We've done business with Bayshore Medical Supply for years. At first, it was nursing scrubs, shoes, etc., for me. They carried many of the same brands as the uniform shops near the Medical Center at a better price. As time went on, we needed basic medical supplies for my Mom. Again, we went to Bayshore Medical Supply. David and Kathy have always been so courteous and helpful, why would we go anywhere else? When my husband's health began to decline, he decided he needed a medical recliner, one that would lift you up out of the chair. We went to Bayshore Medical right away and my husband found what he wanted. Before we bought it, we shopped a couple of furniture stores that carry "medical" recliners. They cost as much as the one we liked at Bayshore Medical but did NOT have all the features. Needless to say, we bought from Bayshore Medical. We were thrilled with the chair!! My husband, Ray, practically lived in it. Fast forward a year or so, the heat/vibration control stopped working. Ray called Bayshore Medical and David said he'd order another hand control right away and come install it as soon as it came in. It came in quickly and David came out as soon as he got it. Once he got the chair in position to replace the controller, he saw that it had come unplugged. He simply plugged it back in and Ray was back in business. He didn't charge us for coming out and left the new controller with us in case we ever need it. Now I'm ready for a recliner and we didn't waste time looking around. We went straight to David. I want a petite chair, one that "fits" me so my feet will touch the floor when I'm not reclining. David didn't have a small chair in the one I liked the best. He said he needed one for his showroom anyway so he would order one. No obligation to buy......simply wanting me to see and sit in the chair I think I want. Well, I did that today and I bought it before I left the store! It has ALL the bells and whistles! Can't wait! Do yourself a favor and don't waste time anywhere else. We needed to purchase a walker and we knew this was the place to go. We have dealt with Dave the owner his wife. Dave gave us all the time we needed and very appropriate advice that we gladly accepted and followed. His products are of high quality and his inventory surpasses many warehouses. He does not take Medicare so be ready to pay either cash or by credit card. If any further needs we definitely go back and see Dave. The only downside is the small parking area. read more

Very unprofessional. They need to work on their bedside manner. I could tell the woman helping me just wanted me to decide and leave. I went right after work as quick as I could. I had never made a purchase like this before so I did not know how to answer any of her questions. Totally unprofessional I walked out crying I'm feeling worse about myself and my body. If you work in the medical field and you need a uniform then this is the place to go to! They have uniforms in every color you need and they also have a good array of sizes too. If you want your name or the name of your company stitched into your clothing they will do that for you as well. You just pay upfront and they send it out and call you back within 3 business days. Very convenient. They also have different supplies like stethoscopes and pen lights as well as medical supplies for patients like walkers, wraps, and even La Z boys. It is a very small store and if staff is on the floor helping somebody it may be difficult to get around because the aisles are very small. read more

Amazing place to buy scrubs! I'm a petite and it's always hard to find scrubs you can try on in store however Bayshore Medical Supply has a variety of options and it's sure to have a pair for you. Haven't had to buy new scrubs since it's all good quality but If I need any I'll be sure to shop here first. read more

After some searching for stylish, reasonably priced scrubs I came across the proverbial diamond in the rough.. Bayshore Medical Supply. The building itself is kinda run down and they had two HUGE dogs roaming around the store ( I love dogs but its kinda weird) They have a great selection of scrubs, and other medical supplies. I have worn compression stockings for years, because of severe edema. I have always had to get custom ones because the rack ones were too long. I decided to give these folks a try. He carefully measured my legs and found a pair that are perfect! He showed me how to put them on without causing myself pain. Unfortunately I injured my foot yesterday at home. I work for a local Fire Department EMS and today my foot was really bothering me so I decided to purchase a pair of support stockings to help with the discomfort. Went in this place with my husband to get compression socks. We live in a rural area and had to find these items when we went to Houston on a special trip. My husband went in first and the women yelled at him for leaving the door open for me, since I was driving and had to get out and lock the car. Didn't want that precious cool air to go out the door. We went in and they said "Do you have a prescription?" "No". "Where did you get those?" "Walgreen's". The two women said "That's WRONG, WRONG, WRONG". They did not give us a chance to explain that we were told by a Physician's Assistant to get them for edema but nobody wrote a prescription and we didn't know what we needed. This was made worse by the fact that we don't live anywhere near a specialty store like this. I HAD to get some compression socks because I did not have any and had bad edema. Both the two women and the man were telling my husband that he was wearing them wrong by turning the tops down. He didn't know that. Then, a few seconds later, the male owner showed up and ordered my husband around, hectoring him about how to put on the socks, and so forth. .He kept telling my husband to use his thumbs to pull up, and my husband said he had severe arthritis in his thumbs and it hurt. The owner ignored him and humiliated him and basically wouldn't let him give any input. The owner is a real domineering jerk. The owner showed my husband the wire device to put the sock on to help. When my husband was trying to turn it so he could use it, the owner practically slapped his hand like he wasn't supposed to even touch it. We eventually got our merchandise, but we swear we will NEVER set foot in this store again after the humiliation my husband felt, like they were telling him he is really stupid and everything he does is wrong. He has a Bachelor's of Science and a Master's of Science degree in Physics, so their demeaning of him didn't set well with either one of us. The only reason we went there in the first place was because we went to Pasadena on a special trip and I looked up the nearest medical supply place. It takes us three hours to get to Houston, not counting getting to the South side of town. If this guy wants customers, the approach he took with us was not working. We're both feeling traumatized by a lesson in how not to run a business. read more

I have a small piece of equipment that I have used for years. It has worked reliably, but finally quit working. I went to Bayshore Medical Supply to find a replacement for my equipment and I was given the best customer service. They showed me several options to replace my old equipment. They even showed me the latest in technology for the equipment that I needed. They gave me all the information I needed to make a wise choice with no pressure to get one unit over another. I come here for medically needed equipment, products, etc. Fortunately, I don't need it often. The staff is friendly, fair prices and they are ready for you when you come in the door. I came in for compression socks today. They measured the area I needed them for. They showed me how to put them on and how to care for them. They showed my daughter as well, in case there were issues. I was upset about thinking I would need to give up my sandals and the sales lady cheerfully said they had open toe ones as well! Yep, got a pair of those as well! For some products you may pay a little bit more here, but I pay the extra to get their expertise, friendliness and always having the items I need in stock! read more

They have a great selection of scrubs and shoes as well as medical supplies... The owner is a former Marine which my husband loves from one marine to another. I am not in the medical field however have many medical problems and they are always right there and ready to help and assist on everything. They do have their beautiful dogs there, I've been there when all 3 or 4 there but it's there store and the store is extremely clean and the dogs are excellent behaved. I will always go to Bayshore Medical before another medical supply and a plus is they are less than 10 min from home. read more

A great medical supply! I have used this medical supply for many years now for different medical supplies which would include medical compression hose, walking canes, and recently two recliners that are lift recliners that my husband and I needed and had looked several places to find. Some people told us about the chairs because they say the chairs are very reliable and the customer service at the store is wonderful. This is correct. The owner spent a lot of time explaining all about the chairs to us. He even handed my husband a sample piece of the material the chair is made out of and told him to run his keys across it real hard to see if he could rip it which my husband did. He could not rip it because the material that the chair is made out of is so wonderful! The other employees are wonderful as well. Jay and Oscar delivered the chairs and have been back to our house a few times for questions we have had. The chairs are amazing and have really helped both of us. The owner, David, and the young men who came to our home have all been professional in their attitudes and their friendliness, as well as their knowledge about the products they sell in the store.
