I got the yacht with the jet ski included. We were only allowed to use the jet ski for an hour. We had 7 people on the boat. If everyone wanted to ride it, that's less than 10 minutes per person. Water toys were supposed to be included, but it was either a lie or someone forgot to bring them. They forgot to tell me that we needed parking passes to park at the marina. As a result of that, our cars were booted. I don't feel like I got my money's worth. I'll be back in Miami, in November, and I will be using a different company. read more

Where do we start ! Besides the worst of yachting experience!! First we booked a yacht paid all their fees, when showed up to the yacht, an employee who hardly speaks any English was super rude to myself and my wife , demanding our credit card or otherwise we couldn't go on the charter . 2nd we were told the cc was just In case something happened but wouldn't be charged, surprised enough we were charged $2500 a week later without any explanation as to why. Now let's talk about the yacht itself, dirty, crew had no uniforms and just looked unprofessional, we did most of the job besides drove the damn boat, there was no ice, toilet smelled like fuel , all of my guest and I were just disgusted. On one of the busiest weekends of the year, finding a yacht to accommodate 6 people within 72 hours notice is not an easy task, but Prime Luxury Rentals made it happen. It is unfortunate that I have to resort to this platform in order to get any kind of response from this company. After being told we'd get a phone call back to talk through our experience on the charter "Why Not" on October 12th, we have yet to have any kind of appropriate follow up. There have been several phone calls made that have been screened and immediately sent to voicemail OR after finally getting through to Albert, the manager?, it leads to screaming over the phone. We did the 86' Azumit with captain and mate. The boat was fantastic and the people were just as great. First thing first, bring your own food like we did, they will take it from you and will put it on plates and serve it elegantly. Same thing for drinks, they will take your bottles or cans and will make and refresh drinks when needed. Our boat had a bunch of water toys that our teenagers loved, the jet ski is crazy fast and the sea bobs are something else! The tours around Miami was memorable as were the smiles on our faces for the next few days! this isn't cheap or inexpensive but if you can do it, I strongly suggest you take a day and do it. We were not happy with our experience. We've rented yachts three times in the past. Always an incredible time and an EXPERIENCE. However This one had to be the worst. The experience was not up to standards with having the yacht speakers low and busted and the rooms were locked. Inside was all covered and closed off. The back end of the yacht had the right speaker ripped and we could barely hear the music up front. We were jealous to hear other yachts play their music loudly and people having a great time. Our yacht arrived 35 minutes late and that was 35 minutes of sunshine. Our Captain and crew were nice but definitely would not recommend booking the 62 Azimut. On New Year's Eve, our boat was 40 MINUTES LATE from the agreed meeting time--super embarrassing for our waiting guests who also had food and booze waiting. Luisa (the logistics coordinator? who knows?!) knew that the pickup time was completely unrealistic and overpromised this time anyway. She had not been told any details about our meeting point or time. They advertised all of the spaces on the boat, and then on the day, most of the rooms were locked -- others were stuffed with other peoples' clothing and storage items. And only one bathroom was available. The captain and mate were nice enough and had ice and other drinks. As another reviewer said, Angela was uber-responsive on the phones and email UNTIL she get payment details. They also claim they will only accept wire transfer for amounts more than $5K which is utter BS. They're probably worried people will have Amex challenge them for overpromised, under-delivered reservations. After that, good luck on getting answers to even basic questions about amenities and logistics. You will get nothing unless you call or email 20x in a row. They MUST somehow screen their calls based on new inquiry vs paying customer. Bad experience overall and again, DON'T BOOK FROM HERE. read more

