Because our entire family lives in Michigan, we desperately wanted to bring her closer to home. Many facilities were hesitant to accept her case, but Carriage House welcomed her with open arms. From the moment she arrived, she was treated with dignity, respect, compassion, and genuine love. Every member of the team played a role in her recovery. The leadership, physicians and providers, nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, activities department, dietary staff, and housekeeping team all demonstrated an extraordinary level of professionalism and care. We were continually impressed by their commitment to our mom's well-being. If you are looking for a facility that provides intensive rehabilitation and truly invests in its residents, Carriage House is the place to be. They gave our mom every opportunity to regain her strength, independence, and quality of life. Given the severity of her stroke, we were told she might not survive, let alone make the remarkable progress she ultimately achieved. We truly believe God led us to Carriage House, and that the exceptional care she received there was instrumental in her recovery. Today, our mom has successfully left Carriage House and is living independently with her significant other, enjoying life once again. Seeing her where she is today feels nothing short of miraculous. My mom was literally going to therapy twice a day. Typically rehab centers dont do therapy on Saturday or Sunday, but not here. She was still receiving on the weekends. I found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and caring. Sometimes you are leery about a place for your loved one. No need to be worried about this place. They will take great care of you or your family member.

It was a rough road for our Dad in the months prior to his move, filled with visits to multiple rehabs and hospitals. In search of a peaceful place for him to spend his final days-with hospice care as his choice-we discovered this beautiful home. The rehabilitation centers and hospitals had been a nightmare for both him and us, but from the moment we arrived at this group home, everything changed. The calm, caring environment met all his needs. And Annie's authentic, homemade Romanian cooking added a special, comforting touch; our Dad even looked at us and said, "This place isn't just good-it's great." At 95, with his mind completely intact, he knew quality when he experienced it. We will always be profoundly grateful to this wonderful Christian couple who provided such loving care during his last days on the earth. They have a dog and I've been told it never gets let out poor dog. Goes the whole time there without going outside! How would you feel holding your bladder that many hours! Can you say animal cruelty! second of all while I was there the PTA kept falling asleep at one point even snoring i said something about him taken a nap he told me he was watching something on his phone. This is not the first time seeing him sleep on the job sometimes he would even fall asleep standing up with his elbows on his little table with wheels that he has his laptop on. I don't know if he's on drugs or maybe health issues? Third of all I overheard the Doctor talking about a patient to his employee saying how needed she was and how rude she was and saying something about her that was making them both laugh. Last but not least how rough the Doctor is it was very painful not satisfied.
