We got this as a gift for my dad for Father's Day, and we all had a blast. They let you play your own music and it's BYOB, so it's really your party. The captain will take your feedback into what route to take and was very nice and helpful. Riding in the tiki boat is really an experience unlike any other boat cruise--you are so close to the water and low that it really feels like you're IN it. Would definitely do this again.

I loooooove Cruisin' Tikis Miami! I live down the street and let me tell ya, these boat tours are a HIT with visiting friends... and myself. During Thanksgiving, my BFF and I booked the Celebrity Cruise and got to spend the afternoon with our charming captain, Herbie, who we just adore. We booked the sunset cruise last night and it was another banner day in Miami, this time complete with a downtown view at night. The boat is a tiki bar with lights, a bell, a cooler (BYOB!), a bluetooth speaker, and good vibes. My mom is coming in town for Christmas and she said all she wants to do is the tiki boat, and I agree. I love the concept, the execution, the experience - all top notch. Check out this new option from Bayside (near the ferris wheel) and get out on the water. I could not recommend this experience more.

Beautiful day for a BYOB tiki cruise

A BYOB floating raft for 6 with an ice-filled cooler, your own tunes and a private captain for 90 minutes to gawk at celebrity homes in Biscayne Bay? If you're in Miami with 5 friends and you're NOT trying this out, check your head. Our captain, Ola, was amazing! She was a great sailor and excellent tour guide. She filled us in on all the local lore and celebrity home details we needed. Turns out we were a star attraction out on the water. Everyone taking typical yacht rides was busy taking pictures of us on our floating bar. Pro tip: Wear shoes you don't mind getting wet, as the water can slosh up a bit over the edge at the front.

Booked this for Father's Day and it was a hit! It's a way more unique cruise then your standard yacht or speedboat ride. They don't have drinks onboard, but you can bring your own drinks and snacks, which actually ended up being even more fun since we could bring our favorites. They also can play your music, so we made a playlist and had our own music we wanted to hear. Just note this boat only holds 6, so it's more more intimate bookings. You can also choose to book a spot on a public tour if not renting the whole tiki. You'll turn heads while you're out at sea so be prepared to get some attention!

We were not sure what to expect going in but ended up having an AMAZING time! This is the perfect excursion to bring out-of-towners to. We did the private tour for 90 minutes with 6 people. You can choose a few different routes and we chose to just stay in one spot in the bay so that we could all jump out and swim! They do not offer towels so if you plan on swimming, bring your towels. It is BYOB (drinks and food)! They have a large cooler with ice so we stored all our beers/seltzers in there. There is also a large trash bin on board. It can get very bumpy with the choppy waves so I recommend bringing your own paper towels just in case any drinks spill. The boat has a sound system you can hook up to (we still brought our own speaker just in case but didn't end up needing it). There is a large parking garage at Bayside, once you park you will need to walk to the spot behind the Ferris wheel where the tiki boat pick up is located. Highly recommend this trip! Our caption, Raul, was super great and super friendly!

The best time ever! It was much fun I went twice in 1 week. Ryan the captain/the manager is the man, he is so nice and takes really good care of everyone on board. I did a public ride on Saturday and then a private ride on Tuesday and both times were amazing. We can't stop talking about it to friends and family and we will be back out on the tiki again soon!

Booked cruisin tikis for my friend's bachelorette and had a great time. I booked the public ride because we were only a party of 3 and we love making new friends anyway. Ken was our captain and ensured that we had a smooth ride the entire time. He even stopped so we could peep the cutest manatee floating on by. We drank, we danced, we laughed.. 10/10 would definitely do again.

So a tikeasy!…read moreSure, it took a couple of tries, and maybe asking the wait staff at the Irish bar next door, where the tikeasy was hiding. You enter an immersive world that really outshines any tiki bar to which I've ever been. The magic radiates out of every nook and cranny. That was complimented by our bartender, Billy, knocking out some perfect killer classics, like a real Mai Tai, and Navy Grog, that, post the 1950s became kind of sugar filled, over-the-top mockeries of the Tiki cocktail arts. No mockery here. Just the old school magic. It's a very analog, and thankfully honest, unhipster revival for a generation who knows not of Bali Hai, Don the Beachcomber, the Mai Kai, and San Francisco's once-great, now seedy Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar, at the Fairmont Hotel, on Nob Hill. The crowd, including the regulars, were a lot of fun. In all, a really awesome evening! Five stars, for all of that, and a sixth for the memories.

The lechon sandwich was packed with flavor and loaded with generous portions of pork. The guacamole was good overall, though we felt the portion size was a bit small for the price. We also sampled several mojito flavors. The tamarind and cucumber variations were our favorites, offering unique and refreshing flavor profiles. Unfortunately, the blackberry and strawberry versions missed the mark. The fruit purées and muddled ingredients seemed to overpower the drinks, resulting in cocktails that lacked both sweetness and distinct fruit flavor. One thing we really enjoyed was the atmosphere. While the restaurant is primarily an outdoor dining concept, the combination of air conditioning, fans, and covered seating kept things comfortable. The tropical tiki hut vibe creates a fun and relaxed setting that makes for an enjoyable dining experience. One thing guests should be aware of is that a 20% service charge/gratuity is automatically added to the bill. It's worth taking a moment to review your check before adding an additional tip to avoid unintentionally tipping twice.

I talked the friendly valet into letting me park between a handicap space and a dumpster. The service was awful. It was 1:30 pm and there were about 15 customers with capacity for 100+. I was given a menu and a glass of water timely and the lady behind the bar seemed friendly. There were plenty of staff around waiting tables and backing the bar. I ordered a blackened fish sandwich and a draft beer. The beer came right away in a plastic mug. The pour was less than 12 oz. (small mug) and the brew was barely chilled. Almost room temperature. After 20 minutes and no fish sandwich, the bar lady came by and asked me: "Did you get your fish sandwich?" I said no. She then went in the main building (presumably where the kitchen is located) coming out a few minutes later while holding up 2 fingers, mouthing "2 minutes." The sandwich was $22 without fries (which were and extra $9 as a side). I didn't order those. The half-pint warm beer was $8. About 7 minutes later, another server came from the main building and delivered a scrawny, soggy bun containing a thick, small, undercooked, hunk of blackened fish flesh only 80% skin free. I had to finish the filleting myself. The toppings were parsley and onion. It was the ugliest and most tasteless blackened fish sandwich I have ever been served. I should've taken a photo. Anyway, by this point, I was in a hurry to get out of there as the place was a total fail. I picked at the fish with my fork and knife and ate the part that was actually meat and cooked, leaving the rest (skin included) and the soggy bun on the plate. With an 18% gratuity included, a simple grilled fish sandwich with no sides and a warm beer came out to almost $40. On the positive side, the view of the water and the Miami - Brickell skyline was good. However, I won't be coming back to this joint again. If I could give it Zero stars, I would.
