That being said, maintenance letting themselves in without notice is an issue for me. I've repeatedly asked not to have maintenance in without an adult present. I have teenage daughters and I do not trust any strange men to be here with them present without supervision. (You just never know). I work from home. Its not a ridiculous request. I have come out of my bedroom in a towel to a maintenance man "checking for leaks" in the kitchen more times than i have fingers in the last few years. Unacceptable. The office staff is reasonable and the neighbors are nice. The walls are thin but i feel that pales in comparison to everything else.

I've actually been in her place and enjoyed the space. I had come back from a trip and taken the day off. I decided after a nice lunch I would go tour. I set the tour up on THEIR website for that day (meaning they had availability) at least 3 hours in advance. After a great lunch, I drove 30 minutes to the complex to walk in to an unpleasant leasing office. Marie was the young lady there and I'm not for sure if she was having a bad moment but she was not welcoming. I walked in she looked at me then continued about her business (sitting at her desk). So I spoke and let her know that I was there To do a tour. She let mw know that there were no availabilities because the one unit she had open someone was moving in that day. I informed her that that was odd because I booked online (she never asked me what size unit o was looking for). She stated that the leasing office doesn't get those notifications( not solely hee fault here, however if we are going to use an online system make SURE your staff gets notifications!) She proceeds to tell me while I'm still in confusion that she can give me information on the apartments and that these videos are better than online. Cool. She NEVER gets up. She say the paper and her card on top of a candle on her desk. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed at the fact that time, gas and again MY time was wasted.

The other day, I was letting my dogs out at the dog park when a group of children opened up the gate, letting on my dogs out. Of course I had to chase them get them back inside the gate because the kids also had a little dog. Then I had an angry parent show up on my doorstep, screaming at me, not to yell at their kid. If people would watch their kids, there would be a lot less problems. There's maybe 40 kids under 20 that run around here, in the pool, and other amenities alone. If you aren't familiar with the area I would still recommend this location based off the variety of stores and restaurants just up the road. This complex offers a number of amenities including a pool, gym, indoor basketball court, and hot tub. You can even rent a garage for an extra monthly fee. I chose phase II for a two reasons; security and updated features. I love that we have key pads in order to enter the building. It was important to me to feel safe after living alone while my husband was stationed several states away. Now I do still love the updated features, but I sometimes ask myself if it's worth the cost. I am extremely unhappy with the carpet in my bedroom. I was told by my neighbors they removed all of the carpet before I moved in, besides the bedroom which is very obvious. It looks and feels awful and makes me regret living here. It is stiff to the ground and looks very dingy. Rather than pulling it up they only offered to clean it again which did absolutely nothing but inconvenience me, honestly. I feel with the amount I pay they could've placed new carpet or wood in my bedroom. I'm embarrassed for guests to even see it when they visit. I also highly recommended viewing your exact floor plan before applying for or signing your lease. Unfortunately I did not have this opportunity. I viewed a much more open layout with a bigger bedroom to be advised it wasn't available so I had to settle for something quite different. I live in the Hamilton which I regret tremendously. The long hallway and closed floor plan is not my cup of tea, but I have no choice but to stay here. My husband and I are considering moving to another (larger) apartment in the complex once we've fulfilled half of our lease. Maintenance so far has been outstanding, no complaints there. Sidewalks are almost always salted and work orders completed the same day. I can't speak for other employees but Lee always completes them promptly. He even installed my washer and dryer when I moved in. The ladies in the office are very friendly and helpful when I need them. We often have a resident appreciation week where we get free donuts, hot chocolate, etc. We even have a wine night which I've yet to attend, but plan to in the near future! Overall I would recommend Linden Square if you're looking for something in this area with a great community and helpful staff. It's definitely one of the nicest complexes in the area in my opinion. I also just recently found out we are getting a dog park! How cool! I hope this helps if you're considering Linden Square as your home.
