My girlfriend and I stopped by there for lunch on their grand opening. Beautiful place friendly staff, and we both had great hamburgers!

The food came out quickly and to say it was good is an understatement. The seafood was fresh and I paired my blackened grouper with their oyster bay Sauvignon blanc. Highly recommend!

Both times I've been there we've sat at tables and watched from afar. It's a very laid back place. Friendly staff! We got oysters of course for an appetizer. They were really good. It was a variety which isn't on the menu but if you want try different flavors it's the way to go. So I ordered water at first then decided to get a beverage when the server came for our order. We had had to ask about it... it came at the same time as the food. Which is my fault but still. I had to remind her I ordered it. And it was ok. Strawberry daiquiri. I'll order something different next time. The food was really good. I got shrimp and scallops broiled with fried okra and cheese grits. Not a fan of the cheese grits but the okra was great. The shrimp and scallops were really good too. Hubs got broiled shrimp and fried oysters with okra and corn on the cob. He liked it all. Daughter got fried clams which were delicious! She also got corn on the cob and fried okra. Also all meals come with hush puppies. Over all a good experience.

Overall, the service was outstanding, but the food was a bit of a mixed bag. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a wonderful hostess with a warm smile and a friendly attitude. My party of five chose to sit in the bar area and were seated immediately. Our server, Trent, was fantastic! He was personable, attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of our questions. The customer service was definitely one of the highlights of the evening. We started with salads and appetizers. I ordered the garden salad with Caesar dressing. The dressing was absolutely delicious--one of the best parts of the meal--but the salad itself was disappointing. It consisted mostly of romaine lettuce with just a tiny slice of onion, a couple of cucumber pieces, and a few carrot strips. The crab cakes, on the other hand, were excellent! They were flavorful and paired perfectly with the remoulade sauce, which tasted fresh and homemade. For my entrée, I ordered the stuffed shrimp. Unfortunately, it fell well below my expectations. The dish consisted of seven shrimp, each topped with just a small dab of crab stuffing. While the sauce was delicious, the overall presentation and portion of the stuffing left the dish feeling underwhelming. Around the table, opinions were mixed. The fried okra and hush puppies were both big hits, and everyone agreed the oysters were excellent. However, the Captain's Platter was a little disappointing, and the blackened fish was heavily over-seasoned for a couple of people in our group. Overall, Captain's Table delivered exceptional service but inconsistent food. I may come back to try some of the fried seafood since it looked really good on other tables, but based on this visit, I'll give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

It's the absolute perfect place to escape the tourist crowds and enjoy a fantastic meal--but take it from a local: arrive early, because the locals know where the good places are, and this place fills up! The menu has an amazing variety of choices, and everything is incredibly fresh. They don't even have a walk-in freezer--that's how committed they are to fresh ingredients--and you can absolutely taste the difference. The food is consistently delicious, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is just as special. When the temperatures cool down, it's a wonderful place to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather, or head inside and take in the quintessential decor and cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Copper Tap Grille truly delivers on quality, freshness, service, and atmosphere. It's one of those local favorites that reminds you why the best places are often tucked just a little bit away from the crowds. Five stars all the way!

Unfortunately, today's lunch visit was disappointing. We stopped in around 1pm, and the restaurant was mostly empty aside from a few guests at the bar. The calamari was fantastic, easily the highlight of the meal. However, the rest of the experience fell short. Our food took quite a while to come out despite the restaurant not being busy. My father's burger arrived raw and had to be sent back, which was frustrating. I ordered the grouper sandwich. While the fish itself was cooked properly, it tasted bland and lacked seasoning. The portion of fish was also much larger than the bun, which made it awkward to eat, the fillet kept sliding out and falling apart. It just wasn't a good overall feel for a sandwich. Additionally, the service felt inattentive. Our waitress wasn't very engaged, and overall the experience didn't match the standard I've come to expect here. I'm hoping this was just an off day, as I've had great meals here before.