Did not answer my emails after I signed contract, when I finally was able to reach them, they did not know the time for my charter( gave me wrong time) and 12 hours before the charter they wanted to change the pickup location to a marina that was 1.5 hours farther from the one we had agreed when I signed the contract . in the end they sorted things out, but only because i got very angry at the situation. I would give Prime Luxury 0 stars if I could. From start to finish the experience was incredibly disappointing. I was on a Bachelorette party with a large group of girls and looking forward to a relaxing boat ride. We quickly realized that was not going to be the case soon as we were given the wrong address to arrive at, which in turn pushed back our departure time cutting into our time out on the water. We had ordered sandwiches, salad, vodka, champagne and snacks for the boat and when we arrived nothing was out or set up. We then asked for the food we had ordered and the employees threw everything out on the table for us to set up ourselves. We were missing a salad and asked where it was, to which the employees responded that there was nothing else besides what was on the table. This seemed odd considering we knew that we had ordered a salad, but we brushed it off. The entire trip, Sandy and Tim (our captains) were extremely unprofessional, they shuffled through and kept moving ALL of our personal belongings without informing or asking us, were noticeably agitated when we had asked to go out on the jet ski - which we finally got to do after essentially begging them, and to top it all off, at the end of the boat ride as we were packing up (and getting all of our stuff from the bottom of the boat hoping it was all in tact after Sandy shuffled our things), she miraculously found our "missing" salad in the refrigerator. This was an extremely disappointing experience for the price we paid, expecting at the very least to be provided with the CORRECT address so we could have the full time out at sea, our food/drinks set up for us, our belongings not tousled with and our captains to not speak to us in a disrespectful manner. To echo Lauren M, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. After a poor experience, Albert was more than willing to refund us in full, if we agreed to take down the honest and accurate reviews we had posted. When it came time for payment, the company wanted to send the money we had paid for food/drinks and our deposit to one card and pay the remaining amount through Zelle. Aside from being odd, I tried to explain to Albert that the card I had used to pay the deposit had been canceled a month ago because I had experienced fraud. When I asked if the entire amount owed could all be sent through Zelle, Alberts demeanor completely changed and he began to raise his voice (definitely did not feel like any way to treat a customer). The thing I could not (and still don't) understand is WHY it was such a big deal for a single payment to be made??? After this conversation (a full week ago now) I have not heard from Albert or anyone else from the company. I have tried calling several times with no response. Additionally, my friends fiancé had paid for the food and drink and his card was CHARGED $900 this past week. So, this company has wrongfully used his credit card information to steal even more money from us. As you can see, this company does not conduct an honest or professional business. Prime Luxury Rentals took it upon themselves to change our entire itinerary (marina, boat, destination/sandbar, and captain) without notifying us in advance about most of these changes or asking us if it was at all okay. Prime Luxury Rentals knew about these changes before our sailing date, and we found out about all of them (except for the marina change) the day of - either right before we set sail or on the boat. PRIOR TO / AFTER BOOKING Before we booked, I confirmed with our Prime Luxury Rentals agent that we would be taken to Haulover Sandbar and the marina we would meet at. Weeks after we booked (5 days before our sailing date), we received our final information that listed a different marina. The two marinas are in completely opposite directions, so I confirmed that this change was correct with our booking representative. PRIOR TO ARRIVING Prior to leaving our hotel on the day of our sailing, I called our contact provided by our Prime Luxury Rentals agent to confirm one more time before we left our hotel the correct marina. Our contact confirmed and then sent me a text message with the phone number and name of the captain to call upon arrival at the marina (the name was different than the name listed on our contract, and we were not notified of this change). ARRIVAL We arrived about 10-15 minutes before our sailing time and immediately called the number to reach our captain. It took the captain that entire time to come out to us to take us to the boat, and we were already in our sailing time when he finally came to the parking lot (it's only a 2-minute walk from the parking lot to the boat). The boat was missing bottled water (which is supposed to be provided). I called Prime Luxury Rentals to let them know that we were not happy about this and that we had to walk to the marina store to pick-up water. We were told there must be water on the boat and someone would be sent out. This took around 30+ minutes. We did not actually set sail until approximately 12:40pm when our time was supposed to start at 12:00pm. DESTINATION With all the issues we were having, something made me make sure that we were sailing to the correct destination - Haulover Sandbar. I asked the captain, who said no, we were sailing to Nixon Sandbar. I told him that was incorrect - we are supposed to go to Haulover. He said that was impossible from the marina that we left - that it would take hours to get there. I immediately called