's healing. When I developed chronic pain a couple of years ago, I knew exactly where to go. I now see Yi every week. She's still the same - dedicated, caring, optimistic. I'd recommend Yi and anyone in her office. You couldn't possibly find better alternative care.
