if someone was to ask me about my night last night, dealing with K&R Towing was absolutely life changing. this company sucks actual ass. i was waiting, in the freezing snow & rain- broken down- for a tow truck ordered through tripleA to this company, that had a started ETA of 12:53 AM. it then updated over 5 times with later ETA's, just to NEVER ARRIVE. I spoke with the "owner/manager" and he sounded quite literally nodding off on the phone while talking to me, talking nonsense & telling me he cannot connect or speak to his drivers as they don't have phones? i have a video of this interaction showing that he is clearly not coherent enough to be answering the phones and dispatching drivers. This was incredibly unhelpful and irritating. we were stuck at a Gas station in Maine from 11pm on March 1st, to nearly 7:30 am on March 2nd. mind you this is mid winter, when it's freezing at night. all waiting and counting on this company to come and save us. which never happened. i am incredibly unimpressed with this organization as a whole and quite literally disgusted as you think it's alright to promise someone that you will be there and simply not show up. in mid winter at night. read more

Let me just start off by saying this is the worst place of business I've ever had to deal with in my life. Let me explain why, my tires popped and I had to park at a store and it got towed unfortunately it got towed by k&r. We worked out a deal where they would fix my 2 tires for me, wasn't that a mistake, they gave me the run around for a week I had to go back not once but 3 times cause the owner kept telling me that my car was done... it wasn't and I live about an hour away. Finally when my car was actually done I went to get it I showed up and one of the tires had no air I was told "oh sorry I just forgot to put air in it." I believed it. Not to mention the other tire they put on was not even the right size tire it was way to big. I let it slid cause at this point I'm trying to just get my car out of this place and my car won't shift out of park they messed around with it for about an hour just to get it to go drive but I still am not able to put my car in park, now I have to put it in neutral and put on the e-break so it doesn't get stuck in park. But at this point I'm done I still paid for my tires that was my mistake but I went on my way.. I get half way home and one of the tires that they put on popped or lost air I don't know cause when I tried to fill it the rim they gave me the tire valve stem was stripped and I couldn't even attempt put air in it. I called k&r and explained to them what was going on and he offered me no solution so again I had to leave my car just for it to get towed again. I finally am able to get my car home and get new tires. But when I tried to put my new tires on I can't because they never return my tire key lock ( which you can't just go to the store and buy one btw) so I was unable to get off the bum tires they put on my car. Still after all this I tried to be civil and ask for my key lock I called about 20 time and I kept getting the same answer "we'll look for it." In my opinion they knew exactly where it was cause soon after they blocked my number. Still being civil I asked for a refund and the owner refused to hear me out. In conclusion if your car gets towed by k&r get it out as soon as you can. read more