Prime Luxury Rentals to complain about the destination change - we specifically chose Haulover Sandbar after researching Haulover and Nixon six months before our trip. Haulover Sandbar was where we wanted to go based on referrals from friends and our extensive research online - not Nixon Sandbar. I also complained about the change in captain and us not leaving until approximately 45 minutes after our set departure time. They offered to extend our boat time, but I told them we had a dinner reservation and stuff planned that night, so extending the sailing time was not an option. He said he would speak to his manager and get back to me...he never got back to me. I had to reach out to them after our vacation. Because we were supposed to go to Haulover Sandbar (not Nixon Sandbar) we did not bring food because we read that Haulover Sandbar has boats that deliver food and drinks. Nixon Sandbar did not have this, so we had to spend an hour of our time off the boat getting food because there was no way we could go 6 hours on only the snacks we brought on the boat. Nixon Sandbar was in our opinion lame - most of us ended up sleeping on the boat instead of partying like we were supposed to be doing at Haulover Sandbar...complete waste of money. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE You would think after changing our entire trip without notifying us and the terrible service that Prime Luxury Rentals would take it upon themselves to rectify the situation with a full-refund. They only want to give a partial refund after they ruined our entire Saturday. After I told management that was not enough, they included a small discount off our next rental... (blank face) We don't live in Miami - we all live in Texas and are not likely to visit Miami again anytime soon. And even if we did visit again, why would any of us want to risk having a full day ruined again by the same company? We did not accept the refund amount that Prime Luxury Rentals offered - none of us felt like it was adequate for what we paid versus our actual experience. read more

We had a mix up and didn't receive the 28' searay we contracted for, which was frustrating. I was contacted by the owner / CEO, who profusely apologized for the mix up. Due to the mistake on their part, they scheduled a "make-up" for no charge. The 28' searay yacht was not available, so they upgraded us to a 40' yacht for the make up, which was very nice. Contacted them for a half day charter for my wife's birthday months before the event and got a text from a totally unrelated company which was weird and should have been a red flag but after some back and forth text an emails I was assured that the different charter company that contacted me was ok since they work together. Booked the charter with them and everything set but 2 weeks before they sent a text saying yacht is no longer available. I complained to prime luxury and they took over the booking and assured me that everything was fine and the yacht that I wanted was available and confirmed. The day before the charter prime contacted me to say the yacht that I booked was no longer available. At that time I blew a fuse. The customer service rep who was my contact was not responding so I had to get aggressive and demanded they solve. Eventually after some heavy back and forth an alternative yacht was secured but I had no choice at that time to agree; it was too late to change. On the day of the event they switched the venue dock also. My guest and I were promised VIP parking and VIP luxury treatment on boarding none of which happened. I ended up having to pay for guest valet parking and guests waited on the dock in the hot sun for an hour to board with no refreshments and no updates. My wife's custom birthday cake icing melted and my guests were tired and becoming impatient; the whole experience was disastrous up to boarding. The crew on the boat however turned out to be awesome..but the chartering company I cannot say the same. read more

SEPTEMBER- PRIOR TO ORIGINAL CHARTER DATE Horrible experience. What was suppose to be a great event that I spent months researching and planning ended in embarrassment, frustration and extreme unprofessionalism. The original charter was planned (and paid for) in July for a date in mid- September. The week of the original contracted date I received a call from Juan with Prime Luxury Rentals saying that the boat was in the shop and I had to reschedule my charter. I informed him that this was not an option and that I had far to many people to coordinate, but he would not accommodate this and I had no choice but to reschedule. This was extremely inconvenient and I had to reschedule to a weekend two months later than my original charter date now in November. NOVEMBER- DAY OF RESCHEDULED CHARTER DATE Now two months later it is the week leading up to my charter and I call and confirm all the details-- the boat, the time, the date, everything and I am told it is all good to go we are set for Saturday. Finally the day comes for the charter and it could not have gone worse. I arrive, early, with all 49 of my guests to the marina to find there is no boat. I then called Prime