The cut looked good price is on the higher side at ($30) compared to the Asian ones in flushing are much cheaper under $20 but this cut looks cleaner and professional. You get what you pay for. My husband and son have been going to this barber shop for the past 5 years. There is only 1 person he allows to touch his head and that is Gary (owner), who is the Grand Master of all barbers. Customer service is always on point and that cliche barbershop talk is refreshing every time he gets a cut. Gary always takes his time even though he may have a huge line of regular customers waiting on him. He makes you feel like a member of his family because no topics are ever off limits. His cousin who works alongside with him cuts my son's hair and I think it looks really good, he gets the skin fade. There are a bunch of televisions, which keeps kids and adults occupied while you wait. The decor of the barbershop revolves around the mob (Sopranos and Scarface) so it is very masculine. There's plenty of street parking and a CoCo Bubble Tea + Pho restaurant next door. If you're looking to get the best quality haircut while being able to have a great conversation, look no further! read more

I've been going to Bayside's Finest for four years now since the first time I walked in back in 2020. Before then, I tried maybe 6-8 different shops but I wasn't happy with any of them. I know I can trust Bayside's Finest for the perfect balance of efficiency and style in my cut. Horrible place! If I could give 0 stars, I would! They don't know what they're doing. My husband went in for a shape up and ended up with cuts all over his neck! I happen to check out his haircut when he came back and he comes back like this. Also my camera couldn't pick it up but there's also a light colored, LOOOOOOONG bruising line at the end of his hairline on his neck, from one side to another. My husband said that the guy was very rough and probably used an old trimmer without a safety guard. He was being too nice and didn't say anything to the barber but honestly he shouldn't have to say anything. What was the barber looking at during this time? Obviously not my husband's neck! $25 to get stabbed? Are you kidding me??? Save your money, go somewhere else where the barbers won't cut your neck, literally. read more

I took my two year old son here on the referral of a friend. My son has very thick, very curly/coily hair and the Hispanic guy who cut him (and whose name I forgot, but he was awesome) was so gentle and did such an amazing job! This was my son's very first haircut and he sat so well for it, partly because I'd been talking about it in the days leading up to it and mostly because the barber dude was so sweet and engaging with him. I'll be taking my boy here for as long as they exist! FYI: the shop is immaculately clean also and decorated wonderfully. When moving to Bayside from another neighborhood several years ago i had to find a new barber. I don't need to tell anyone how hard that is. Finding a new dr. Is easier work. I came into Bayside's Finest Barbershop and was welcomed in like I have been going there since I was a kid. The shop is always clean and friendly, the wait is usually not bad because they do quick but outstanding work in those chairs. I can not say i have ever had a lackluster experience in this barbershop ever! I go to my man Gary, he always knows what to do without me having to even say it. i've read reviews and it says all the good things about this place but when i went in for my haircut. The short chubby guy, the young one messed up my haircut and i had a date today... please don't rely on that guy. Now i have to wear a hat. Also he was not patient with me and made me feel very uncomfortable. For all the young ones that wants to get a haircut from someone that actually cares about your hair go anywhere else but here. Don't let them mess up your hair. Your hair is everything and you would want to rely on someone that actually cares. They are also a little racist to asians. I needed a haircut, because the hair stylist I use was out of town. I tried this shop based on the reviews. I got Boris who is highly rated. I found this place to be anything but what was listed in the reviews. I explained to Boris how I wear my hair. I told him three times that I wear it over my ears. He cut it so short, that it does not even touch my ears. Stay away! The trouble with this shop as that THEY DON'T LISTEN.
