If you like roughing it or living in continued chaos; this is the place for you. Has gone way downhill, and tenants rights are constantly being infringed on. Not safe for the elderly. Management issues threats to tenants on a regular basis that keeps people on edge, frustrated, and depressed regarding secure housing. STAY AWAY!!!!! Kindness, accountability, and professionalism could help greatly, but you won't get it here! SLUMLORDS from the regional manager (Cole) her boss and down to the entire First Realty Management!!!! The church would and should be embarrassed if they knew how horribly the tenants are treated... This place only makes tough times, even tougher... No one needs that!!!!!

Right off the bat, I have had an amazing experience with Stephanie in the main office, she is so sweet and helpful in getting all the paperwork situated and helping us through the process of the rental application. The apartment building itself seems clean and secure - a huge security upgrade from our current residence. I love that there is a free gym and secure package system as well. And the fact that all utilities are included (except internet/cable) is amazing!! This place has residents that have lived there for decades which makes me feel more secure about the situation if people want to stick around for that long. The Pointe at Kingston apartments and community are beautiful; I don't have any complaints about…read morethat. Our complaint is with the rental staff. We sold our house 4 years ago and stayed in Quincy in an apartment complex and decided it was time to move out of Quincy. The rental agent was very nice and took us to look at many apartments. We had never had an issue with paying a much higher rent, but we had to keep supplying information to verify that our monthly income was 3x the amount of the apartment. Because we didn't use one of the "big banks", we had to have our financials sent to us from the bank, employers, etc. and we would forward this information to the rental office. It would take 3-4 days to hear back saying they couldn't open the attachment. This took us 1 month and at the end we were told we didn't meet the monthly amount. We were in a time crunch, my husband asked what the criteria was that they used and once he had it, he found that they did not include all of our financial information. We called the rental staff several times and we left messages for a manager to call us back, but no phone calls were returned. It was all very frustrating. We were able to find a place that we love and are very happy. Funny thing is, we surpassed 3x the monthly income requirement for a similarly priced apartment.

It's your typical apartment complex run by a property management company. Lived there two years but…read morehad to move because the rent kept going up. Property management was easy to deal with but then again was never late on rent and only had to have maintenance come to the apartment once. The walls are thin so be ready to hear everything all your neighbors are doing on. Doesn't matter if they are across the hall, right next to you, or live above you; you'll hear them like they are screaming in your living room. Also, be prepared for your neighbors to just buzz anyone in without checking to see who it is, even though property management had a no soliciting policy and sign always got door to door sales people peddling a scam. Plus while I was there, there was a home invasion, the perps got in because they rung each apartment in the building until someone buzzed them in without checking. Not the managements fault they put the security measure in place and people are just too lazy to use it properly. Get a PO box if you have mail larger than an envelope coming to you. Postman will leave anything that doesn't fit in the tiny mailboxes out in the lobby, had a few packages stolen from the lobby and from my front door, until I got my PO set up. Again, not managements problem not like they can tell a thief from a credit check. Though if asked office staff will hold packages at the office for you until you pick them up which they don't have to do but is helpful. Plenty of washers and dryers to use except when someone decides to hog them all for the day, usually someone with their whole family and extended family crammed into a 3 bedroom apartment. When I was there management would put a stop to it, if something was said but there was a laundry mat down the street and was cheaper to use. Really just your typical apartment living rants but enough to mention. When I moved out got all my security deposit back, which was great. All in all the staff was helpful and nice, probably would have stayed if the rent hadn't kept going up.

It's very sad and disappointing. When you talk to the leasing staff to have a conversation they talk to you like you've been a piece of shit tenant and don't deserve anything. It's unfortunate because I've watched how the tenants in my building have left things and I am being treated like I've did exactly what they've done and I have done nothing but follow the rules. I reluctantly agreed to accompany him here, but was unhappy about it. He rented the apartment by phone based on the current ad that they are running. They played bait and switch with him. Who is easier to rent a lesser apartment to then someone who cant see what is being rented?He came here ahead of me when his company said they needed him here soonest. I met him here about 3 weeks later I expected to see what was in the picture. An apartment with lots of light and stainless steel appliances, just a warm place to be. What I got was a dark dingy looking place that I didn't even want my dog to have to live in. I have been here about, on and off a total of 14 months. I say on and off because I throw in the towel and go home every time something happens I went home when I went into the closet to get one of my purses I collect and found mildew on them. I came back was my husband is here. We have 2 air conditioners full of mold and the place is crawling with spiders and other crawly things. I think the thing that will chase me home for good now is one evening I was in the kitchen and I had a mouse walk in front of my feet and then go on his way. Ever since then I have had to wash the mice droppings out of anything that is in the drawer under the stove, or the lower cupboards. Or run the risk of getting really sick. Two days ago I had 3 mice walk lined up, in a row, from one side of the kitchen to the other. The person moved out upstairs from me, and for at least the past 4 days, longer, I have been treated to workers banging, pounding, loud talking and music blaring starting at around 8am. I work nights and have not slept in days I have called their office here 4 times, with no response. They respect the tenants so little that you don't even rate a call back. They are running an ad to rent apartments and my husband thought it was a good deal, and he went for it. But, by the time they were finished with all of the extra charges including charges for things we do not even use the apartment price swelled to nearly $2000 a month. So, I sit here writing this and listening to all of the banging, wondering who will move in upstairs and make it more unbearable with noise. So this is how I feel and what i am going through as I write this. Its not doing me any good now, but if I can make someone change their mind and not rent here, then my review helped.