Luxury Rentals to see what is going on. First off it took multiple phone calls to finally get through to someone who then told me that I was wrong and my charter was not until much later that day. I then proceeded to call the Prime Luxury employee who I had planned the event with to see what was going on. He then told me (again after many phone calls and back and forth) he had misinformed the captain of the charter time and there would not be a boat/ captain until much later in the day. The solution I was given after about two hours of back and forth phone calls was to reschedule again and wait around for a captain to probably arrive in a few hours. By now half of my guests had already left the marina because they had been standing on a street corner for an hour now so I had no choice but to cancel the entire charter because not only had Prime Luxury Rentals breached the contract we had explicitly entered into, but was extremely unprofessional in handling the situation as well. However, despite Prime Luxury explicitly breaching the contract they were extremely unwilling to refund me my money. I then had to go inform all my guests who had just been standing on the street of the marina that there was not going to be a charter and that the day was cancelled. I was beyond embarrassed, and frustrated because despite my most diligent efforts and constant communication with Prime Luxury Rentals, I now had to tell all my guests for the second time that they would not be going on the charter. The first time when I informed my guests that the day needed to be rescheduled they were understanding, but now to be standing on the street at a marina with no boat anywhere in sight they were not thrilled-- mind you the only boat at the marina was a sunken ship. Although I had researched different companies, and spent months working on and planning this day it still went down in flames and that reflected on me to the organization I planned the event for. The level of unprofessionalism throughout the entire experience was unbelievable. It is expected that a company who boats a luxurious experience would be at the bare minimum capable of upholding their end of a contract, but they did not. It was beyond frustrating and disappointing to have spent 4+ months planning an event that ended so horribly, despite all my hard work and diligence. If I could I would give Prime Luxury Rentals 0 stars due to their unprofessionalism, failure to execute a simple contract, and poor customer service. Overall I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. If you are looking to charter any type of boat, yacht, catamaran, anything DO NOT use Prime Luxury Rentals to do so. I had the pleasure of planning a Bachelorette party for my close friend and 28 other women and I am extremely happy with the service I received with Prime Luxury Rentals and especially with Maria G. She was AWESOME!! I started working with Maria on 3/15/2019 for a sail date of 6/2/2019 and there were TONS of back and forth communication via email and phone conversations to ensure that my plans were just right. Maria was VERY responsive, attentive and helpful through every step of the way. She made me feel at ease in doing such a large purchase from NJ, sight unseen. I'd heard a few horror stories of scams that made me a little leary/afraid but Maria, as well as her manager, made me feel secure in doing business with PLR. In addition to securing our catamaran we also decided to purchase a food package to cut down on the coordination of bringing our own food onboard. Maria was also very helpful with this process. There was a small mix-up with one of the items we purchased and Maria was able to resolve it with no problem. Upon arrival at the marina we were met with Valeria who was just as helpful as Maria. She helped with transporting of our beverages and ensuring that our group boarded the catamaran safely. I can't state enough how disappointed we were in this experience (or lack there of). A group of us traveled to Miami from the north east and had been researching yacht rental companies. There seemed to be a lot of sketchy companies out there, but it didn't seem like Prime Luxury would be one of them after all the great reviews and pictures. Sadly our experience couldn't have been any different than those. Our upfront communication and booking went well. Angela was responsive and we completed all paperwork and payment via Zelle money wire transfer. We got our information and showed up at the instructed dock at the time we were instructed prior to departure. When arriving to the dock we were told to, a group of workers came out and let us know we needed to go to the public marina, as we were given a private marina address. We tried to call multiple numbers for the company to ensure we were at the right place, non of which were answered. We texted the number for Captain Octavio who finally responded via text saying there was an issue with our yacht AFTER we were already supposed to be on it. No answers to calls or further explanation on his part. Finally we got a hold of Maria who told us there was an issue with our yacht and constantly repeated "no worries" they