On a gorgeous September evening that courtyard was just magical (could've done without my neighbors smoking, but hey, this is Europe). Wine - gorgeous - of course. Dishes - on the smaller side, what you'd expect for fine dining. But tasty. My god, tasty. Absolutely loved the mushroom ravioli, lamb, and carpaccio. The amuse bouche was so delicious, too. Service was attentive, and the staff spoke great English as well. My hubby said he preferred the big schnitzel type meals, but not me, this was possibly my favourite in Austria. Booking was easy, it was via WhatsApp and quickly confirmed. Yes, it was on the pricier side. But living in New York, I thought it was very good value. Highly recommend if you're looking for a special night out, date, celebrating, and you're in Rust.

The chef gave us a small sampler of venison sausage with fresh bread, butter & cheese. Side salad amazing. Other Meals very tasty. Fish looked yummy too. Even next day we were commenting on the mushroom tart with fresh salad greens out of this world. Very inventive, fresh ingredients and a must anywhere near the city. Very friendly service.
