My phone died this morning and all day I was trying to go around and get it fixed. 3 other places all required appointments to even take a look. Finally, I sent out a request on Yelp, and BayCell responded. Within 40 minutes, I had driven down, and was getting my phone looked at. Unfortunately, the issue turned out to be something with the motherboard, which the representative told me was a costly repair, and that I'd likely be better served by just getting a new phone. He refused to even accept payment for diagnosing this! Even though he took the time and effort to try a new screen, cleaning the charging port, and a new battery. My laptop been needing a screen replacement. After reaching out to them through Yelp explaining the issue and what steps I've tried to troubleshoot and rule out the issue, Erish was quick to reply. He gave me a couple of options after he reached out to their supplier for parts, saying they could either go with a OEM screen replacement or a third-party part (lower cost). I let Erish know that I bought my own third-party screen replacement and all I had to pay was for the labor. Erish did a great job where I have a Google Pixel 4a phone that needed the battery changed due to a recent Google software update fiasco. The Phone has the correct battery type and like new with a reasonable price charged. FYI, I talked to the Mobile Kangaroo guys, and he said it was pretty tricky to change the battery and would have charged me a lot for it.
