On Thursday, October 26, 2023, I was traveling down Rte 95, in the middle lane, going about 75mph. Suddenly a car in the fast lane ahead of me, swerved into the middle lane, only to reveal a deer crossing the road. I hit the deer square on! I got to the side of the road, police came, I was brought home (unhurt, my Volvo saved me). I called R Stewart, where my car was towed, to find out what I needed to do next. They connected my call to Dickie Stewart, who offered to call all the reputable body shops in the area, as well as Volvo in South Portland, to see the best and fast place to have my car repaired. I called and they were friendly and informative on the phone. Told me how long it would be, and would let me know when the truck was close. The tow service itself was professional, and quick. My car was handled with care, and even though we didn't have far to travel the ride was cordial enough. These guys operate a 24 hour business, and I'm happy for the lift. The price was $85 cash from one town to another which is standard for here, based on competitors rates. I would call them again when in need of a tow.
