Found Bayride Tours on Groupon and decided to try the Mojito Sunset Cruise definitely a great choice! Our boat was delayed by about 30 minutes, but it honestly wasn't an issue. The location has a nice strip of outdoor restaurants and bars, so the wait was actually enjoyable. Once aboard, they take a photo of you before departure, which was a nice touch. The bar is located on the lower level and offers a variety of mojitos, daiquiris, margaritas, and small snacks. I ordered a Long Island, and it was nice and strong lasted me the entire cruise! During the ride, we toured past celebrity mansions and took in beautiful views while watching the sunset. It was such a peaceful and scenic experience. Overall, a relaxing and beautiful time. It's about 80 minutes on the Bayside area with a tour of who's who list of mansions along the waterfront. The boat itself is simple. Has two floors; restrooms clean; and also a full bar. Took the sunset cruise (there's a Groupon) and had a good time with friends who also had not yet done this tourist activity because we all live here. The tour was fine, the scenery was great, but there could probably be a better organization at the pier itself. So first take your voucher or payment card to the little broken down building at the far end of the boardwalk. It's farther than the Victoria's Secret reference. All the way down. THEN get in line at pier 5. Take your boat photo (20 bucks onboard and worth the momento if your crew suck at taking group selfies.) Honestly it's a great activity for getting out in the air, maybe learning something g or getting a different view. It's not a luxury boat. It's a functional boat with an expensive bar in board. Worst experience ever on 1/24/2026. We did the portion of the company where it was a ferry tour of celebrities homes and bus tour. All of us customers were just walking around aimlessly on land, no good seating....not enough seats for everyone! People in my group were handicapped and were slightly injured being forced stand the whole time. Amazing experience! It was our last day in Miami with a few hours to spare before our plane left later that day. It was completely last minute so we rushed to try to make the 2:30 tour. I remembered seeing them on Groupon so I purchased the tickets there for about $11 each which is 1/3 of the price (roughly). The workers checking everyone in weren't so friendly but everyone else was including the ticket booth worker and all the workers on the boat--especially the driver and tour guide. The tour lasted around 90 minutes which is perfect. The boats have a part that's exposed, a part with a covering, a lower deck with high tables, side seating, and chairs in the center so it really accommodates all preferences in terms of sun and seating. I typically get sea sick but I was fine the whole time since the waters were calm. During the tour, the "pirate" pointed out a ton of celebrity houses including those belonging to Shakira, Jackie Chan, Diddy, Ricky Martin, Rihanna, and many more. It literally beautiful houses back to back. When there wasn't anything important to point out, there was music playing so you can chill out. As you are approaching the end of the tour, there's a beautiful view of the Miami skyline but pictures don't do it justice. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, especially if it's a sunny and beautiful day. They do allow outside food so definitely bring water to stay hydrated. read more

Is it worth $30 ish dollars per person at regular price? Absolutely not, but I paid $9 or $18 for two people through Groupon, so sure... it was worth it for almost 90 minutes. (The tour ended 8 minutes early.) The boat ride was somewhat relaxing. (At times the ride was a bit choppy, mostly due to other boats zipping on by.) It was nice to see the gorgeous homes and just be on the water. The biggest complaint is that the boat had too many people and not enough seating with shady areas. read more

The tour itself was fine. The guide was lively, funny and interactive. We enjoyed seeing all the mansions and Star Island. We were still expecting more though and we couldn't put our finger on what. It feels like it didn't have to be as long as it was. What rubbed me the wrong way is the raffle. They collect your info and pull names towards middle of the tour. The "winners" get an offer for an 8 night condo stay at a choice of locations or a cruise to a destination spot. I was so shocked when my name was called because I never win raffles. But of course there was a catch and it wasn't that you had to just pay the taxes, which is fine. What they don't tell you right away is that you have to sit through a 2-hour presentation about something or another to receive the voucher. It would seem like a fair enough trade off, but I'm not so sure how many ppl visiting MIA have the time to do that at whatever hotel location they send you to for the presentation. Purchased a Groupon for our group to do a sightseeing boat ride from Bayside in Miami. The Groupon price was only about $10 each. We phoned for the appointment in the afternoon. The booth is located behind Victoria Secret. They gave us a voucher to board the boat. The tour is about an hour and a half. Our tour guide was very funny and entertaining. We had nice views of Downtown Miami, Biscayne Bay, the Miami Port, Fisher Island, the lavish homes of Star Island, and Miami Beach. It was a fun tourist activity. read more