would get it taken care of. After a ton of back and forth and terrible communication she let us know that we would be upgraded to the next yacht up, they were sending an uber to take us to the next marina and that they would also give us a full refund for our experience. We thought the day was saved and perked back up, but sadly we were still very wrong. We spent ANOTHER half hour waiting in the hot sun on the side of the road to no uber. Calls stopped being answered. The workers from the private marina we initially arrived at periodically came and checked on us. They let us know that yacht companies give their address and they see this type of situation frequently, advising us to return to our hotel and not trust these people. Maria finally got back to us saying she couldn't find us an uber, but in the same breath said stay put they had called one. Meanwhile we saw drivers all around our area on the app as close as 2 minutes away. She then told us they would send us a private driver and he was on his way to get us. At this point after being in the hot sun for over 2 hours and getting pulled around by a lack of communication and lies none of us felt safe getting in a "private car" or getting on a yacht in the middle of the ocean (if there really was one) with these people. We cut our losses and decided to call our own uber (which arrived in less than 5 minutes) and go back to our hotel a half hour away. In the car we spoke with a Juan Garcia in regards to the situation and getting our money back. Juan was unapologetic, rude and questioned if we were making the right choice by not getting on the "new yacht". He refused to put us in contact with the company owner, who he said was the only person that could refund our money. We are now out the yacht money and uber money as we try to fight to get our refund from Prime Luxury. While this company looks reputable, there is certainly more than meets the eye here. Would give this company zero or negative stars if I could. Completely completely completely disappointed me. What should have been a 30th birthday spent on the yacht I booked (and paid for) a month prior, turned into my family standing on the marina with all the food, beverages, cake, decorations etc being told we wouldn't get to sail, literally moments before we were supposed to board. Days prior I confirmed with Juan everything was good to go. When I arrived to marina I called Juan and he assured me that I could board. When we tried to board, a person on the boat tells us "this boat isn't going anywhere today." The reasons for why we couldn't sail kept varying. At first it was mechanical problems, then it was the amount of people we had (I did offer to remove some guests, but apparently this wouldn't help either), then Juan Garcia told me he believed the boat owner just wanted to take it out that day (are you kidding me????). The fact that I found out there was an issue BEFORE Juan knew anything is beyond me. I was extremely disappointed with Juan Garcia's lack of organization and customer service throughout this whole experience. Most texts or inquiries I had for him would go hours or days without a response. At one point I even asked if there was someone else I should be speaking to because of how hard he was to get a hold of, but he assured me he was my point of contact. The embarrassment I felt to have to turn everyone away will not be forgotten and can't be undone. This wasn't a spur of the moment trip. It was planned months ahead and every detail, including invitations, food, decorations were well thought out. This was supposed to be an 11am charter on a 70' yacht. The solutions I was offered were to sail on one of their 55' boats (nothing in comparison to what I had booked) or wait 5 hours to board a different 70' at 4pm. Basically grab all of our things find somewhere to put all my family and the food for the next 5 hours. Both completely unacceptable solutions. The email we received the following day was almost laughable. After all I have written I can't even begin to express my disappointment and sadness for how this day turned out. Prime Luxury Rentals, and especially Juan Garcia, are INCOMPETENT and I would not recommend to anyone. read more

My experience with Prime Luxe Rentals, specially with Bryan was amazing. I highly recommend anyone looking for a boat experience to try them. They were professional, timely, friendly, amiable, everything you can think of and more. Our actual boating day couldn't have been more perfect. We were celebrating our daughter's 17th birthday with 30 of her friends on the Catamaran. The captain and crew were friendly and so helpful in every way. We booked the 68' Azimut and had a fantastic time! Booking was super easy - I worked with Krist and her customer service was impeccable, so I knew this foreshadowed the rest of the experience. Paola was our VIP host and was a doll. The captain (I cannot remember his name) took us to all the best spots around the bay. The co-captain, Vic, was absolutely wonderful. She treated us like royalty!! The boat was clean and in perfect condition. All around a wonderful day which made it worth the price. read more
