He was open to treatment options I brought to the table and even used them with other patiants. Unfortunetly, he turned to invasive practices that would have a much higher insurance pay out regardless of the risk to me, including temporary parilization that almost cost me my job. Then came his legal problems that lost him the majority of his practice and forced the AMA to get involved. He is now only available one day a month (he sets the time for 10AM and he might finally call at 7PM). He has stopped paying rent on his practice, he has 5 differant numbers that no longer work and now I do not have access to any of my medical records so I can go to another pain doctor. I have also discovered he has not submitted any claims in over a year, leaving me with a mess to clean up to proove that I have met my $3600 OOP costs before I can finally have a much needed surgery. Bottom line this doctor is on the verge of loosing his license due to his own behavior.

First and foremost, the office staff as well as the doctor himself is very professional and communicative! They are courteous and friendly. This one thing never wavers and that is super important to me. Next, the office itself is modern, clean and feels very comfortable. It is located in Keller, and I live in Dallas, so I do have a commute. But, with the quality of his care, I'll take the drive any day! I have been to top ranking doctors for pain management and therapy. However, they are short lived because they donot listen to their patient. Patients were treated like numbers. Dr. Newsome actually listens. He has an intelligent answer ready for you or he will find it out and follow up! His treatment is better! Previously, so-called "top ranking" pain management physicians had treated me with meds and injections. It helped me a little, but each time I received injections, some adverse reactions occurred. For me, it was waking up and standing up, only to fall flat on my face!!! I was temporarily paralyzed during the last time I saw that doctor. For three (3) days I couldnt walk. I depended on my teenage son for everything. And, that doctor, said "Oh, yeah, that happens sometimes!" I was scared and refused to go back to him. In the beginning I shot down Dr. Newsome's idea to try injections in his facility. But I hurt so bad that medicine alone wasnt numbing the pain by itself. So,I tried injections with him, and viola...like majic it worked perfectly!!! No adverse affects, very minimal pain afterwards and it's been awesome! I was walking and working out the next day! I am never afraid to try anything he suggests! I am so thankful he's my doctor. My doctor is reachable, courteous and caring! One other thing I'd like to mention....Not only does he help alleviate the pain, he discusses root causes! He is EXCELLENT when it comes to fitness and nutrition! Everytime I go, he has helpful suggestions and life hacks that are doable and produces results! It is important to address root cause as well as treat you for your pain. Our health is our wealth, Dr. Newsome recognizes that and really caters to his patient! He has an uncanny ability to meet his patient wherever they are in life! I could say more, but .....I'll just say, you won't regret going to see him! Try him once, and you'll never use another doctor!

I don't know what happened, but things went downhill about a year ago. Reaching a person from the front desk became impossible. Leaving a message didn't help either, I wouldn't ever get a callback. My last call had me on hold waiting to speak to someone for over 30 minutes trying to straighten out a final bill and get my records moved, but they never came back to the line. I have changed to a different practice because of the administrative headaches and attitude shifts. Don't use this practice.

I called their office and I was hung up on if I stated my name. They even blocked my phone number and removed access to all my patient records. Still to this day, I have no idea what happened and why I was dropped. I never failed a urine test, never missed an appointment or showed up late, and the doctor always told me how much she loved working with such an educated patient. Her assistant even went so far as to provide me with a direct phone number for her so I could call if I needed any additional help. I also found I was being charged much more for procedures I was having compared to other pain management physicians. Don't waste your time or money - don't get caught in the Jekyl and Hyde scam.

Every time I've visited his office I've been offended by his staff, which includes both x-ray technicians. The staff members are unprofessional, immature and disrespectful. They are all women and most are young. I sat in the waiting room and the girl who was supposed to be my MA called me in by using my last name. This occurred on 2 visits. When I told her to preface my last name with "Mr" she laughed and ignored it. All the women on the staff act like they're at a pajama party. They cluster in the hall, laughing and joking. The x-ray women are especially creepy -- they kept putting their hands on me until I told them to stop. These people simply are not well-trained and Dr. Lo doesn't feel the need to improve them. My primary care physician, my dentist, even my veterinarian all have competent, professional staff who are a pleasure to work with. I cannot understand why Dr. Lo tolerates this trashy behavior in his highly-specialized practice.

But at Expressions Chiropractic Dr. Fowler takes out time to hear any other issues you are having with your body, suggest exercise, etc. Staff here is pretty good as well and helps you out with stretching. This place is almost chiropractic care combined with little bit of PT. Exactly what i was looking for. In past i have struggled with compartmentalization of various specialities - chiropractors only provide adjustment, physical therapist only address issues AFTER you have had an injury, Personal trainers give cookie cutter exercises. I think this place bridges some of the gaps. This is not to take emphasis away from chiropractic adjustment. It is great. My back and neck are better than it was a month ago. The facility is sparkling clean. The front desk always greets you with a smile. Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable and sensitive to your needs and questions. Just like any other office, they want you to be on a chiropractic regiment of some sort. Depending on your injury, they will tell you how often you need to come. I visited because they give a free birthday assessment and adjustment! What a perfect birthday gift ?!

In my research I found something that she said she prefers to treat naturally and to work with the patient and be more personable (I'm paraphrasing). That's exactly what I was looking for.