Found this via Groupon. Location was hard to find as we had to "guesstimate" the proximity of it. Luckily we were able to get on 4 min prior to getting our tickets. Total cruise time was around 90 minutes. Not crowded during the week. Make sure to get a groupon as I did not think it was worth full price. Enjoyed the nighttime cruise of the mansions on star island, the gentleman who was conducting the tour was very thorough and knowledgeable and provided the cruise in both english and español. You may purchase drinks on board as they collobrate with "Mojito Bar" a bar located in the bayside shops, so expect prices to be according. Great ride for the price! I paid only $30 a person, it was a beautiful 1.5 hour long ride. Would definitely recommend. Not extremely luxurious, but you get what you pay for. But to be honest the boat was a little sketchy we hit some big waves a lot of people were not being cautious there was people without mask.... who we're not asked to put their mask back on.... although there was a lot of signs for 6 feet apart there was no structure and it was just too packed !!! too many people on a boat that size. Located on the back side of the bayside market place, we got our tour off Groupon. We had read previous reviews and expected attitude about it. We received it immediately upon walking up to the window for check in. We were told all tours were sold out, then we were told you can't use Groupon on the weekend and we pointed out we could and then were told well due to a holiday weekend (Father's Day) we'd have to pay the difference. One of the other ticketing ladies stepped in and said we could go and had the guy print the tickets. There's no number to call, there's no way to get ahold of them prior than going there and asking questions in person. The overall boat tour was great! Got to see lots of celebrity homes, shipping port, the cruise liner area, and other misc things. Learned a lot about the history and culture of Miami. We bought a Groupon for this tour. Our tour was interrupted unfortunately because of a search and rescue. We were 10 minutes into the cruise. The staff seemed nice. But unfortunately it was too packed. They had so many people on the boat. Not enough seating. Especially upstairs. Upstairs had sleeping kids in the chairs and strollers. And downstairs was like a sauna. We got stuck downstairs. Not enjoyable. They did their best to take us around the harbor but it was a dud. Didn't feel like we got our money's worth. Btw for your info. Don't park near the Ferris wheel. It's a far walk to the booth and boat. Also, they automatically add the gratuity to your bill at the bar. I wasn't aware of it and left another tip. $24 for a pina colada that melted instantly. Not worth it. Do not expect luxury boating but the fun was in looking at how the celebrities in the area live. Also, fun little facts provided by the staff. The tour guide points out sights from both sides, but one side definitely got the majority of sights to see so it kinda sucked to sit on the other side. I went on the 6 PM tour and the boat was not filled, there was definitely a lot of room around. I really enjoyed my experience and for $10 a person it was really cool for a tour and to ride on the boat. The tour guide was really fun and energetic, there was a bar on the boat but I didn't check it out at all. All in all, pretty cool. I got there 25 minutes early too secure my seat on the boat. When we first arrived in Miami, we arrived early in the morning and we walked around the Bayside Marketplace. Since it was around 8am, most shops and restaurants were either still closed, or just setting up to open. While walking along the coast, we did see there were many boat tours available and we told ourselves that we wanted to ride one before we left Miami. Let's jump to 4 days later. Ultra was done and we had just checked out of the hotel. We had time to kill before checking in to our other hotel later that afternoon. So we decided to return to the Bayside Marketplace and ride a boat tour. I wanted to do a Pirate boat tour, but we would have to wait a couple of hours until the next scheduled ride. So as we walked passed a kiosk for Bayride Tours, a man working there persistently asked us to do a boat tour with them. It costed us $30 per person and we decided "Ah why not?" We set up a 3:30pm boat tour and when it was time, the 3:30 pm group headed onward to the boat. As we handed our them our tickets we started off by taking a picture (by parties). We managed to get a seat on the top, by the edge. Perfect. The boat tour itself was about 1 hour and 30-45min. We road along the Miami coast and the host would explain about mansions and houses that belonged to different celebrities. Of course they were beautiful but the actual boat ride was nice and relaxing as well. It was a hot sunny day but the breeze felt cool and refreshing. I didn't care too much about learning and knowing about who's mansions belonged to which celebrity. But what I did love was the fact we were on the ocean with the refreshing breeze that passed us by. At 550 pm for a 6 pm tour , started loading boat at 630pm due to one boat not working.got to the front of the line thinking finally I'm going on my tour to find out that I need a white ticket at a booth. remind you the ticket says not to stop at any booth and to check in at the boat.‍ The booth had a mixture of 6,630 and 7 PM folks waiting to check in. There was no organization of the group time. Meaning if you were 6 PM you had to wait behind people who were checking in for 7 PM. Very awful service. There are several vendors selling tickets to various boat tours and bay ride tours does not distinguish their boats or boarding line among the others. As such, there was confusion as to which tour we bought tickets for. After finding out the receipt had to be exchanged for tickets at a booth on the other side of the pier, we had to leave the line and locate the ticket office. My brother provided the receipt to the employee to which he exchanged with the tickets to the tour we thought we bought. Sounds like that would make sense, right? As my brother walked away with the tickets and provided them to the boarding crew, a lady named Ashley came running after us screaming "DONT LET THEM ON THAT BOAT" and accusing us of STEALING the tickets. I was absolutely appalled practically being labeled CRIMINALS in front of everyone else in line and on the boat. She snatched the tickets out of our hands and told us that we are not welcome there. When we tried to ask her questions she stormed off. The boarding crew seemed just as confused and were trying to be as polite as possible. Eventually they had to radio someone else to understand what happened and that is when they were told we were given the wrong tickets and had tickets for another cruise. It would have been nice to be explained this calmly without such hostility and accusatory language. Ashley is extremely disrespectful, aggressive, and unprofessional and would never recommend bay ride because of her behavior. read more
